  1. Sprinting down animals until they are exhausted?

You might want to look into that.

Sure Native Americans would track a deer for long periods to keep it moving until it was exhausted but it wasn't due to sprinting. They just kept the deer moving to cause overheating without rest periods.

That is called Persistence hunting and involved mostly involved jogging and walking.

Humans had to be good long distance to hunt and gather.

The sprinting I am guessing was essential for escaping dangers.

  2. the 1 year or 6 month ED extensions are a thing of the past.

The rules just changed in Sept/Oct 14

Now pretty sure everybody goes every 90 days for 1900 baht extension.

You better like getting up at 5:30 am to get in line.

Can check the Visa forum but pretty sure 90 days only.

  3. Running sprints barefoot on grass is a really good way to debug a persons biomechanics.

If a person can't sprint then going out longer slower runs is often counter productive.

Many people have poor hip extension.

Once there is good hip extension then many diverse running exercises are possible without injury.

In this example see how the blue line can extend behind the red line?

Barefoot and sprinting enforces that range of motion.

Longer slower distances can be performed without that extension but lead to tightness and injuries

  4. it's not a simple as saying running is good or bad for your joints.

If a person can run pain free then run.

If a person can't run pain free then they need to change some things to progress.

Running with pain is going to lead to problems over time.

Use the discomfort to debug the biomechanics and learn to run again.

Being able to sprint and move like a child can be reclaimed by most people.

It just takes some knowledge to get there.

  5. It's possible to rebuild the biomechanics in this modern world of smart phones, sitting, forward head position, fallen arches, caved in chest.

Running with bad biomechanics is destructive on the joints.

Once the biomechanics are solid then running is primary functional ability of a being a human.

I have found this book really good to change muscle balance.

There are definitely other sources out there but this is good investment in simplifying the process.

  6. " Inplants are much more likely to fail down the road "

    ???

About 98.3 % success rate unless your a smoker . I would rather have white zerconium implant that is fused in a healthy way directly to bone strong and secure than a dead body part kept in my heard . No place else in body would medicine leave a dead body part in body that is open door to many unwanted bacteria and inflammation causing elements but as they say here " up to you "

It's your choice. I have definitely run into a few people with implant problems but maybe that is old tech ones.

As far as inflammation I would prefer to monitor inflammation with Hi sensitivity CRP or some of the newer measures.

I have a single root canal and my CRP is on the floor.

I guess if CRP was going up and I could not find an alternative source then would consider paying a S load of money to get an implant.

Certainly worth being concerned with inflammation but I want to measure it before I go full preemptive hypochondriac.

Everyone has this mantra about inflammation. If it's there then it should be measurable at some point. Maybe some root canals become problematic over time or have variations in how they were performed. Until I can measure it however it falls under the potential problem category and can't assume it's there on faith.

  7. I am leaving CM due to the cycling dangers. 2 weeks. Wahoo. The bike paths where I am going are like winding superhighways of cycling bliss.

I have always sought the back roads and dirt over the pavement but just too many close calls with the increasing numbers and unskilled drivers.

Sure it's exhilerating and keeps one in the moment but not worth compound fractures or worse. I guess I like myself too much.

A lot of cyclists are in deep denial. They reason that they have been riding a long time and never run over so it's okay. Everyday a person throws their legs over the bike its new odds.

I hope they do improve the infrastructure for bicycles over the years. They certainly have cheap land and labor to build paths such as Huay Tung Tau.

The cynic in me thinks the funds will build some corrupt official a nice estate or buy some shiny new cars.

  8. ^^ I think that is one example of Mercola being off the mark

Mercola is pretty much marketing machine now with hundreds of employees

Getting a tooth extracted when it can be root canaled is retarded.

These days they have flexible bits to get out all the pulp, Xrays to check and medicine to prevent bacteria growth.

Inplants are much more likely to fail down the road. Otherwise who wants a bridge or big hole in their mouth?
