Move Forward Gives No Answer on PM Vote for Pheu Thai
As I said in another thread. They shouldn't even turn up for the vote. 151 empty seats. Great optics.
-
Move Forward undecided on whether to support Pheu Thai’s PM candidate
Double double cross. Let Prawit take PM then withdraw from the coalition. This would leave an unworkable minority govt and new elections.
-
Move Forward undecided on whether to support Pheu Thai’s PM candidate
The entire party should boycott the election of PM and not even turn up for the vote. The entire party missing from parliament would be great optics.

Public should forget Pheu Thai’s pledge not to associate with Prayut and Prawit: Sereepisuth
Trust in the system has dissapeared. These completely unhinged comments just reinforces that. Lie through your teeth is ok. People must forget the past. This bloke is certifiable.

Move Forward haven’t decided if they will back Srettha for PM
They should all abstain, or go fishing or go play golf etc.

Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai to hold joint press conference
Noooooooo. BJT are also the enemy. PT have abandoned their support base. A traitorous act.

Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai to hold joint press conference
This is tongue in cheek. Isn't it? If not exactly what democratic process are you talking about? It certainly can't be the election. Pita's minority party? You mean the party that got the most votes. Strong coalition? 8 parties is pretty strong involving the two parties with the most electoral votes. Of course there would be no impasse if the junta's senate, CC and EC did not exist. Then the democratic process would have been accepted, Thailand would have a new government and Pita would be PM. This is the democratic process people want. No the drivel you have just come out with.

Chuwit says General Prawit Wongsuwan will be Thailand’s Prime Minister at the end of August
Why attempted? Seems to being going nicely for them. Sentate, CC and EC all put in place to maintain the status quo. The people voted them and the status quo out yet here we are. Seems the status quo will remain. The will of the people has been overthrown and the military will remain in control.

What we are seeing is a soft military coup and the complete and utter dismissal of any resemblance of democracy.

Heavy rain probable across Thailand due to southwesterly monsoon influence
Heavy rain probable Probably the most accurate forecast for a very, very long time.

Has Thailand found legal recipe to beat soaring child obesity?
I knew a family husband in local politics wife running English teaching agency. Their 4 or 5 year old was obese. Lots of KFC and pizza. This was not a concern to the parents as it showed they were wealthy. Quite insane IMO.

Pita highlights global democracy’s decline, urges youth involvement
This has to be one of the least educated comments I have seen on here. EVER!

Pita highlights global democracy’s decline, urges youth involvement
The great reset is coming. No democracy. No freedom of speach. Here votes mean nothing. Absolutely no democracy in Thailand. Not sure if I can say this? Maybe a conspiracy theory. Bit like other so called conspiracy theories of late which have been shown to be true but not allowed to be discussed.

By-election called in Rayong after Move Forward MP forced to resign
Rayong has 5 seats. All 5 were won by MFP according to this .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Thai_general_election

By-election called in Rayong after Move Forward MP forced to resign
MFP will increase their majority in this electorate at the cost of PTP.

Chinese influencer praises Thailand’s VIP experience on elite visa
I'm very rich and had a good time. Guess that would be the same for any country one chose to travel to. Those countries trying to push a particular thing, in this case elite visas, I'm sure would be happy to show you a good time. Chinese Hi-So welcomed by Thai Hi-So. This article is an advert rather than actual reporting. I agree with @Pib sponsored.

Pheu Thai in social media storm after parting ways with Move Forward
Maybe. Maybe Thaksin has a plan B. They will still get into be with the enemy. This is how people will see it.

Pheu Thai in social media storm after parting ways with Move Forward
The 1st person I talked to today about this called PT traitors and they're finished. Fairly sure this feeling is very widespread.

Pheu Thai breaking with Move Forward to form its own coalition
There's a thing called crossing the floor where oppostion members can vote with the government or government members can vote with the opposition. If PT cross the floor and vote with the opposition this I think would make a majority vote. The constitution could be ammended this way before next year. Opposition puts the bill before parliament, PT cross the floor and vote with the opposition and the bill would get passed by a majority. It's just a scenario?
-
Pheu Thai breaking with Move Forward to form its own coalition
True. This was in my thoughts as I was posting. Pity is this will be to the benefit of the military aka coup.
-
Move Forward party ready join the opposition
Alas although the changes were minimal and meant to stop 112 being used as a political tool to be used against dissent and maintain the status quo it seems it has without being implemented been used as a political tool to guard against dissent, reform, progress and disregard the people's will at the ballot to maintain the status quo. I would like to talk about mountains in Europe but alas.
-
Pheu Thai breaking with Move Forward to form its own coalition
PT will be the majority party in the coalition by a long way. If they cross the floor and vote with the opposition, MFP, parliament becomes unworkable.
-
Move Forward party ready join the opposition
Nice statement. Could have been "Prayut's generals planted in the senate have denied your vote for progress and disregarded your and the people's vote." "Democracy does not exist in Thailand" As for 112 it needs to be reformed. It's a political weapon used to silence any discent against the status quo and the military/elite who benefits from said status quo.

We all make typographical errors. Political. Happy now?
