  1. Seems you worry more than us canadians. We really aren't that scared but if you are a busybody, as you seem to be, then the media hype will get to you.
  2. unfortunately for the people there they are led by an oligarchic junta that probably cares less what happens to its people. lose lose situation for the pleb... and i'll bet any relief funds will be syphoned by the corrupt heads of state...
  3. been saying that for years now. I used to be democrat inclined, but no longer.
  4. Now dat gonna hurt... important industry here the car industry... good paying job for thais lets see how taxin takes care of this one... not sure he is a trump bud
  5. Hi Bob... you aint gonna escape that one 🤡
  6. nope AI did it all by itself I just copied and pasted what it gave and i was quite honest from the start about it... so go tell chat gpt what you think cos I could care less.
  7. whatever that means...
  8. ➡️ In Thailand, the driver turning left has the right of way over the driver turning right, because the right-turning vehicle must cross traffic. Summary: Thailand drives on the left. Left turn = easy, no need to cross traffic. Right turn = must yield to oncoming vehicles. ✅ So, the left-turning driver has the right of way.
  9. why didnt you ask chatgpt if it bothers you so much: In Thailand, when both directions have a green light, the driver who is turning right has the right of way over the driver who is turning left across oncoming traffic. However, let's break it down clearly: Driver turning left (across traffic from the opposite direction) must yield to: Oncoming vehicles going straight, and Oncoming vehicles turning right. This is because a vehicle turning left must cross the path of oncoming traffic, while a vehicle turning right generally turns into the near lane, not crossing paths. ✅ So in Thailand, the driver turning right has the right of way, and the driver turning left must wait until it is safe. That said, local driving habits can be unpredictable, so always drive cautiously even when you technically have the right of way.
  10. but it has everything to do about knowing the culture of a country first hand rather than speculating on what one reads on a forum or hears on mainstream news.
  11. no not at all. i love people yapping about another country's politics without actually knowing anything about said country except what they think they know which usually aint anything more than a fart in a bathtub... there opinion that is...
  12. gotts love the thais... this guy nearly loses his face/life but doesnt start a go fund me like most expats who get in trouble here. this is another reason why I love thailand so much...
  13. i've been saying that for years... but the lefties just cant be convinced... seems funny how, except for jan 6... the lefties are always holding more violent demonstrations than the republicans. maybe they watch too much Whoopie on the View....
  14. Just one question, are you even american?
  15. Shouldn't they clean their own house first? Was he even born then? Lot's of water under the bridge has passed and when I look at the violence in france... I wonder if this guy should toot his horn. Every country has its dunce hat to wear and here in canada, for example, it is the way that our forefathers treated the natives who were ousted from their land. Are canadian politicians giving back said acquired land?
  16. 555 so weed now is a cash crop that can be exported if following the rules
  17. something that helps me make my choice is that i find many filipine people have bad body odor that thai girls dont have. Kinda reminds me of indian girls.... BO a definite turn off
  18. that seems to be the republicans and conservatives' view, but many leftists still want to bleed our bloodbanks and reserves for 13 year old Amhed's that are well past puberty... send them back to go face a world that they have done nothing to preserve while they were living them. They sat on their two hands doing nothing and now they are asking for asylum... shame on the dodgers
  19. I dont know the guy so frankly I dont feel anything for him. Plenty of other living people deserve sympathy. I despise how the media etc... will always try to spin things... in this case "he made a big impact on his community"... who can verify this? Just saying that he was a youth that enjoyed life to the fullest would have got my sympathy more, cos as you mentioned i too did stupid things that could have turned out bad. Choose your battles. You want to empathise with this kid knock yourself out. But dont force your ideals and views on me. I am currently hospitalised and there are a whole lot more people surrounding me that deserve my empathy other than some kid who MIGHT have been a sexpat or druggie. Been in tland long enough to have met quite a few of those.
  20. 555 now let's see my canadian embassy justify their existence. Oh... wow... silence... fly buzzing in room... Useless overpaid <deleted>!
