  1. The US dropped leaflets telling the Japanese civilians to evacuate. LeMay leaflets Read this carefully as it may save your life or the life of a relative or friend. In the next few days, some or all of the cities named on the reverse side will be destroyed by American bombs. These cities contain military installations and workshops or factories which produce military goods. We are determined to destroy all of the tools of the military clique which they are using to prolong this useless war. But, unfortunately, bombs have no eyes. So, in accordance with America’s humanitarian policies, the American Air Force, which does not wish to injure innocent people, now gives you warning to evacuate the cities named and save your lives. America is not fighting the Japanese people but is fighting the military clique which has enslaved the Japanese people. The peace which America will bring will free the people from the oppression of the military clique and mean the emergence of a new and better Japan. You can restore peace by demanding new and good leaders who will end the war. We cannot promise that only these cities will be among those attacked but some or all of them will be, so heed this warning and evacuate these cities immediately. https://ahf.nuclearmuseum.org/ahf/key-documents/warning-leaflets/#:~:text=In August 1945%2C leaflets were, before the bombing of Hiroshima.

  4. Your best bet would be to go ask a competent attorney. Initial consultations are usually free, even in Thailand.
  5. I had to go to Pattaya Beach rd last weds and was surprised to see there were cars parked on the beach side. I have to back on Monday, is it legal to park my car there now?

  7. Back in the 80's, when someone gave you their word, or made a promise it meant something. Now people lie as easily as look at you. So yes, I think people were better back then.
  8. It's way past time for a balanced budget amendment. Unfortunately, the idiot politicians in DC can't stop arguing about nonsense long enough to get anything done.
  9. Isn't polygamy legal?
  10. Real short time, off and on for 30 years. I just don't sweat the small stuff.

Ok, thanks for the info. Sony still has the best picture, no matter who makes their parts.
  12. I love it here. With the exception of some food I miss, there is nothing I can't get here. Don't understand why people complain so much about Thailand. But maybe they just wouldn't be happy anywhere.

Sony has the best picture, IMHO
  14. I like sitting in Pattaya.
  15. IMHO Trump has no chance to win the general election. The never-Trumpers voted him out last time, and that was before Jan 6th, and his overall behavior since the election, so I'm sure there's even more that would never vote for him now.
  16. No, it's a few doors down from runway, same owner. He's been trying to sell that bar since before covid. He's asking over 2 mil, no takers.
  17. Your wife must be a very patient woman. Is she ashamed that she is Thai?
  18. Don't know where your from but in my country, we have corruption, division, incompetency, fake media, hatred, high taxes, high inflation, dishonest politicians, and just an overall distrust for anyone with power. Luckily I live in Thailand, where I don't have to worry about what goes on in my country anymore. Since I'm just a guest in this country, I would never presume to criticize my host politics, that's their business not mine. Have you ever considered the reason for the average Thai's attitude towards Farangs changing for the worse over the years, is because we stick our nose where it doesn't belong.
  19. Who are we to judge?
  20. I'm sorry to say, but Biden seems more incompetent every day that goes by.
  21. Over 300 million people in the US, and the voters get stuck with Biden vs Trump part 2? Pretty sad.
  22. Yep, and a brand new car should cost 10,000 baht. I'm dreaming too, 555 Seriously though, have you ever grown indoors? Just the electric here will cost you more than 30 baht a gram.
  23. The supporting evidence is the emails on Hunter's laptop, and the bank statements.
