Thai MP Allegedly Caught Vaping in Parliament Sparks Outrage
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Don't need to. After decades of smoking cigs I stopped and after a several weeks started vaping. I was suffering badly with intermittent claudication due to PAD. I could only walk about 50 metres before the pain started. After 150 m it was really bad and 500m excruciating (think of walking with a severely torn calf muscle). That's no longer the case. Although the intermittent claudication is still there (due to nicotine in the vape juice) it's >90% improved. Admittedly some dietary changes have also helped. My lungs are also much better than they were and if it wasn't for pollution probably better still. As for giving a link I don't need to. If you want to educate yourself on this matter go right ahead. -

You have cherry picked a part of my post not directly related to the topic to fit your own narrative and hence have completely misrepresented my OP. My point was the crackdown stinks of Thaksin. Here is my OP. "Big police crackdown nationally to "maintain order". Smoking cigs, smoking dope and all vaping shops temporarily closed yet the high daily death rate on the roads remains and people still riding without helmets. This stinks of Thaksin." This is reportable. Please do not do it again.

Constitutional Court Urged to Annul Thai Senatorial Elections
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If the farce of the undemocratically elected (not elected by the people) pseudo senate is seen to support the status quo no action will be taken by the CC. The CC and the EC are the corrupt legal arms of the royalist, military, elites establishment and is there only to protect the former. -

Ukraine must cede territory in peace talks, says US
dinsdale replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Zelenky's not the problem. He'll negotiate he has no choice. Putin is the problem. He wants an end to the war not a ceasefire and wants most of the territory he's captured. -

What I'm not is an idiot. The fact that Russia is steadily moving west and the Kursk salient has collapsed has nothing to do with appeasement. It's reality which is something some on here have seem to have completely lost sight of. -

Just from a quick search the main MSM outlets are not reporting it but it is being reported. -

Kursk salient is gone. Troops now surrounded and withdrawing. I said this may happen last week and got the usual vacuous laughing emojis. Nobody had the balls to challenge me though. The only card albeit a small one that Zelensky had has folded. Always was a strategic error and has now proven to be the case. -

Back street garages and many vapes containing drugs? Seems your the type who believes what your led to believe. That's a lot of garages making a lot of vapes. 100s of millions of vapes per year would IMO be an underestimate. As for containing drugs well yes there's nicotine but apart from that zero unless they are specifically produced for that purpose. As for the nicotine itself there are varying degrees of nicotine strengths and indeed what's said to be nicotine free. The biggest unknown I guess are the chemicals and flavourings in the juice. As for cigarettes being controlled and taxed that correct. Doesn't make cigs safer than vapes though.. -
US Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard Embarks on Diplomatic Asia Tour

I have no problem with political discourse. It's the lunatic frothing at the mouth at anything and everything Trump does that's irrational and IMHO very disturbing. -
Thailand Seizes 200,000 Illegal E-Cigarette Items in Major Bust

Don't know how long it will last. As for flying I doubt they'll be bothered going through screening at the airport but I'd be very discreet about having a puff outside the airport. Thing is though will your vape last until you go. Can't get vapes anywhere as far as I know. As for things getting back to "normal" I very much hope so and hope it happens soon. There's always the chance that this will be permanent until sometime down the track it's legalised. Wouldn't hold my breath on that one. -

Still crying I see. Well it's only been 6 weeks. Maybe you'll grow up enough in a couple of years to accept the election result. -

Now you're just trolling. Stop it. possession of e-cigarettes in Thailand is illegal I'm hoping your grasp on English is sufficient enough that you can understand this. -

Try reading the article. Damn! Some people. Actually never mind I'll make it easy for you. "More compelling is the fact that possession of e-cigarettes in Thailand is illegal in itself, an infraction which could result in imprisonment, fines, or both, with penalties reaching up to 500,000 Thai Baht." Satisfied???????? BTW no one who vapes that I know calls them e-cigarettes. They're called vapes. -

The true hypocrisy is making vaping illegal whilst cigarettes are legal. You either make both legal or both illegal. -

The brilliance isn't on Zelensky's part. Trump put him in this corner by withdrawing intelligence and aid. Trump forced Zelensky's hand. Now he has to force Putin's hand. -

Your comment is spot on. IMHO this is all about getting rid of the opposition (Thailand's good at this) and this crackdown order is coming from very high up to protect the tobacco monopoly interests i.e. profit. As for being illegal it is. Illegal to sell, illegal to purchase, illegal to have and illegal to smoke. Right now if the BIB catch you you're in big strife. Talking with a Thai a couple of hours ago about getting vapes online he said no. "Now very dangerous." I'm really pissed off and this order is being enforced by a non-elected government. -

This is exactly what he did and why Ukraine has agreed in principle to a 30 day ceasefire. -

Oh dear! Whose got a glass chin then. As for sticking to my usual stuff aka rational thought and supported arguments I will. You I'm sure will keep to your usual stuff. Puerile, petulant replies with emojis. Lots of emojis.
