I wonder how they knew the center pages had been removed. British passport pages are not numbered.
A 10 day working trip?
Did she have a work permit?
My passport was issued in 2013, and the odd numbered pages are clearly numbered in large print.

I think you can more or less guarantee "The untouchables" were not part of the 80.
Why not reveal the <deleted> lot, as doing just 80 makes a complete mockery of the report.

"While insisting that the incomplete oath recital issue is not a big deal and it can be rectified, he accused the Prime Minister of dodging the issue."
He has had so much time, and many opportunities to rectify it, but it is so blatantly obvious that he has no intention of doing so, and will not back down !

As was the blatant vote rigging, the nefarious allocation of seats to small parties (pro Prayut) who hardly got any votes, and,of course, the personal unopposed selection of the whole senate !

Although they get a lot of criticism on here, the immigration were quite correct to deny her entry, being in possession of a damaged/altered passport.
The question should be asked as to how she was allowed on the plane that brought her here in the first place.

He said that the sidewalks along Khlong Ong Ang could have various works of art installed, and he proposed the new manhole covers to beautify the sidewalks.
Just a basic cover with bright paint saying "Strictly no motorbikes allowed" would have been a far better, and cheaper, alternative.

I am sure it would take a lot more than a few plebs asking for a couple of hundred baht each, to embarrass this <deleted>.

Life is what you make it.
If things change, it's no use moaning about it, you need to adjust and adapt where necessary.
I am more than happy here.
Those that aren't happy, probably won't be happy with their new destination, once the novelty wears off, and will carry on moaning.

"When questioned about what impressed them about their MPs, 51.48% said they were impressed with their enthusiasm to work,"
To work for what ?
To work for the people, or to work to increase their own personal wealth ?

Although it sounds like a great idea, with two tier pricing, and scams in various other areas catering for westerners, taxis, jet skis, Omani bell ringers, to name a few, it might not be a good idea. Opportunities to rip vulneable people off would, unfortunately, be plentiful.

Sounds a bit of BS to me. You was willing to go to jail over 700 baht (let’s assume your bill was 300) so 400 overcharge. even on principle. SMH. The easy resolution was to find the girl(s) you bought the alleged drinks for. Are they going to lie to your face?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIt's not BS at all, why would I make it up ?
I was not prepared at all to go to jail, but I was prepared to fight my corner against being ripped off by a bar owner. I had a bar here for nearly 10 years, and I can honestly say I never once ripped a customer off, and would never even consider doing so. One of the main things my late parents taught me was honesty.
I would do exactly the same again.
It's no wonder there are so many bars open there, when punters, like you, are prepared to pay whatever bill is put in front of them, even if they suspect it is padded.

He had probably been here long enough to realise that, the justice system here is not quite equivalent to the one back home. Even if he is totally blameless, in Thailand, it could be possible he could be convicted, and, being farang versus Thai is not a good start.

I was in a bar in Pattaya, and I bought 1 lady a drink, and I had a small Leo.
I decided to move on, and was presented with a bill of over 700 baht, and when I questioned it, the owner said I had ordered drinks for other girls. Had I been a newbie, I probably would have paid it begrudgingly, and moved on, but as I first visited there in 1991, and have lived in the N.E. for 15 years, as a matter of principle, I disputed it.
She wouldnt back down, and either would !, so she called the police, and minutes later they arrived in a pick-up (probably expecting a good pay day from stupid farang !).
It was then decided that I would have to go to Soi 9, in the back of the pick up, and when there, I was told I would be put in a cell for the night, and would appear in court in the morning. They were probably expecting me to bribe my way out of my now predicament, but, instead, I called a highly influential lawyer in Khon Kaen, and passed the phone over to the officer. To this day I do not know what was said, but on handing me the phone back, he told me I was free to go, and the matter was closed.
I find in a lot of places, up here included, some bars are trying scams, as an awful lot of them must be losing money day after day, with customer numbers drastically reduced.

The Prime Minister said that Thammanat, like the rest of the cabinet, had passed the official vetting process adding that, if Thammanat had failed the vetting process, he would not have been appointed in the first place.
Who does the vetting ?
Probably someone, or some people, appointed by Prayut ?
If so, it's just another of the numerous government farces.

A 13 year old girl forced into prostitution, with Thai men, in rural Thailand.
Sadly, the tip of the iceberg, it is a lot bigger than the prostitution in tourist areas.
As it is possible that at least one punter may well have connections, not much more will be heard about this, and normal service will continue.

Sorted, NO increase on tax.
It's sad when greed and profit come before trying to improve people's health, by encouraging them to pack in.

Totally agree.
I have never had to jump through any hoops at immigration, I just comply.
Walking round the lake in the mornings at 4.45am, feeling pretty safe, get smiles and acknowledgements from most, if not all, Thai walkers (and no need to wear a stab vest, like I would in UK), and never have any problems with Thais in my everyday life, regardless of their status or wealth.
I think it is more about each individual farang's attitude (or paranoia), rather than the Thais themselves.

I don't think you need Thanathorn to incite public distrust in the government, the two (Mr.P's.) clowns are doing a fine job with that, without his assistance.
