When this incompetent Government thinks (incorrectly) that nearly everything it has done during it's tenure has been a success, it's never going to admit failure to anything.

I agree that had he been at the helm Thailand would not be in the pathetic mess it is in now, all caused by incompetent people acting as politicians. I am not sure the coup fan boys will agree !

It makes them untouchable for their gross incompetence in dealing with Covid.
“it may be difficult” to press criminal charges against the government, as it is protected by the emergency decree imposed to control the virus crisis.

I think you'll find Mr P, that it is the your actual policies related to Covid (and policies not related to Covid, for that matter), that have caused panic and criticism, not misinformation about them !

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said “it may be difficult” to press criminal charges against the government, as it is protected by the emergency decree imposed to control the virus crisis.
And all the blinkered people thought the forever extended "emergency decree" was brought in specifically to control the spread of the virus.

Seksakol Atthawong, assistant minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, rejected the “murderous government” label. He denied the Prayut administration was unfairly favouring any vaccine,
It appears the government is full of compulsive liars !

A complete and utter shambles.
Maybe, instead of "sandbox" it would have been more appropriate to name it "petri dish" !

I think you'll find that most people who wanted to leave have left already !
Giving prior notice 3 or4 days before this "lockdown" was implemented, really wasn't a great idea !

More like a big publicity stunt.
It deflects media publicity away from their gross incompetence in dealing with the said pandemic.

It's bizarre that a National Anti Corruption Commission has an Act that actually helps the most corrupt people hide their ill gotten gains !

If he had never been involved in health matters in the first place (being from a construction background), things would almost certainly be a bit better.

Anutin for his part said in past interviews that he doesn’t plan on leaving the coalition and that he was there to fix the country’s problem.
He isn't doing a very good job of it, in fact, he seems to be making it worse !

he urged everyone to cooperate in the fight against the new variant and to report for inoculation,
The problem isn't people reporting for a vaccine, it's been the total incompetence of those in charge in getting enough to vaccinate the populace within a respectable timeframe !

Many millions more citizens would like to get vaccinated, but due to Government incompetence cannot !

If the incompetence of the Covid Czar and the shambolic Health Minister, with their abysmal vaccine roll out are anything to go by, it won't be soon at all, you'll be looking at sometime next year !

Thailand proposes 10 year visas and land ownership for foreigners - again

I would think that Thailand would need to have a democratically elected Prime Minister, and Government, before these million "expats" are going to be enticed to move here.
Not going to get many putting that kind of investment in whilst the military have anything to do with politics.
