SAS Shooting of Four IRA Men in 1992 Ruled Unjustified
Sir Dude replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Why aren't the IRA's atrocities being brought to book too? There are plenty of them too... or is it just the normal lefty nonsense BS that covers for their misdeeds? -
Again, another example of Labour's ill-thought-out student union ideological class politics that will simply cost the taxpayer more in the long run, on top of crashing the economy as if that isn't enough. Starmer and his incompetent cabinet need to learned the idea of realpolitik on numerous topics. Labour have had 15 years to get a plan together and they have nothing to offer other than going back to the 70s... facepalm.

Only dumb-ass entitled moron people try this drug trafficing nonsense in such places... Bali isn't the far-lefty UK or other such place administered by deluded muppets. Most sensible countries consider class A drugs and theft/looting etc. as serious offences, and rightly so, as they undermine some of the fundamental rights to society (like the right to property and the protection of it, or public safety) that holds society together and enables organised crime. Once you no longer enforce these laws and let it go feral, then dystopian chaos ensues and society becomes ill. Why? Well, there is no point in doing anything normal or behaving in an accepted way if some oxygen thief can just rock up and take what they want with no consequences or just deal illegal substances openly... no point in working, respecting the law, having a family, saving for the future, paying taxes etc. etc. if the authorities won't protect you, the community, and your efforts. Everywhere that forgets this descends in a mess and the cure is often unpalatible, even if the results are stunning... for example, El Salvador, from the most dangerous country in the world to the safest in a matter of 6 months, because they let the rot go too far, and many places doing the same... but not places like Indonesia. You have to remember that places like Indonesia are Muslim countries and they take a very dim view of such things... even if their males constantly cross the border with places like Thailand to party and go to bars with women etc. because they can't do it at home.

Funny, any thread that is about the Tories or Reform, even the slightest unwoke thing or statement, and hundreds of far-lefty posters go post-crazy trying to put the boot in throwing words like fascist/nazis/far right extremists yada yada yada as much as possible. When it comes to a racist hate crime like this from a vile sneering far-lefty, who should be charged and jailed like the opposite political offenders swiftly are and would be, then there is an sinister and deafeningly stunning silence... with the best that our lefty brigade posters can muster is a tepid "Withdraw the whip and slap his wrist" nonsense. The left-wing bias on here is a joke... What if I told you there was such a thing as far-left fascism and that anything slightly right of Stalin isn't "far right". Haha.

Salman Rushdie Prepares to Confront His Attacker in Court
Sir Dude replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Nice cherry picking... lol, one sentence out of context. -
On this one I completely agree with Trump and it's awful what has been allowed to happen to women's rights regarding this... a no-brainer really. Just as things were getting better for women in general, along comes a bunch of aggressive men wearing dresses with pink hair demanding to use the same toilets as underage girls, humiliate real women in sports, act violently toward anyone who disagrees and those holding the power in society and institutions just shrug their shoulders and let it happen... ludicrous and criminal really.

Salman Rushdie Prepares to Confront His Attacker in Court

Islam as a religion is going to drastically change, and brainwashed fools like this guy will get a rude awakening. Why? Well, Islam is going to fundamentally change because of the internet. When you look back in time, what the printing press did to Christianity, the internet will do to Islam. Long ago, the Bible was originally in Greek, and St. Jerome translated it into Latin around the end of the 4th century AD, and thus almost no-one could read it unless a scholar or well-educated preist that would spend all of his time trying to decipher the message, then articluate it to the followers in church... which meant that they had control over the narrative and message, people couldn't just read it and decide for themselves, unlike now. The printing press destroyed all that in the 13th-14 century and it was translated by Theologian John Wycliffe (c. 1320s–1384), and mass produced in English taking away the strict control of the message by the Catholic church. The same goes for the Quran, it's written in Quranic Arabic, which is different to the Arabic of today, so you need clerics or scholars to divine its message as the cleric sees fit, and then pass it on in the sermons on a Friday etc., this is how they assert control over the religion and its followers. The printing press never really affected the Middle East much, but the internet will turn that all on its head, and is doing so. Muslims are in for a rough ride over the next few decades as people will begin to question the text, as has happened to the Bible, and will be dragged kicking and scream into the modern world... which it cannot escape. -
The T-14 tank is a bluff. Russia likes to present its major tech and ability, but it's all a front and bluff, and it's been exposed in the Ukraine war... not real. Since the Bolshevik revolution a hundred years ago, the Russian government has gutted the armed forces so that it does not pose a threat to the political class or situation if there is ever a vacuum to be filled... that's why the Russian armed forces are such a corrupt and logistal mess... it's by design, along with all the purges. Notice how after every war there is a slew of mysterious deaths of generals that have contributed to the victory... once they win, then there is a cull. This can be seen after all the major wars from early Soviet times all the way up to the present. The Kremlin intentionally keeps the Russian army is disarray on purpose, so that it can't challenge their power. Nato has sweet FA to fear conventionally from Russia, they are an incompetent rabble with guns... and they won't go nuclear, as they will sign their own destruction if they do. All gas and no trousers.

Lammy is an embarrassment and liability, that has managed to cuss and insult almost everyone with his nonsense... not fit for office, like the rest of the Liebour government. He is a fool and the disgraced Mandleson, who had to resign twice for his misdeeds, will be dismissed rightly so as woke far-lefty idiots by the Trump administration... sooner Liebour are gone, the better.

