  1. And you base your assumption on what? How exactly is there and increased threat of war in Europe? All you do is spout whatever comes into your head without anything to support it.
  2. U.S. Department of Education Takes Action to Eliminate DEI WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Education has taken action to eliminate harmful Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including references to them in public-facing communication channels and its associated workforce. These actions are in line with President Trump’s ongoing commitment to end illegal discrimination and wasteful spending across the federal government. They are the first step in reorienting the agency toward prioritizing meaningful learning ahead of divisive ideology in our schools. https://www.ed.gov/about/news/press-release/us-department-of-education-takes-action-eliminate-dei Colleges, K-12 schools ordered by Trump administration to abolish DEI or face funding cuts The U.S. Department of Education has given colleges and schools with race-specific programs — including financial aid and racially themed dormitory floors and graduation ceremonies — until the end of the month to abolish them or risk losing federal funding as educators scrambled over the holiday weekend to interpret the sweeping scope of new guidelines. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-02-17/education-department-will-cut-funding-unless-schools-abolish-dei
  3. One of the things I asked you was do you know what the situation on the eastern front is and this is your reply. My mother always told to me it's very bad manners to answer a question with a question. Shows lack of character. So I will will ask the question again. Do you know what the situation on the eastern front is? Whilst I'm at it I might as well ask this one again. How do you think this war can be brought to an end? Obviously I'm not expecting an answer from you as this is something you don't do. You simply deflect. Kamala would be proud of you.
  4. As I said he is not you're typical Republican hawk. Do you know what a hawk is in relation to international military doctrine? My guess is you don't otherwise you would not have called me wrong.
  5. It was Biden leading us toward WWIII. Your memory seems to have blocked this reality. As for larger scale war in Europe why don't you elaborate on this rather than just giving your usual unsupported comment.
  6. Cheers but don't listen too hard to the ramblings of some on here. What's happened are just initial talks to test the waters with Russia. Trump himself has said that Ukraine necessarily needs to be included in any negotiations toward a cease fire/peace accord. In the end Russia will keep most of the eastern region they have taken. I can't realistically see any way around this. Zelenkyy's position to bargain is not strong. As for threatening Putin with boots on ground I can't see this happening either. Putin's hip pocket will need to be threatened and this will be focused toward oil and gas exports. Without income from this (which of course is most definitely helping to fund his war) the Russian economy will be in big problems.
  7. I wonder how many vaccines are in stock? A lot I would think since people have woken up and no longer trust the CDC recommendations.
  8. Valid points but the thing is he's losing the war and it's simply not rational to think this can be reversed without massive support from the US, EU and NATO and this isn't going to happen.
  9. Yes. It's ticking along. Manufacturing is going strong and this is a typical thing in war time (military manufacturing) and the oil and gas is still being exported. Any strains on the economy will outlast the number of boots Ukraine can put on the battlefield. Having said this you have once again deflected away from answering the question. How do you think this war can be brought to an end?
  10. The thing is that Trump is an atypical Republican. He doesn't want war. Indeed it's not just Republican hawks that want war, you don't have to look that far back in history to see the Democrats hawkish approach. As for alienating US allies maybe it's time they started supporting themselves more rather than relying on the US taxpayer.
  11. Do you actually think Ukraine is winning the war? I have asked you this before on many occasions and you have never answered. How to you think this war can be brought to an end? Do you think Ukraine can defeat Russia? Do you have any idea what is happening on the eastern front?
  12. Well say what you like you like but Trump certainly knows how to push people's buttons as evidenced by the usual and predictable posts on here by some. The man shoots from the hip and definitely has his own style but the upshot is this war will be brought to end and the longer it takes the more territory Ukraine will lose. The eastern front is moving west and doing so faster than ever.
  13. What I "sat waiting for" is the topic of the OP's posts. Above is a typical example.
  14. Flu or maybe just a cold. The common cold can be pretty unpleasant. I've had the flu before. Long time ago but there wasn't any choice about staying home isolating. I could hardly get out of bed. Much worse than the couple (???) of times I've had covid.
  15. It's ok. The war will be brought to an end and it will be Trump that does it. It's interesting that we can talk about negotiations/peace talks because if the Democrats won the war would rage on with no end in sight.
  16. If you bothered to look at the vid you'll see that what he said can be taken another way i.e. should have negotiated a way out rather than going in. Can't blame Zelenskyy though as Russia did invade and the war mongering Biden administration supported, some would say encouraged Zelenskyy to respond militarily.
  17. Agree and have definitely got worse post Nov 2024. It can't be healthy.
  18. People need look at the bigger picture. China is in that picture. Trump doesn't want Putin getting to cozy with Xi. There's a geopolitical game happening here in the background you can bet your bottom dollar on it.
  19. I agree. What AI spits out is heavily dependent on the prompts.
  20. It's just all flowery rubbish that reads like a two bit novel. Sadly this is now the reality (oh the irony) that we have to put up with.
  21. Nothing mysterious or enigmatic about it. Seems AI got a bit carried away with this one. "Initially diagnosed with pneumonia, his condition was later revised to acute respiratory distress syndrome. However, conflicting information from the British Embassy suggested potential kidney issues..." Not pneumonia so either as the docs have diagnosed ARDS or for some reason as the British Embassy is saying kidneys neither of which can be categorized as either mysterious or enigmatic. Enigmatic in this context would be difficult to diagnose or pin down if you will.
  22. Same could be said as to why the little nutter Thunberg spoke to the UN?
  23. Maybe the food he was "foraging" for was the food (moo baa/pig crazy) that got him. Although illegal to poach wild boar it happens. I've actually eaten this in the past and it's delicious.
  24. Interesting comment in light of those who rolled out for Harris and those who continue to throw baby tantrums and shed Tik Tok tears over Trump's victory.
  25. Is he wrong? Now it will be stopped and it's Trump that will stop it. It's happening as we speak. Ukraine will lose a lot more land because of Biden's incompetency.
