I live in Ao nang and as I am an older man who wishes to get older I continue to wear my mask in shops and confined areas.
I don’t comment to others who don’t as it would only cause friction, an example was a European tourist in Lotus’s last week who was offered a mask by a staff member who was told to F### Off by said tourist.
The quality tourists are back ……

What a superb model aeroplane, I am sure that the Navy Divers will become extremely efficient at recovering them from the Gulf.
I assume that the Sailors will be taught how to use them, just like riding a scooter !.

There are frequent reports of rubber tappers and Farmers being killed so their claim is correct. Elephants in the wild are unpredictable and it’s wise to keep away, of course some people protecting their crops try to scare them away with bad outcomes for both involved.

As an ex beekeeper nothing unusual about gathering a swarm without protection. When bees swarm they are usually quite docile and as long as you approach calmly your chances of being attacked are minimal. Locate and capture the Queen and the rest quietly follow, into a box and later into a hive, most useful insects on the planet.

Hate to say this but I have never had a problem with my IO, this only goes back six years so fingers crossed. Certificate of residence given with a smile and no fee, acceptance of my yearly income without question, no fuss and no bother, am I just lucky ?.

This is so confusing, who actually runs this country ?.
The Police seem to be above the law, the Army have the political control , the Navy have many land based revenue sources and the Judiciary just bends to the wind.
Thailand and its culture certainly is interesting.- 3

34,000 more debts, it amazes me how many people with insecure employment can ride around in the latest pickup when they live in a shack, priorities seem strange to me.

Why oh why does nearly every topic on this site turn into arguments and personal attacks. I once read about Thai visa being the site for frustrated and sad old men, let’s not justify that classification .

I have followed this post and have to say I think you are worrying about nothing. I have stored cars in Australia, similar climate and all I have done is pump up the tyres and fill the fuel tank. Keep it in the shade, leave the handbrake off, in gear or park if auto and buy a pair of jumper leads just in case. Do not mess about with the electronics, adding any aftermarket item these days requires a competent auto electrician.
I worked in a small garage in Queensland where we were known for being able to do most things however I could never get the service light to go off on Mazda saloons, only the authorised dealer with the computer program could do this, $40 a time.
Have a good trip and don’t worry.

I think China will make an offer for their jets that cannot be refused .
Why any country would spend so much on defence is a mystery, the much feared Russian Bear is getting a very painful greeting from a much smaller opponent .
Better ways to spend the money , I.e. education , health , social services etc.

I tend to have a morning ritual of skimming through many news outlets while drinking my coffee and over the last week I have been unable to update mailonline. Some will say that I am missing nothing of importance but I do find the sometimes radical opinions amusing.
I am wondering if this is censorship as the Daily Mail is not a favourite of the Establishment, anyone else having the same problems ?.

It was probably a relay , one question I have, is your windscreen heavily tinted ? I removed my windscreen tint and it was amazing how much my lights brightened.
Seriously I think if you can't see the occupants from the outside how the heck can they see out at night ?. a band of tint across the top is an asset and I have also halved the tint on the drivers side window to see the door mirror at night.
Regarding the reverse lights, an extra light added to the drivers rear never goes amiss when combined with the removed tint
