All the people who were saying "don't worry, just sign the petition' !
As many said, best to keep a low profile.

I reckon, by the time the 20th seminar comes around, we could be hitting the 50,000 road deaths per year mark.

I am just off for my leisurely walk around a local lake here in Thailand, 4.45am I'll start.
Pretty sure I couldn't do that back in my home city in the UK, although not been back for 14 years myself !

I think you can safely change that to WHEN it is defeated on major legislation !

You could substitute the bold print to read "bringing happiness back to the people" and it would be nearer the mark.

Stepping down would be a brilliant start.

Seeing as 'farang' tourists get 30 day visa free entry on arrival, I fail to see how they are trying to 'get them out', in favour of other nationalities ? Unless you are babbling on about TM28/30's, which is an entirely different thing.

“Trust me, I believe I can handle it and must do it” he said.
I wouldn't trust him to butter a slice of bread, without making a mess of it, never mind dealing with any problems in parliament !

Had Sprite here in the North East, ever since I came to live here 15 years ago.
I remember, because I personally did the ordering from the wholesaler every morning, over the phone.
If you said "Sprite" they didn't have a clue, but then I got to know all the drink pronounciatons for future orders. I had to say "Sa-pite", and they understood !
Other pronounciations included Thai-guur, Hi-neek-ken, Ba-caar-dee, Johnnie Woor-keer, Wodka, Wine Coo-luur !
Ah, the good old days !

Could well be mental health issues, which is becoming more prevalent worldwide, with very few satisfactory solutions.

When will these <deleted> understand that overthrowing an elected Government is NOT democratic ?
If anything, they are now, as near as you can get to an autocracy !

His definition of 'democracy' massively differs from other people's definition.
A rigged election, decision of seat allocation after people have voted, and 250 unelected senators (junta selected), are NOT part of a democracy !

PM won’t tolerate violence and vows no hiding place for the perpetrators
It's strange how the people who used violence on 'Ja New' appear to have found a hiding place.
Behind the PM perhaps ?

If they were educated, he would be voted out of his position(s) as soon as it is possible.

Back in the UK after 10 years in Thailand
in Home Country Forum

Actually, the lake I walk around, Beung Kaen Nakhorn in Khon Kaen, must have over 100 stray dogs there every day, and they have never been a threat to either me, or other walkers/joggers as far as I am aware, in 5 years.
As for the burning season, as it is close to the city centre, and away from the crop fields, the air never bothers me, and when I go to the asthma clinic every 3 months, my spirometer reading improves every time. It is also kept clean on a daily basis, and I have never seen broken bottles lying around.
In a simiar environment in the UK, I would be in fear of moped gangs, knife gangs and smackheads.
