Yeah, I am sure they could find a lovely thai guiding them into an expensive rathole and let's just not think about what else could happen, should we remember about the farang brit lady that has been recently raped??? Normally I would recommend an authorized service, but I am afraid it would be impossible, I can't see how would the authorities legalize an advice service for where to go after 1AM

This is still bull**it, I don't see any news in a farang lying down drunk on the street. I can't realize how could somebody wake up in the night, just to take a picture with a drunk person...
I would really like to take that journalist for a drink sometimes and show him what could happen after a few drinks...I saw people doing even more crazier things after a few drinks
Almost forgot, I have a message for that journalist:
GET YOURSELF A JOB...A REAL ONE!!!

WOW, Flash news, this is not friendly, this is chaotic and outrageous. While you are at work back home, you really can't afford going to bed later than 11 or 12 o'clock. Now you come on Holiday and you are facing a bartneder that's telling you to go to sleep at 1 am. This is communism. Are they trying to turn Pattaya and Thialand into a global prison?

When will all this sh1it will get to an end? Pattaya is a resort, touriss cime here, people on vacations, do they really have to hear the explanation about Thaksin being crazy? I mean, there are people that can only afford one vacation in one year what did they do wrong???

it'a a matter of thai culture and civilization...so calculations are simple, civilized thais with civilized thais, civilized faranangs with uncivilized thai girls, uncivilized faranangs with uncivilized thai girls, but never un/civilized farangs with civilized thais, that's the way it is.
I once knew a red neck Yank who had been bumming around the South Pacific for a few years before stumbling into the South of Thailand, where he beach combed for a few more years before turning up-at a radio station we were running in Bangkok, begging for work as a DJ. He had hair down to his waste and was covered in tattoos. I guess you’d call him somewhat uncivilized.. He met; fell in love with and married (at The Oriental) a lovely young Thai lady from an extremely rich Thai family. In fact, the lady was a Thai princess, spoke perfect English and was VERY civilized. So she certainly didn’t marry for money – and he wasn’t even good looking – just a fat unruly nerd who sported long hair and horn rimmed glasses.
But he did have something she wanted - an American passport – and she wanted to live in the good old US of A. So did her brothers and sisters. His wandering days were over. Its 25 years since I last saw him – probably founded a ‘leuk kreung’ dynasty. So, as I've previously stated, nothing it's for free in Thailand, there must be the means to step up dor a thai lady to merry a farang. I honestly wish I am wrong and find myself after years and years remembering about the times I was being stupid to think like this about thais, I'd really wish that...

Local journalist attacked by drunken German Tourist in North Pattaya.
A fascinating case now from Soi 2 in North Pattaya, a popular area for foreigners who enjoy the many beer bars which can be found there. Police arrived to find a heavily intoxicated man, identified as Mr. Jens Willy Lemnitz aged 51 from Germany, lying on the side of the road. The original call made to police indicated the man had failed to pay for food and drink at the Doy Beer Bar.
A group of journalists accompanied the Police and as they were recording the incident Mr. Lemnitz suddenly stood up and walked towards a journalist working for the Pattaya People organization and punched him in the face. He retaliated with a kick to the face of Mr. Lemnitz. Eventually Police managed to place Mr. Lemnitz on the back of a rescue truck and he was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he faces charges relating to a variety of public order offences and assault on the journalist.

I agree with the assault on the journalist, in the end, what was so spectacular about a drunk german? Was it really that interesting to know what happened. It's easy, he got drunk and obviously stupid and failed to pay his bill. The journalist was just there to immortalize the glorious moments of the police in it's effort to pick up a smacked down drunk man, is all this show worth a journal event???

Does your comment makes you sleep safer and better? We all know that a farang in a thai family is the sokopok ATM. I haven't seen too many good family thai ladies merrying a farang, we're all in the same pot, it's hard to face it, but the truth isn't sweet all the time
Can't really disagree with that.
My wife had a swimming/barbeque party with a few of her friends -all young female Thais. A farang mate of mine came round to enjoy the sights. As he had recently been ripped off right good and proper by a certain young lady from Nong Khai (that's after being married for 5 years) he enquired if any of the ladies at the pool were rich - if so he might be interested. I passed the enquiry onto my wife.” Don’t be silly, no rich Thai lady is going to marry a farang!!!", came the honest reply. Actually I do know of a few ladies from good families who have married farangs – but they are few and far between.
Everybody would be happy to be wellcomed with a real and not a fake thai smile and respect, but this is pretty much all you get, your wallet gets respected, you don't, it'a a matter of thai culture and civilization...so calculations are simple, civilized thais with civilized thais, civilized faranangs with uncivilized thai girls, uncivilized faranangs with uncivilized thai girls, but never un/civilized farangs with civilized thais, that's the way it is. Don't they have laws in Thailand to safeguard the public and prevent lunitics from disrupting good order and dicipline of society in this fashion?
If he wants to give his life for his beliefs thats his business but he should not ask others to die along side him.

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said on Saturday that he will not quit as long as His Majesty the King does not tell him to go.
"The only person who can tell me to quit is His Majesty the King. If His Majesty whispers to me that 'Thaksin please leave, then I'll go," Thasin said during his weekly radio programme Saturday morning.
When will that going to happen? I think the King is the heart of Thailand, unfortunately a weakened one, I am praying for his health and ask him to keep up the good work and eventually invite the thief to step down
