As long as you have a vaccine certificate, Thailand will accept mixed vaccines.

Even if you get TP, you will be asked by immigration to make a new, proper booking.
Thailand pass, COE and hole this circus is the brainchild of the MFA.
Immigration are not involved.

How many Thai license holders would realistically have a chance of passing an American/European driving test‽
I was not allowed to transfer my Thai MC license to a Swedish one when I tried two years ago.

Doi Chiang Dao is nice.
But you can't climb it without a two day trek.
For convenience drive to doi Angkhang in Amphur Fang.
Perfect for what you are looking for.

Thailand pass is the brainchild of the MFA.
MFA and Immigrations are like two old sisters not speaking to each other because of an argument they had 50 years ago.

It also means Thai Immigration is working on weekends
Thai Immigrations has nothing to with Thailand Pass.
This is the brainchild of the MFA, Ministry of Foreign affairs.
Your application was handled by your local consulate.
But yes , Immigrations work on weekends or the airports and borders would have to close.

Well if that's what keeps the authorities happy so be it!!
My test one and half month ago in Sweden was to spit in a tube at a beauty parlor.
Made the Thai authorities happy.
Guess I can reuse it, just change the date in Photoshop.

maybe a PCR test 72 hours prior to flying
As long as this is not regulated it's just a piece of paper.

Tested prior to flight
My test before flying was to spit in a tube at a beauty parlor.
Paid for PCR test and got my certificate same day.
There's no regulation about what certificates are accepted.
It's the biggest scam going on right now.
Pay some cash for a certificate without them actually testing.
I took my test in Sweden so it's not a third world country.
One company got busted in Sweden for issuing 100.000 phony certificates in June.
I flew in September and feel my test probably also was fake.

Think the CCP is reluctant to allow ordinary Chinese to travel abroad again.
They brought back ideas like democracy and unmanly behavior.
In the future we will only see members of the party travel abroad.
But the again they are the super rich.

Tourist faces huge bill, separation from family after testing positive on arrival in Thailand

Or the preboarding test was fake.
In June a Swedish company got caught issuing 100.000 fake PCR certificates.
They just pocketed the test money and never did any tests.
Neat profit for more than 350 Mbaht for this company alone.
This market is unregulated, anyone can issue a PCR certificate.
