  1. Utter BS to qualify this clear-cutting as a success.

    No shadow, nearly no space to sit. Dread boring palm desert.

    They have cut age old big trees.

    Yep spot on my friend i know several of the so called stingy brigade who daily travel to the beach, to whilst away the time,on returning home they use the facilty of the pool toilet/shower as guess what they have no running water or electric connected within their room.

    I always giggle to myself when i wake and see that it raining heavily and wonder what these types do for the day, possibly they spend the day within the confines of the like of BigC in the seated area designed for eating purposes.only.

  2. My understanding of this is 7 days before or 7 days after the date of report,tell me if i'm wrong ubon but i know you will hehe here see my example'

    so if you count the 8th day as the report date either side the count is the 15 days that you mention.

    The notification must be made within 7 days before or after the period of 90 days expires. This is measured back to the foreigner’s last date of entry into Thailand.

Am somewhat 1 could call a heavy smoker but don't wanna lift weights or risk injury on me bike so i try to daily amble along to my stairway and sometimes i go down,good excuse to grab a beer and a fag break,then up again maybe then walk the length of the passageway and gradually increase the distance seems to be working but darn it expenditure for cigs has increased lol.

  5. The Australian couple shall now hide behind anonymity laws designed to protect the identity of children in cases of high news interest.

     

     

    They need to be named, and to be bought before a court in order to be forced to accept the full consequences of the choices they made. 

    Whole heartedly agree i know thailand is renowned for anything for the right price but this shameless couple should be made themselves to pay the consequences of this horrendous act of mankind,as for the surrogate mother surely she is no innocent bystander.

  6. i dunno the screens get bigger and bigger nowadays,in maybe 2 years time we'll all be walking around with a 42 inch widescreen mobile complete with backpack straps.

    It was bad enough when i bought my first mobile seemed like it weighed 2 kilos.cheesy.gif

  7. I take it you are what they call farang,then it's gonna be your fault 99% of the time as we all know thailand,

    Then your options are do the max only and at least have peace of mind that you only have to pay the insurance.

    A friend of mine last week renewed his insurance all in 10k unfortunately he gone up north for a months stay so cant advise further as to whom to go to, he has a similar situation as you do ie: age of vehicle no claims discount.

    Had a good laugh today,in total agreement with you better than just a blank look.

    Poor girl obviously couldnt converse the information in english so give the wife the info same as i get when i ask a ? they don't or wont understand they ask my gf what i said and subsequently this is related back to me in broken english.

  9. @ soalbundy,No doubt virtual card is valid in uk,but for my own peace of mind would prefer the real thing,and of course if my gf gets the real thing it's party time for me,looking at new all in one laser printers as i type,and boy do i need a new android phone and top of the range pc.

  10. Avenue of kas was rejected for either getting to borrow a shop owners card (thai) or my gf depositing 40k in bank of kungsri to obtain the card.

    Now where the heck she got that sort of money from i ask but hey i'll use another thread for that.

    Have doubts as to validity of the virtual card way even though other members have used this route.

    My final ? here is if i use the route of a borrowed persons card will vfs need to see said card to verify the signature on the form or just rely on the signature itself.

    Appreciate any feedback thx.
