Imagine the outrage if Thailand refused entry to its own people, Iam sure the idea was tabled though and got voted down !!
The same as the outrage of those non-Thais unable to be with their families I imagine.

Thailand allows entry to Thai nationals so your rebuttal is flawed, I feel for those that may be infected due to this.
You missed my point.

So why risk the chance of increased spreading by allowing anyone to enter? Just saying.

A foreigner allowed entry that has the WuFlu goes onto infect 10 other people..... Yeah I have compassion for those innocently infected.
How about:

No surprise. It has ceased being an embassy and has become a trade mission.

That's not true, at least at the Central and Robinson's locations I've visited in the past two days.
In each case, they had the QR code poster that they asked customers to scan on the way in, and then again on the way out. My wife went that route, and as best as I can tell, there was no app or anything else installed on her mobile.
I, on the other hand, decided to play the "farang" card, so in both instances when I got to the check-in spot, I feigned ignorance and lack of communication, and never even took out my mobile phone.
And in both cases, they pointed me to an adjoining table where they had a sign-in/sign-out book where people were asked to write their name, phone number, time, etc... Once on the way in, and again on the way out.
So at least with Central and Robinson's, you can go in and out without ever doing anything with your mobile phone -- as long as you're willing to sign their "guest" books.
I need to start shopping where you are then as I can't even get into a poxy 7-11 without doing it.

I’m more afraid of being crammed In on public transport than sat a few feet away from people in a pub.

Cars are driving on the right side of the road, and nobody is wearing a face mask.
Eather this was filmed in another country, before the covid outbreak, or it just happened on another planet.
Eather way, the rider is an absolute space man.
I concur, the houses on the other side of the street have driveways and a car is parked on a driveway. It doesn’t look like Thailand at all. Although the restaurant is filthy enough to be Thailand.

Athenians imposed a rule of odd number plates one day, even numbers the next...no drastic measures needed to reduce traffic...of course affluent people could have two cars.
Or two sets of number/license plates. Everybody could do that.

After being hit, maybe the tuk-tuk driver or the truck driver applied the emergency brake just in time to prevent a worse disaster from happening by preventing the truck from hitting the wall.
Could well be. More likely the truck as I can’t see a Tuk-Tuk’s brakes stopping something that weighs a few tons, even if empty.

From the photo it appears the truck hasn't hit the wall. So what stopped it? It couldn't have been the brakes as they had failed. Hmm....

You probably get sick and die. As with all of this, common sense should prevail. What a stupid question.
It was a rhetorical question, and not as stupid as your suggestion of wearing gloves as, by your own admission, can lead to the spread of the disease.

Gloves please.
So the virus gets on your gloves, then you touch somebody/thing else or your face, and then what?
Covid plus lack of democracy ‘spells disaster’ for Thailand

Agreed. One only needs to look at the education system here to see this in action.
