    Thanks for the replies.

I called AIS and asked specifically what the packages included.

For the Love Love 99B package, you specify ONE number you can call for free, plus 3Gb download limit.

A better one looks like the "On-Top Package" which includes:

Internet 3Mb download limit 399B for 30 days. Inc. 150 call minutes throughout Thailand.
After d/l limit reached, restricted to 128Kb d/l for rest of month. Will receive SMS if monthly d/l limit is reached.

If choosing a lower download limit, then have to still pay for a "main subscription", plus lower download limit 1Mb/2Mb package cost. (Not sure on cost per call, if calls go over 150 mins?)

At present I'm paying 200B/month for 200 minutes calls only. If I change to another package, I cannot go back to this one, as it's no longer available.

Since rates are rarely about 1 baht per minute anyway, your postpaid package doesn't appear to be particularly good value.

Just as I thought, no intention of helping,.

Do you imagine that I am on call to the forum twenty fours a day?? What are you thinking??

A System Restore doesn't wipe anything. Factory Restore perhaps.

Built to perform and designed to impress, the Ideacentre family offers a wide range of products, from super slim all-in-ones to powerful tower desktops, and pocket-sized PC's.

So one can hardly be expected to know which machine is in question.

You could also have run a Reset keeping all of your data intact. Hey ho.

Try to improve the attitude eh?

Who gets to decide who are the criminals in any given location in Thailand? The whole exercise seems too "staged" for me to take allegations detailed above seriously. I don't know why the media seems so eager to take anything the RTP says as gospel truth. International organisations with some credibility have labelled the RTP the "biggest criminal organisation in Thailand" in the recent past, yet here we find the media blithely repeating any claims about citizen/visitor residents an RTP spokesman cares to make, without any supporting evidence. Too much Playskool Cops, but people apparently want to swallow it all.

Allow me to refresh your memory.

The group included 6 Russians several of whom were wanted on Interpol red notices or by police in Russia for involvement in narcotics and illegal money transactions.

What I find troublesome is that the Isreali behind the failed WaterFront is walking around free. Is it not obvious that some back door dealings went on to get approval of this project? Hundreds of purchasers of this and his other failed developments are out huge sums. It certainly looks like fraud has taken place.

    He'll be running away soon.

No my suggestion is that French owners of restaurants in Pattaya try to lower their prices a bit. It's possible to sell simple French dishes for 150- 200 baht instead of 3-400 baht. It will attract more customers and they will make a profit.

We have several Italian places in town that already offer reasonable priced food so why not French ?

The restaurant that I mentioned eating at earlier offers a three course menu(prix fixe) for the price you mention. 320 baht if I remember correctly. Girlfriend enjoyed every course. More than one French restaurant offers a Prix Fixe at that price point.

La Grillade on Walking Street being another example. It's normal in France and I'll guess that a few will do it here.
