  3. Pain like pins and needles are characteristics for nerve pain/damage. I would go to a neurologist. First diagnostic step would propably be to do a Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studie to assess nerve damage or misfiring.
  4. In Bangkok BNH has a cannabis clinic with a neurologist on site. They seem to use the GPO medical cannabis products.
  5. Interesting that they work for you for sleeping, I assume you just take them as needed? The first couple of weeks they really nocked me out but now I don't get this effect anymore.

  8. Hello, a couple of days ago I went to a Thai massage. Now I got pain in the left neck and shoulder plate. I also developed tingling and numbness on my left hand. Im getting worried and want to have it checked. Can you recommend a doctor to consult, if possible in bumrungrad as they have all my records etc. Thank you in advance.
  9. Are you Overweight? A fatty liver can cause the liver enzymes to raise. A ultrasound shows normal in the early stages.
  10. Hello, for some small issues like a common cold or even a flu people tend to go to pharmacy to get diagnosed and get the medication. In some cases I would feel more comfortable seeing a doctor without the need to go to the hospital. Are there any small Clinics you can recommend? Preferably soi buakhao or around central marina. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thank you, will try them!

  15. @OneMoreFarang Did you ask your HR department (not the insurance) if they have some agreement with the insurance to keep existing conditions covered (normally with a high premium e.g +xx%) when leaving the group insurance and move to an individual plan?
  16. Sorry a bit off topic. In Europe the "baby aspirin" dosage for blood thinning purposes is mostly 100mg. Thailand and US seems to be 81mg. Why this difference and is it significant?
  17. I can recommend Dr. Suntchai Wirotsaengthong which is also on the list. He did by far the most diagnostic testing in my case after trying out other urologist before.

  22. Hello, back in my home country they did a Lupus anticoagulant blood test which came back "slightly positive". They recommend a second test 12 weeks later which will be soon. I'm looking for a doctor recommendation in Bangkok for the Antiphospholipid Syndrome, preferably in Bumrungrad as they have all my records there already. The original test was done by a neurologist but online resources are pointing to a rheumatologist or hematologist for this condition.
  23. I'm sorry about your condition. You can try amitryptylin it is cheap as generics are available and you can take it for chronic nerve pain. Also Thiogamma 600, it might be expensive in Thailand but I want to have it mentioned as its especially used for diabetic neuropathy. I think it's more a supliment then a medicine. When you try new medication please consult a doctor for proper dosage.
  24. Recently I was at a skin cancer screening in my home country. They used a camera and checked each mole. The doctor explained me what to look for and because of the camera zoom and a huge monitor it was easy to identify suspicious moles. Not a lot experience seem to be required. Do I miss something?
  25. Thank you for beeing considered of others. Have to be said. ????
