Taxi drivers urged to up their game ahead of Nov 1 tourist reopening
Wiggy replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Maybe, but, “Thailand number one!” -
Oh, I see. It’s now ‘dust’ caused by a cold front stopping over the north of until December (which is rubbish as weather fronts rarely stop for more than a few days) and Diesel engines, and is not related to the irresponsible behaviour of farmers burning crop stubble. Every year a new excuse, and nothing being done to prevent it.

This is where the defamation law stinks. We should be entitled to know the name of the company/companies involved so that we can avoid them. More people will potentially be scammed due to this ridiculous law.

The UK system is based on where you’ve been recently, not your nationality. So I guess Thailand’s system would be based on the same logic, but I don’t know for sure. My guess is you’d need to do some kind of quarantine if coming from a country not on the list. -
I wonder if they’ll accept the electronic certificate on the Mor Phrom app. It’s in English (and Thai) and contains all the information they require. My paper certificate from the hospital is printed in black and white and could easily be forged. I guess maybe will have to get a yellow ‘vaccine passport’.

Prepare for a spike, public health expert says, but don’t panic
Wiggy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That's a bit of an unprovoked attack. I was merely saying that another poster indicated that those who didn't want a vaccine should just get on with it. I don't 'expect' anything here, even after 29 years. That said, I've had my first shot of AZ and my second is due in two weeks' time. My post was aimed at those, particularly Thais, who desperately want to get vaccinated but can't due to various factors. So, I suggest you read things more carefully before attacking people next time and stop making wild assumptions. -
