The places in the UK where you should proceed with caution are T Junctions with double dashed lines
I fail to understand your point. It seems that you don't understand traffic lights and probably don't drive and you are Thai bashing

Anybody could tell you to never ever enter a cross road or T intersection immediately upon a green light. Wait at least 3 seconds and check left and right.
Many 18 wheelers I see in my central province highway 340, either flick their lights or blast the air horn before flying through a 5 second red light.🙃🙃

Am I still correct that they are limited to 49% of the business?
They lease the bar in general not unless
they buy it in the wife/girlfriends name which has led to a few disasters and penniless foreigners.

Wikipedia,
Wrong. In the UK, normal traffic lights follow this sequence: Red – Stop, do not proceed. Red and Amber – Get ready to proceed, but do not proceed yet. Green – Proceed if the intersection or crossing is clear; vehicles are not allowed to block the intersection or crossing.
Highway Code,Green: You can go if it is safe to do so. Give way to any pedestrians who are crossing. Amber: Stop. If you have already crossed the stop line when the amber light appears or are positioned close to the stop line where stopping may be dangerous, you should proceed.

Don't get it, does it mean that containers would be unloaded on one side and reloaded on the other. Sounds a bit like wanting to become Panama without getting a Frenchman to dig the Canal. And the Malaysian peninsula isn't South America. Or did I miss something?
I think the main reason they don’t want a canal is because it would be a physical barrier dividing Thailand and i believe some Southern Muslim provinces want independence.

Subsequent investigation by the press at the Huai Chin Singh municipal office revealed that the truck had a green light during the incident.
Not sure what the rules are elsewhere but the green light in the U.K. means go if the way ahead is clear not carte blanche to proceed just because it’s a green light.

I don't see anybody except police and girls in blue uniforms, and a few other disparate Thais. In the main article, there are a lot of maps and what have you, but not much else. What exactly were they discussing? Any minutes available?
How much it’s going to cost to stay open till 4am ?

The utter carelessness on the roads continues- just like the Thai’s I’ve become numb to it..
If only there were a way to resolve such as effective training, effective policing & and effective follow up legal system….
Effective training is a waste of time, the majority wouldn’t listen, effective policing, I regularly see people run red lights, the policeman in the box never bothers.
CCTV at every traffic light to catch the offenders that is if their vehicle is registered.
-
So they are going to unload containers at one end reload to a different vessel at the other end for its onward journey, surely a canal is the better option ?

Not many if any foreigners in the photo, do foreigners not own or run businesses in Pattaya ?

YouTuber did this one, looks ok,

Jomitien and few others ...
CM another, just want to feel special.
Just Rogue offices.
The change in TM30 requirements were very clear June 2020.
All folk can do it comply with their own immigration office.
I agree but why do they keep moving the goalpost, we all thought we were moving forward when they ditched the TM6, 2 steps forward 1 back now, It’s not as if the TM 30 generates any cash only from owners who don’t comply with it.
I asked my owner for the receipt, it was obvious he hadn’t done one and he said cost him ฿500 via a ‘friend’ for a receipt.

A colleague was at Jomtien today for a Re Entry Permit, the I.O. informed him even though he has a ‘Retirement Visa and lived at the same for years when he returns to Thailand he has to report to Immigration, is this an old rule they have reintroduced ?
-
Looks like they knock you out in Thailand which would add to the cost, in the U.K. you get the choice, I decided on staying awake and used gas and air once when it was uncomfortable. I watched the whole process on the TV screen above the bed.

At Central Festival in Pattaya you enter by the main doors from Second Road and pass through a scanner which is unmanned. You can walk into the Beauty shop no scanner from 2nd Road pass through it straight into the Mall avoiding the scanner, farce comes to mind.

They wear cheap drab clothes because they're cheap drab people. That, and they're probably afraid of being called gay if they turn up in anything other than a well worn Singha wife-beater.
It'll be a cold day in Hell before I subject myself to such lack of imagination ever again.

Get your facts right Chang is wife neater, great news you won’t be hanging about vetting people as they go into Cheap Charlie’s, we can relax now and carry on wearing our drab clothing

Went there once in December 2021 just to see what all the fuss was about.
Totally dispiriting experience. Cheap decor, cheap "fallung" in their Pattaya uniform of cheap drab wife-beaters, cheap drab cargo pants and cheap drab shower shoes.
My waitress also looked thoroughly dispirited, perhaps because the of the drab black and white Cheap Charlie uniform she was required to wear.
No desire to go back and even less desire to interact with the clientele, even if they are all salt of the earth, diamond in the rough types (allegedly).
Maybe the clientele can only afford the cheap drab clothing and shower shoes, not everyone is a millionaire. You must walk about blindfolded in Pattaya the attire you describe is what the majority of what foreigners wear more so the shower shoes.
Do you walk about with a 3 piece suit, be interesting to know your dress attire ?

Yes more so you don’t know the clientele personally who eat in Cheap Charlie’s and you probably have never set foot in the place, do you stand outside scanning the clientele as they come and go ?

The name is wrong, the clientele are wrong and the ambience is wrong. That's the "Soi Bukow" location, I couldn't bring myself to visit the "Jomtiem" branch on my last visit there from Bangkok to do my TM47.
Give me Sportsman on Soi 13 or give me death. Or Mama noodles 😂
You don’t pay for the ambience, that’s why the prices are reasonable, I have had Guinness in there and I can’t see why you make such a rude comment about the clientele, do you know any of them personally, you are very judgemental and snobbish.

imagine if Thailand helped to capture Putin
They would be afraid of getting ‘nuked’
TBH the security would be unreal as they are loads of Russians and Ukrainians here who wouldn’t mind a pop at Putin that is if the real Putin turned up not one of his stunt doubles.
