He's been on Samui since 1974.

While I doubt this is what happens, logically (if a 14-day Covid insurance was accepted for the COE) you ought to be stamped in for a 14-day permission to stay. Obviously, at the current time, a 14-day stay would be crazy.
Got my 90 days.
As usual there's no communication between MFA and immigration.

Has anyone who applied through the London Embassy been asked for proof of a return ticket? I was hoping that a one-way ticket would be sufficient.
Think the problem is that you must have covid insurance for your total stay.
I bought a refundable ticket to Singapore after 14days

That is certainly not normal.
The rules state has to be valid for the length of stay that you get when you enter the country.
That's why I bought my refundable ticket to Singapore after 14days

Really ? I’m an Emirates member, but had thought/ seen that it was only valid for the duration of visa, which in my case is tourist visa 60 days which I’ll extend . I’ll call to ask.
Up to 365days

In another thread I read that if you fly with Emirates they'll include insurance asked for the COE for your entire stay or 31 days if on a one way ticket.
I wish I knew this before flying in.
Basically you buy return after 365 days and you're covered a full year.

The consulate here told me I have to have the required medical insurance for my entire stay, or until my visa expires. This same thing has been reported by many members here.
You also need covid coverage for your first month.
Stockholm embassy was ok with my 14days insurance.

Perhaps, apply for the COE.
They will not deny you but ask for the ticket.
I think my problem was that I applied for the COE before I got my B-visa.

Hi Poos Sucker and thanks for sharing. Can you say, how much you paid for the three PCR tests of for one?
8000 baht.
For my COE application phuket sandbox there's no option than using this site as you need receipt for all three tests when applying for the COE.

They didn't ask me for proof where I have been at the Stockholm embassy.
I did however apply for the the COE before I got my B-visa so perhaps that's why they demanded return ticket.
The Stockholm embassy will issue an e-visa if you need it.
No need to travel to the embassy.
