Some of us must be very lucky, touch wood.
I have just done my fourth marriage extension and every year it has got easier, the first year required Witnesses, the second year. only copy of kor ror 22 which I forgot, all fixed within twenty minutes by quick trip to Amphur. Last year was the proof of finances, Bank statement and copies of Transferwise receipts, all checked and accepted.
This year in at 8.30, I O wandered in with his coffee ten minutes later, handed over two sets of papers, and two not very flattering passport photos, he went through them and only asked a few questions but I had covered everything including source of Pensions, Bank letter and Statement only two days old, Transferwise receipts, all accepted . I then spent the next ten minutes signing every page, Wife only signed a couple of sheets he produced, signed another few forms and paid 2000baht, didn't bother about the 100 baht change.
Passport stamped for return 28 Aug for final stamp, out and off for breakfast at 9.50.

Unfortunately the most disappointing figurehead, she has achieved so little.
For years she was lauded as the possible reformer of a military cabal but it seems she has no influence or power.

I have bought quite a few items from Lazada and if I know what I want I always tick lowest prices first. You can find exactly the same item numerous times with an amazing range of prices, as said, buyer beware.
Just as an aside I bought four “Curren “ wristwatches for just over 100 baht total having had them before, they are very accurate but are pretty average quality and are good for a year or until the battery runs out, the same watch on eBay Australia is $79 , as said before, buyer beware.

Krabi getting good rainfall, most nights a substantial downpour and heavy showers in the day, making the grass grow well.

Hamilton starts first.
The cars go round & round for about two hours.
Hamilton finishes first.
How exciting!!!
I hate to agree but you are correct, long gone are the days when you could see the Drivers who drove according to their abilities, not team orders.

A very confusing tale, business class flights, bought house in Thailand, top class Hotels, bought expensive bikes. All came crashing down due to a moment of carelessness on a bike, now reduced to go fund me, as I said, confusing.

I cannot follow the reasoning of this decision, the man admitted guilt, the penalty was death according to law, and now they will continue the Lawyers feast. I often use the comment T I T to describe happenings in Thailand but the U S A often presents many instances defying logic...

I use DTAC and have traveled between Krabi and Kalasin in the last few years without any problems. All I ask is that it works at a reasonable speed for data and it is reliable, so far it does.

I have been using S C B easy on my iPad and phone without any problems.

This is starting to look serious, how long before they are stopped ?.
I watched the Hong Kong riots and must admit to completely forgetting the cause, only seeing the violence against the Police and the decent into complete lawlessness.
America has done the same, protests over a public killing of a not very nice person but still a person who deserved better, now simply terrorism in many cities and the Police as targets.
I was not here for the last coup but I don’t expect any gentle response from the Government, the record of using Military against Civilians is not very good, Protesters ...beware.

I live in Ao nang and say come on down, Hotels are opening and offering much better deals than the normal low season.
The beaches are still deserted and traffic is a fraction of normal, Restaurants are gradually opening and you will find plenty of good places to eat, if you want a couple of recommendations P M me. Don't forget its rainy season , we are very green at the moment...

This is not excusing his actions but at seventeen years old he had two choices, do as you are told or join them. Can anyone honestly say that they would have refused to do his job with the result being death, be honest, the regime he lived in had no mercy.

Probably the best Driver of the last few years but in my opinion will never rank as high in public opinion as Stirling Moss.
Should not mix sport with politics...

I’ve had Chikun Gunya.
Think it was served with rice.
When I had chikungunya I actually thought I’d had my chips.I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, it hurts and if you are an older person it lingers for ages. Cover up !

OJ got found not to be guilty of those crimes
That verdict was as predictable as the Mississippi civil rights murders, right place at the right time.

Isn't it sad that our ancestors in Victorian times flocked to the Freak shows where People with deformities, conjoined twins and others regarded as oddities were condemned to a life of being stared at by the paying public.
Today we just turn on the television with no charge.

The length of time between conviction and execution in the USA is astonishing. To delay the execution for years seems to be standard and I often wonder why this should happen.
This latest plea is at the least facetious and how a Lawyer could propose it is laughable, but I suppose that is his job, next they will be claiming he is afraid of needles so it is cruel and unjust punishment. -

Thai visa at its best, nothing but flippant comments. The Woman has stopped and got in the water saying she was calming down, far ,far better than driving in a bloody minded state with usual Thai results. I hope she finds a solution to her problems.

I read all these reports about fees for various services and shake my head at the blatant attitude of many offices. Nobody in power seems to care though I am sure it has been reported many times, big joke was the last chief who seemingly tried but where is he now. Luckily I live in the right place, my local Immigration only requires a polite request and a smile and a thank you five minutes later when they hand you the certificate.
Just counting I have had five over the past four years, no charge.

I woke up this morning, at my advanced age for that I am happy. Today has been good, had a ride to the shops ,drove past the beach, played in my mini garden and didn't get eaten by mosquitos.
I have given up worrying about the world, I cannot change it in the time I might have left instead every day is to be enjoyed by me. You could say that I am being selfish but I spent a great deal of my life looking out for others now is my time.
Enjoy life and stop overthinking it.

Better close the Guardian newspaper too as that was founded off the profits of the cotton trade.
The Manchester Guardian was founded by the blunt talking, very rich Northern Mill Owners and Industrialists as an answer to the “ foppish” Southerners newspapers , It reported on the state of the nation and the world in an exemplary manner for years. Now it is based in the South and has become the woke persons bible, in other words it has become the very thing it’s founders would have abhorred.

Drove back from Kalasin to Krabi last year with an esky full of live Crickets, threatened my Wife that if any escaped she had to eat them there and then. Issan has strange eating habits, shrimp that jump off the plate is a favourite.
