Compared with individuals vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, recipients of Sinovac-CoronaVac and Sinopharm were 2.37 (95% CI, 2.29-2.46) and 1.62 (95% CI, 1.43-1.85) times more likely to be infected with coronavirus disease 19, respectively, while individuals vaccinated with Moderna were 0.42 (95% CI, 0.25-0.70) times less likely to develop severe disease

Sinovac vaccines from China were the only game in town in February 2021 at a time when no other vaccines were available in Thailand. It wasn't great but there is no question it saved some lives, let's not knock Chinese covid vaccines too harshly.

Staying indoors also saved lives, as did masks, living up a tree and putting one’s head in a paper bag. The latter was more useful than the Chinese vaccines.

The Thai economy is already in big trouble. This may only add to the woes. This could have been avoided. Covid was a factor, but a small one. Mismanagement, malfeasance, gross incompetence, fear, hesitancy and extreme cowardice were  far bigger factors in the decimation. All this, despite the numbers being pumped out and likely fabricated.

You want evidence of the economic slowdown? Look at the 1000's of billboards nationwide that have remained blank. That represents a fortune companies are unwilling to spend here.

    Correct. I'm glad you agree.

A blatant case of filthy opportunism, taking a tragic incident and trying to guilt-shame schools for not investing in a probably worthless product.

Just as volvo did when it invented the seat belt .....and curses on all those airbags in cars that save lives but cost extra. Just terrible.
