What's next?
Only a matter of time until sneezing in a public space is considered sufficient to get you kicked out of a venue and potentially incarcerated.
I wish I was joking.
Well, people taking off their mask to sneeze...

My friends on Samui tell me things are picking up. That is a good thing for everyone. Happy to see that. May it continue.
On Sunday the airport was crowded

Pattaya. On the mainland to the east of Bangkok. Pre Covid times it had a large entertainment area.
As been living in Pattaya now for three months after 12 years on Samui.
Don't stay in the city (bad air).
Take a look at the Bang Saray 40 min south of the city, got a Samui wibe.

Surely they all had to have a 72 hour pre-flight, negative resulting PSR test before boarding? That's why there were no positives on arrival.
So who certifies the PCR tests.
My PCR test in Sweden was to spit in a tube at a beauty parlor.
Anyone can issue a PCR certificate, biggest scam around.

Is it the case that once you have a restaurant license, you cease to be able to operate as a bar? Eg. no live music.
It's just another piece of paper on the wall, you can have as many as you want, bar, restaurant, massage shop, live music.

No inspection?
No visit to premises?
No check of vaccination status of staff
No measurement of seating areas.
Pattaya is not Samui
Was asked about restaurant licensing, not SHA certification

How to get a license?
Where from?
How long does it take?
How much?
What is the process?
How long does it last?
Haven't done it in Pattaya, but here's the procedure on Samui.
Apply at the revenue office, (company or Thai national)
30 min.
1200 baht.
One year license

Just bought a test, took it and registered it on their website.
Now I'm saving the test and take a photo of the same test and upload it every 3 days.
