  1. Oh no, I know plenty about that totalitarian communist sanctuary, and don't need to justify myself to you. Again, please post relevent and meaningful discussion on post content, rather than just personal insults, which is against the forum rules.
  2. Clearly your comprehension levels are compromised... but I would expect nothing less though from a CCP apologist. As usual with you lot, it's attack the poster, not the content. Please come up with an argument that is credible to what was posted rather than just insulting the other poster... if not, then that is the height of failure.
  3. If you think that the CCP bot farms are not targeting ASEAN Now with properganda, then you are deluded. They are targeting everywhere and every online outlet from Youtube to this forum to anywhere they can try to bend opinion... paying people to do it too. How deluded some people are.
  4. Nice cherry picking of one sentence and the one-child policy only ended like in 2010, but Chinese people aren't interested in the CCP's U-turn... damage has already been done. Looks like the pro-CCP bots on here won't like the truth in that post and will deny everything... hope they are getting paid enough.
  5. Time for the silly nutjobs to stand down... keep on bombing these morons until they do.
  6. And, of course, we all supposed to just believe this and move on... nothing to see here (lift carpet and sweep). How convenient!
  7. Something many forget is that the US has a better demographic situation than China has, and it is all of China's own making with the one-child policy etc. As people age, there are fewer younger Chinese to replace those working late into their 50/60s and beyond (some say the Chinese pension system will collapse in about 10 years). Not to mention that the CCP's reputation is taking a battering due to their tofu-dreg construction projects failing/collapsing at the slightest thing. Many younger Chinese people are starting to "Tang Ping" which translates to "Lie flat" because they think they have no future, and that working will not make their lives better... plus you have approx 12 million well-educated new grads each year entering the job market, which makes it overly competitive, and many are giving up as they were lied to be the CCP about their futures due to how hard it is now to find a job. China has fallen off a cliff since Xi took power... and he might not last that much longer. Secondly, China is far too reliant on exports and much of the rest of the world is getting fed-up with the CCP's dumping practices that destroys local industries because they can't compete with the state-subsidizes Chinese firms. Thirdly, another reason why there is population decline in China, is the same as it is for all totalitarian dictatorships and communist societies, people think it is morally wrong to bring children into such societies only to have a life of oppression, slavery, and drudgery, plus it is simply too expensive to do now with little state support... not just China, but many in the West think that far-lefty liberalism will not serve any children they have well either, and also too expensive. People need to believe there is a good future to invest and spend, once they don't believe that anymore, then people start saving. All a self-made problem by these incompetent governments all round the world... what goes around comes around, and people will react after a while.
  8. The UK has failed because it let in too many immigrants from places that have no desire to integrate and hate us... plus successive governments are in the high and mighty clouds about self-righteousness nonsense and devoid from reality. The UK is rapidly becoming a third world country... get out whilst you still can, as a distopian societal future awaits it due to a failed BS flirtation with multiculturism which simply won't fly when it hits reality. One of the reasons why many people don't want to have children is not just because of the financial problems, but because it is morally wrong to bring new life into such an authoritarian and Orwellian world and condemn them to such oppression... whether it be the UK, EU, China, US or anywhere else.
  9. Well, that's because Putler has no intention of wanting peace... just wants more war.
  10. I'm so proud of ASEAN Now posters that have allowed a thread to run further than 1 page without mentioning Trump... I'm impressed.
  11. Rather like the first reply somehow managed to get Trump into it too.
  12. I thought you were not a CCP bot apologist... but looks like you are losing cred on that post. How much is the CCP paying you and others on this forum to push CCP propaganda and their narrative? Lol... happening everywhere on social media, including Youtube... facepalm.
  13. Nice pro-CCP nonsense post. Are you one of those people they are paying to promote the CCP/China, like many on this forum? Lol.
  14. Biden was a moron who was not calling the shots... the deep state puppeteers were, so no cedit to sleepy Joe on this one.
  15. China has way more problems internally than anyone knows... CCP is done, as the Chinese people are pissed-off with what is going on right now.
  16. It's neither... just an excuse for lazy morons to game the system and claim nonsense. Western society should stop making up "conditions" that are not real... they are all just a figment of a section of society's imagination BS.
  17. Looks like the UK High Court has finally positively manned-up and decided what a woman is... maybe can rule on what a "man" is too, haha. It's pathetic that it have come to this... just as things were getting better for women in general, and then along comes this complete ludicrous and offensive BS from deluded, aggressive, and psyco dudes that think they are somehow femail... how society has fallen when they accept such made-up BS from nutjobs.
  18. Something else has also changed, which might be why the vibe has generally morphed and the attitude in places like immigration and with the locals in touristy places have gotten worse, and that is the they type and origin of tourists has shifted quiet dramatically too. What I mean is that now Thailand is flooded with tourists from places and origins that many Thais clearly dislike and sneer at (generic cultural racism or bias) whereas back in the day, yes you had the migrants for work from other Asian places like China/Burma/Laos etc, but touristy places where basically full of Caucasian tourists... places weren't flooded with angry African hookers or hordes of Indians scoping the streets in packs in gaudy outfits and oversized gold chains etc. The world has gotten more prosperous and Thailand has opened the door to any and all pretty much now... but that comes with many caveat too. The baht has strengthen too against all currencies, so they make much more money be letting in all and sundry, plus Thailand is less conservative now than it used to be on lots of subjects. Change is inevitable and nothing stays the same, just about whether it changes for the better or worse... which is subjective, I guess.
