But i reside in pattaya and if the letter is ok with immo ,then why would i travel with higher expenses to get the same day

when i can w8 the week or so,as i'm getting the letter 4 months ahead of schedule.

So it's a simple matter of getting things done with little stress/money/travel/time, as in 2 x 10 minute trips to consul compared to say 3hr round trip to bankok +waiting time.

What i do is this my extension is due mid september and 90 day report in october.

So i renew extension in mid august that gives me a full 2 months to not worry about an ever increasing

amount of people filling up the immigration office.

stick to trying to report at the permissable 6 day over, the days soon mount up, it certainly makes my days easier.

Because my gf does my 90 day report for me, i love her for that but not a word hehe.

i have a solution to your problem,kick maxnet in the gutter and sign up with true 8mb and very reliable.

Although the 8 mb is not consistent you still get on average 5-6 mb

lawd hull was wrong then, they clearly stated the visa was valid for up to 4 x 90 day visits,and yes they did say it would allow up to 15 months stay. obviously i read ur posts but why would i need more than 4 entries if i intend staying so obviously i would max them to the full so it seems some of you didnt read my posts.

ok scenario my gf stays for 11 months sends passport back to uk to a friend who then posts a application on her behalf to hull for a further 4 x 90 days this is then posted back to her in thailand and then she makes the trip to malaysia and returns with guess what a fresh visa to re-enter the kingdom.

would that work ?

i am actually retiring there but my girlfriend isn't hence the 4 x 90 days as it seems a grey area with how the income comes into thailand ie i have sufficent funds without a regular pension i was thinking it would be easier to do the same as my girlfriend

going to enter thailand next month on a o 4x 90 day visa and was told that i could do 3 border runs only then on the last i would have to fly to malaysia and obtain a further 4x 90 day visa can u guys confirm this is correct if so that would be better than returning to uk for a further 4 x 90 because how i understood it i would have to fly home.

The extension of stay should be applied for during the last 30 days or your 90 entry.

The money must come from overseas. Set up a wire transfer agreement with your bank and then after you arrive and open an account here have them transfer the funds.

So in that case then i actually lose 30 day's or so, or do i advance date the application to start from the 91st day.

But on a 90 day O visa

I am 52 and asking for help to get me through the minefield of paperwork and nescessary docs required in thailand as it seems all the docs barring the police one from the uk are not valid to apply for the OA visa if anyone from pattaya can show me the way i would appreciate the help and will pay your expenses plus a few extra beers.
