Wow! Is it any wonder we Expats are tarnished with a Criminal brush. Another tick in our box to allow us to extend our Visa's with ease. If this is true then I am afraid he is toast!
-
Well done Mr. Kiwi giving the Expat more kudos to enable us to lead a peaceful life in the Kingdom. Hopefully we are not all Judged on this moron's behavior. If this is true then he needs to pay a heavy price for his violent behavior and if he is found guilty he pays the price!

Needs to be deported asap for his own safety before he hurts himself. What a juvenile who was obviously dragged up and has no idea that his extreme behavior will at some point land him in a sewer! Good luck!
-
Thankfully he has been apprehended before he commits more vile acts! Seemingly OAP's are not safe around children and as his actions are deplorable he needs to have his bits removed and pickled and placed in a Jar in his cell to remind him of his sickening sordid acts! As the saying goes "With Friends like him who needs enemies"

Barking up the wrong tree! Those that feel there was justification in his pretty insane lack of intelligence needed to be reminded this is not your Country and if you feel it's okay to attack an animal then please return to your Country of Origin where I am sure this behaviour is perfectly acceptable NOT!! What next wife beating? Child abuse? and it all starts with Dog abuse! Trespassing, Armed and Cruelty to an Animal all actions of a low level thinker!

This is Thailand in case you need reminding! So it's their Game and the Ball belongs to Thailand. So if you are not enjoying their game then please board the next Aircraft, Ferry or Taxi. Would you attend an Interview back in your Homeland in Beachwear? Disrespecting Thai Authorities simply adds fuel to fire of our safe passage so kindly do the right thing for the rest of us who wish to reside peacefully!

Always helpful to those that wish to live a quiet life and follow the rules. Wonder what charm school this imbecile attended? That's if he attended a school. More ammunition for Immigration authorities to rubber stamp our visa's.

American's disrespecting Thailand??? You would never have thought that they would be capable of such an unintelligent act of vandalism. I suppose in their defence they would say well we do it all the time in La La Land!

Sad and awful news! RIP Jean-Claude Dubus Arnaud.

This is the adverse publicity that Expats don't need as we are already walking a tight rope. Allegedly this clown owns/runs a business and waving a gun indiscriminately is going to attract punters?? Let's hope he enjoys his enforced stay in surroundings that perhaps may not meet his insane expectations!

Mate you're not going to make a difference so let "sleeping dogs lie" Enjoy the experience!
Just for the record at age 13 I was doing a Daily Paper Round and on a Saturday I worked in Fishmongers! Was I exploited?? I personally classed it as "Work Experience" and it gave me a 360 vision of reality!

is it any wonder The Thai Authorities are making it much more difficult for those of us who live a quiet life in peace! Surprised he did not say "I am American and I can do what I want" I mean kicking off for 200 Baht seriously??

The Thai's Authorities don't need any more excuses to make it difficult for innocent expats who live crime free in their Kingdom. This to me is evil and despicable but I am normal so I know nothing about Frenchie's sexual desires! He will be fine in nick to satisfy his needs but not sure if it's going to be enjoyable! <deleted>!!

My wife is Thai and my 2 daughters who are also Thais. Presently my eldest daughter has gained entry to Mahidol University starting in March this year. To-date we have had to fork out with University Entrance Fees Uniforms and Miscellaneous Uni costs. This is yet to include accommodation and living expenses. I am not sure what Daughter number 2 wishes to do? They have both attended English Programme Schools at a cost of 40,000 Baht per annum from a very young age. Just to remind the authorities that these 2 girls will be contributing to Thai Society mostly with £££££££ eventually. The expenditure so far is well in excess of a million Baht. My point is that to manage a family as an expat already comes at a costs and continually trying to bleed us dry simply makes no sense. Most expats I know spend all their cash flow in Thailand taking care of immediate family and extended family. Most of us respect the Country and avoid breaking any of its Process and Procedures. Why are we continually being penalised??

Her Doctor has asked the authorities to return her to his Clinic as she has missed taking her medication!
Darling rules are rules so what bit of 7 Kilo's is the max for hand baggage didn't you understand. Throwing a hissy fit is only going to get you barred from travelling FOREVER! She should have said "Do you know who I am" that could have helped!!

I'm afraid you can't legislate for who you fall for. As a Black Brit of Old Age who' has never dated a Black Lady period in my 50 plus years of living in England I don't go out thinking oh she is white oh she is black or she looks Chinese or she is from a Village. You fall for whoever and the person who said "I don't care just bring them on" has the right idea! Somebody did say "Variety is the Spice of life" This has been written as an opinion without malice.

Oh dear The Sherlock Holmes Academy out in force with their expertise in The Art of Crystal Ball readings. However one statement did strike me as nice and positive "Congratulations young woman. Hope you can fulfil your ambitions in Canada and achieve a joyous future."

So no free entries to Zoo's Museums Bouncy Castles cheaper weekends for families in Hotels and Seaside Resorts. Instead we bring the Military Power out to show Children. Yep that a sensible move!

Why are we speculating? Nobody knows what initiated his assault but seemingly attacking females seems to be epidemic world wide!! I am not being sanctimonious but hitting anyone let alone a lady should receive a stiff sentence. This perhaps may send a message to would be macho types that believe this is acceptable!

Taking a step backwards and if Mr Chinaman behaved as instructed by the Authorities then Mr Security Man would not have intervened and it would not have escalated into this unnecessary punch up! Unfortunately the behaviour of some of these "Tourists" can be fundamentally flawed as they are under the assumption that their currency rules the world. This is not the first and I do believe it will not be the last.

Danger not only lurks on Roads but your life is in danger walking on pavements which are meant for Pedestrians but utilized by Motor Bikes. This occurrence is truly sad when someone is killed whilst on tour however tourists should be warned that there are allegedly 60 plus deaths on Thailand's Roads daily. RIP lady.
