"I forgive the person that shared it."
I am not sure the person who shared the video wants forgiveness, he deserves praise for highlighting the horrible bullies within the Thai police force !

“Let’s not forget that, as the prime minister of Thailand, General Prayut is directly in charge of the Royal Thai Police. Seven years have passed, he has done nothing. Do you think he’s going to do it now? No!” he added.
Sums the man up perfectly !
Pathetic.

he said it could not be determined at this stage whether the abuse seen in the video was intended to extort money from the victim or to extract information about the illicit drug trade.
Not sure this matters, it is MURDER and punishable with life sentences, at the very least.

The best "New Thailand" would be one without Prayuth, Anutin, Prawit and the other dinosaurs.
Then Thailand could start to move forward.

What image ?
I was advised on my first trip here in 1991 that they were corrupt as <deleted>, and never to trust them, and things have never improved !

The Health Department has decided to tighten up controls on wet markets across the country
Way, way too late,
Had this been done months ago, Thailand would not be in the right mess it is in at this current time.

If his previous "seeing signs" are anything to go by, Thailand is still in for a torrid 6 months or more.
Surely, he would be better keeping his mouth shut, and using all his energy to obtain vaccines for the people.

Do you think so ?
Try telling that to the families of the deceased, and those still suffering, with numbers rising daily, all down to your incompetence.

Yep. Youngest four months old. People with no underlying medical conditions dying. That should do it.
People with previously undiagnosed underlying medical conditions dying.
There, I corrected it for you.
Many people have undiagnosed medical conditions, but don't find out until it's too late

But, in reality, (because these figures are delusional), they would be lucky to be in the top five of tourism countries in South East Asia !

"Deputy Prime Minister and Anutin Charnvirakul, the minister of health, said on Tuesday that the decree was not his idea but proposed by Permanent Secretary of Health Kiattiphum Wongrajit."
Certain members of this Government are experts at seeking praise if something goes right (not that a lot does when they are involved), but also unsurpassable at passing the buck when things are messed up !

That's one person.
I moved here from UK 16 years ago, and have a far better life here than I would do back home.
Apart from a few inconveniences during Covid, not a lot has changed for me, climate, cost of living etc., still the same. I am now happily single, and do not live in Pattaya, or any other tourist town.
I know many people back home, both younger and older than me (61) who would love to swap places with me rather than spend the rest of their life back there !

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul would be exempt from any future prosecution.
And there's people on here wondering why people are protesting !
An absolute farce !

Wounded ?
On a life support machine is nearer the mark.
Gross incompetence across the board.