What are the deluded talking about, there is no "integration", as what you get is sectarianism (religious or otherwise)... it's a lefty narrative myth that runs against the reality on the ground. There are good reasons why many countries resist full migration, like Thailand/Japan/many others, without serious controls... and the UK/EU is a great example and cautionary tale of the dangers. So obvious that even Stevie Wonder can see it... but somehow the UK/EU governments can't because the delusion is strong in such places.

Well, that's going to go down like a lead balloon. I see that there doesn't seem to be much point having Gaza as it is, basically a huge open prison, where it is, and just going back into the previously done cycle of destroy-rebuild-destroy-rebuild-destroy again as these two simply are having too much of a hard time being neighbours. Something radical might have to be tried, like maybe just give them and equivalent sized piece of land ajacent to the West Bank and move them all there, plus give the West Bank government funding to build housing and infrastructure... but even then, it'll be a hard sell.

Russia, and its economy is in deep do-do. Russia's demographic situation is terrible, same problem in China, Japan and South korea etc. If you want to look into the falling population crisis in places like Russia, then go watch some of the geopolitical anaysis by Peter Zeihan on YouTube... very good stuff. As for Russia's economy, it's got to the point where it can't really afford to lose the war, or win it. If it loses the war, then it's done, if it wins the war, then it can't afford to rebuild the territory it has taken and its war economy will suddenly wind down creating havoc. Many observers are saying that Russia is suffering from what is known as "Dutch disease" (basically, the sudden rapid over-development and reliance on/of one sector of an economy, like natural resourses, at the decline of others... thus sparking lots of problems). There is also a problem of brain drain in Russia as all the well-educated scientists and engineers from the Soviet times and quality educational institutions from back in the day are dying out, and the Russian universities are not what they used to be. The economy is Putin's achillies heel because if the oligarths and elites aren't making money, then he's not upholding his end of the deal, which was that you can get rich and keep it if you stay out of politics. On top of that, it is the intelligence agencies like the FSB who decide what happens and who runs what (and Putin is from that group too). If the elites and intelligence agencies decide Putin is no longer their man... well, anything could happen. Russia's economy is overheating due the churning military producion industrial complex and inflation is way out of control, probably a lot worse than official figures say, and the currency is becoming worthless... with China and its Yuan that can only help so far as the Chinese are worried about secondary sanctions being placed on it. Russia is in big trouble and it is a vast country to hold together with so many minorities that are hardly in love with Moscow. Russia could easily fragment into like 30 countries if it goes properly south. However, this is all of Putin's own making due to him chasing the long held ambitions of previous rulers of Russia... all about securing the entry points to the vast open plains and steppes of central Russia. Russia has long sort natural barriers as protection from invasion, and during the Soviet Union's time they controlled all of them (think there are 7). This is why the Russians are so interested in the Caucuses as that is one, Moldova is another and that's on the other side of Ukraine, Poland and Estonia are another (think the Suwalki Gap to Kaliningrad etc.). It is these places Putin wants to control as it then makes invasion of the Russian interior almost impossible and this is what is fueling the Russian aggression... look what happened in Operation Barbarossa in WW2. Why now? Putin knows that time is running out and that the demographic and economic time bomb will mean that delay will equal they won't be able to do it later, it's try now or it will never happen. "Times they are a changin" and the newer generations aren't interest in imperial conquest so much... look how many young and talented Russians have fled as they have no interest in war. There are few things as dangerous as the nostalgia of old men.

Thais Reject Casino Complex and Online Betting Plans Poll Shows
Sir Dude replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well, the idea of legalizing gambling so that it can be taxed etc. is all sound on paper, but you all know what the caveats are. It's also true that Thailand is losing potential tourist and gaming revenue to its neighbours as they all allow gambling to lesser or greater extents... so, in theory, good idea. Trouble is, as we all know, there will be massive abuse and shadowy criminality that surrounds such activities, especial in these countries round here, which the authorities simply won't be able to tackle other than on a superficial level with symbolic busts to show they are attempting to control it, but in reality it will be a feeding frenzy of financial crime, scamming, and slavery... plus the age-old problem of "corruption finds a way". As said, good idea in theory... but when that theory hits reality, then it will be a comical failureon most levels, but good for crime bosses and the rich, which is par-for-course in such places. Good luck with that. -
Simple really, get a tax number, file a return that excludes what is covered by DTAs and see what happens... they will believe it or not. Not having a TIN and not filing a return may raise red flags, but filing one should let you fly low under the radar. It's very hard to monitor the millions of small transactions and ATM withdrawals that happen every day... and they have to monitor the Thais who these new rules are really for. If you want to bring in a large amount of money for something to purchase like a condo, big living money, or nice car etc., then just suck it up for one year and not be a tax resident, and bring it in during that year whilst visiting friends or family wherever/work in your home country, then become a tax resident the next year in Thailand and carry on as normal... ta-da, no tax on what you bring in.
-
It's actually pretty simple if you want to bring in money, just not be a tax resident for a year, bring in what you want... then become one (tax resident) next year, then ta-da and everything is okay. Rinse and repeat every time you need to bring in large amounts of cash. Problem is, this stupid policy will catch all the normal people like teachers/retirees etc. that it was not designed to catch... and the rich will be able to avoid it. Once again, an ill thought out policy that will backfire... morons.

Plane stupid! Australian man’s flight crash threat lands him in jail
Sir Dude replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
He will have time to mullet over during his eight weeks in jail. -
Starmer won't let there be an inquiry because he was in charge of the CPS at the time (Saville problem too), and if the truth comes out, then he would clearly have to resign... that's why they won't let justice prevail and the truth come out. Rotten to the core, and Starmer is incompetent plus an accessory to these crimes through his inaction.
