the problem with your (admittedly sensible) idea is that if insurance is included by a special fee then the Thai insurer has little or no chance of rejecting you out of hand and leaving you with a bloody big bill.

who cares? they have lied about everything to do with the pandemic all year, so lying (or not) about vaccination figures isn't relevant. just look forward to the next election and pray that most thais now realise these incompetents need to go.