  19. This is true, and why I left long ago... and will never return. The UK is not only lost, it's so full of BS it's silly.
  20. The usual pro-Hamas nonsense article that sits well with the Asean Now far-left China supporting members... facepalm
  21. I lived in India for about 8 months back in the day and I can confidently say it would be a nightmare to retire to. What people don't realise about India is the sheer volume of people everywhere, it's teaming with mostly men with dodgy stashes just hanging around everywhere you go staring... you can't get away from the swathes of people everywhere unless you lock yourself in your room. It is certainly not a place to take a wife or girlfriend to, and the chances of meeting a decent Indian woman are close to zero... guess you might be okay if you are into boyfriends though, haha. It is a shocking place for your mental state... unless maybe you went far up north to somewhere like Manali in the Kulu valley and smoked really good weed and meditated whilst enjoying hot spring baths, but it also gets so freezing cold there are night and in the morning. You go south and it's like an oven, scam central on everything, Indian police make Thai police look virtuous and the poster-boy for good policing etc. Probably a little bit of a troll post from the OP, but if it wasn't, then you have lost your mind to consider this.
  22. The irony is so thicK you could choke on it in this forum. There are so many far-left, pro-China, anti-US/UK biased posters that it makes no sense... think about it. How can you be far-left, anti-western and pro-China? Unless of course it's like on Youtude where the CCP is paying foreign influences to be positive about China etc., which I could easily believe. Facepalm.
  23. Whilst war can't be completely ruled out, as there has always been and will be again in the future... the question is on what scale it will be. Any large-scale war would be the end for most countries as they are no so interconnected through things like trade, business, and co-reliance on each other... even if they all have tantrums and hissy-fits with each other. There is plenty of brinksmanship going on to see who blinks first on topics so that they can get what they can, but if it actually came down to it, then I'm not so sure, as everyone knows there are plenty enough nukes on both side to destroy everyone everywhere... along with public opinion outrage in a lot of places would be huge with a massive backlash, as people are not now as supportive of such destruction/wars, as it would interject with their insular comfortable lives and social media addictions. There is also the point that China could easily be a paper tiger when it comes to war... looks good on paper but China has a history of, well, lying blatantly about pretty much everything, from youth unemployment to trade figures to all sorts. That is before we even talk about corruption in their military and society at large... not to mention the PLA has absolutely no battle experience, as the last time they fought a war it was with Vietnam and China soundly had their backsides handed to them. Any conflict with anyone is extremely risky for Beijing and the CCP, as if it doesn't go exactly how they want it and thus exposes themselves as incompetent, then it's game over for the CCP as the loss of face would be too big whilst also they would lose what is called "the heavenly mandate" to rule, and it is taken very seriously in China. People often forget that China does things differently from everyone else (e.g. Beijing decides how much GDP will be and then tasks local government to make it happen) and the military is no exception. A clear example is they are very top-down with orders and junior officers are not allowed to take the initiative on their own and make real-time battlefield decisions, they have to wait for orders to come down from above, not to mention most officers have to literally spend 50% of their time studying nonsense like "Xi Jinping Thought" and CCP propaganda rather than study sound military tactics... that just wouldn't wash against a rival like the US, China would be swept aside quickly... no contest, and I think Beijing knows that, hence why it hasn't gone too aggressive on things, just likes to inch by inch it to their objectives. There is much at play on this and the risks are very high. Also, as an aside, it seems at the moment that there is much internal turmoil going on in China right now, not just with economic malaise, property market crashes, tofu-dreg projects everywhere, youth unemployment, ghost cities, kids "lying flat" because they have given up on the future, but political changes too as many top officials are being investigated and arrested/disappeared, even Xi loyalists. Chinese politics is extremely complicated and subtle in its messaging, and the two main factions (‘Princelings’ and ‘Tuanpai’ with Xi being a 'Princeling whereas Hu Jintao and Zhang Zemin are/were Tuanpai) are always fighting to place "their guys" in positions of power... it is noticable that Xi Jinping has become more quiet and less visable in the last few months, something is definitely up behind the scenes in China. In regard to all this, I would surmise it to be unlikely that Beijing would take any really big risks until the internal situation is stabilized properly and positions are cemented for the foreseeable future. Just my observations and I welcome any comments or input, as it is an interesting topic.
  24. That guy in the photo looks like he's a real killjoy... announcing a mandate from Grinch. I mean, wow, jail time for posting pictures of people having fun and a few beer... bit extreme.
  25. People should try to ditch masks for a couple of reasons: 1. Masks are designed so that you don't give something to others, hence why doctors doing surgery wear them... not about preventing you from getting something, thats called a gas mask. 2. Constantly wearing a mask ensures that you are inhaling micro-fibers from the mask, which isn't good in the long run for your lungs. 3. Wearing a mask inhibits your natural immune system from normal bateria etc., so ironically lowers your resistance to viruses etc. Better to just face it full on, and come what may... rather that trying to isolate yourself and pretending you can dodge the pathogens. When it comes to this stuff, you either survive or you don't... can't dodge the bullet, even if you can lengthen the odds a bit through some actions.
