Maybe you should read this document: Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Takes Forceful and Unprecedented Steps to Combat Anti-Semitism https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2025/01/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-takes-forceful-and-unprecedented-steps-to-combat-anti-semitism/ One reason for Trump's action is the failure of Columbia and other universities to protect Jewish students. From Trump's Executive Order: "Immediate action will be taken by the Department of Justice to protect law and order, quell pro-Hamas vandalism and intimidation, and investigate and punish anti-Jewish racism in leftist, anti-American colleges and universities." This press release is also relevant: U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights Sends Letters to 60 Universities Under Investigation for Antisemitic Discrimination and Harassment Letters warn of potential enforcement actions if institutions do not fulfill their obligations under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act to protect Jewish students on campus. https://www.ed.gov/about/news/press-release/us-department-of-educations-office-civil-rights-sends-letters-60-universities-under-investigation-antisemitic-discrimination-and-harassment It looks like something is being done against antisemitism.

Jewish students were harassed and threatened, sometimes assaulted, during university demonstrations. Demonstrations off campus, sometimes in front of synagogues, also harassed Jews on their w ay to worship. Antisemitism is definitely a threat to the U.S. and can become illegal, depending on the form it takes. Spray-painting slogans, vandalism and threatening or assaulting individuals is always illegal. Take a look at the video I posted three steps above.

Intent figures in heavily. Mahmoud Khalil's intent in passing out Hamas pamphlets is to support Hamas in achieving its goal of destroying the state of Israel and massacring Israeli citizens. My goal is the opposite. I linked to the content of the pamphlet to identify Hamas as a terrorist group so people support the efforts to destroy it. I'm sure U.S. authorities know the difference between the two. It's not illegal to read or possess a pamphlet by Hamas. Distributing Hamas pamphlets with the intent of supporting Hamas could be illegal.

This is what support for Hamas looks like in the U.S. It goes waaaaay beyond freedom of speech. Note the part where a protester says "You Jewish m*therf*cker! We are going to kill all of you." He didn't say Zionist or Israeli, but Jewish. And I'm sure he meant it. _we_are_hamas_ (720p).mp4

Here's the Hamas pamphlet that Khalil among others passed out during the takeover of a building at Bernhard College. Note that it's not a pamphlet that's merely ABOUT Hamas, but a pamphlet that was issued BY Hamas. It bears the Hamas emblem and the words, "Hamas Media Office." It's reasonable to believe that distributing official Hamas publications amounts to support of a terrorist group. Mahmoud Khalil has received the due process to which a Green Card holder is entitled. It's not the same due process which he, or any other resident in the U.S., would receive if they were facing criminal charges. Due process is not identical in every situation. Khalil is scheduled to appear before an immigration judge on March 27. Here is a screen shot of the Notice to Appear that Khalil was given upon arrest: https://www.washingtonpost.com/documents/8a3cbff6-4589-43e1-8455-042fa9555e3c.pdf One curious aspect of the case is that Khalil is listed as a citizen of Algeria! According to numerous press reports, Khalil was born and raised in Syria. Hs parrents were Palestinian refugees. Under Syrian law, the children of Palestinians born in Syria aren't considered citizens of Syria. Khalil is now 30 years old. He studied at a university in Lebanon, then worked for a Syrian-American NGO. In 2018 he become a local employee of the British embassy in Beirut and worked there until 2022, when he entered the U.S. to study at Columbia. How and when did he become an Algerian citizen??? Maybe that is part of the reason his Green Card was revoked?

Which part are you claiming is not true: 1) Democrats are fighting for a pro=Hamas foreigner; or 2) Mahmoud Khalil has made life hell for Jews on campus? Or are you saying both are not true?

Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message
Yes, he is. "White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Tuesday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio reserves the right to revoke former Columbia graduate student Mahmoud Khalil's green card or visa. "Leavitt said that under the Immigration and Nationality Act, the secretary of state has the right to revoke a green card or a visa for individuals who are 'adversarial to the foreign policy and national security interests of the United States of America.'" You can read more details in the linked article: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/white-house-rubio-reserves-right-revoke-green-card-visa-anti-israel-activist-mahmoud-khalil As one of the leaders of the anti-Israel group Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), Khalil has called for the destruction of the U.S. as well as Israel. This article explains the ideology behind CUAD and its actions: What are the beliefs of Mahmoud Khalil’s activist group CUAD? - analysis "The issue of law enforcement action against the group’s leadership cannot be separated from the actions and objectives of CUAD, which perceives itself as a revolutionary force working toward the destruction of the United States and Israel. "The means to achieve this are not just through vandalism and civil unrest, which CUAD directly employs, as the group also supports terrorism at home and in the Middle East, praising the October 7 massacre as the pinnacle of revolutionary action." https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-845664 Below is a post from CUAD's Instagram page, which defends another CUAD leader, Khymani James, who said “Zionists don’t deserve to live,” basically calling for the deaths of Jewish students at Columbia. Khalil is believed to have written this post. The reasons haven't changed at all. The U.S. has cited national security and antisemitic actions since Trump made his initial announcement of the move to revoke visas of pro-Hamas foreign students. Pro-Palestinians have incorrectly assumed Khalil was being deported for speeches he'd made.

Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message
It's not unusual for the U.S. to revoke visas of students for security reasons. Because Mahmoud Khalil considers himself Palestinian (he was born in Syria) and was a leader of anti-Israel protests, the case has attracted a lot of attention. How many of you were aware Chinese students have had visas revoked? US reveals it has revoked more than 1,000 visas to Chinese nationals deemed security risks https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/china-us-visas-intl-hnk/index.html Those Chinese students didn't disrupt classes or threaten and harass Jewish students at their universities.

You seem to believe Mahmoud Khalil is being deported for making a specific speech. That's not the case. He was arrested and will be deported for actions in support of Hamas. Moreover, his actions as well as his words as one of the leaders of anti-Israel protests at Columbia harassed and threatened Jewish students. A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin, "signaled the arrest was directly connected to Khalil’s role in the protests, alleging he 'led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization'.” She also described the arrest as being “in support of President Trump’s executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism.” https://apnews.com/article/columbia-university-mahmoud-khalil-ice-15014bcbb921f21a9f704d5acdcae7a8 "This is not about free speech," Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters. "This is about people who do not have a right to be in the United States to begin with. No one has a right to a student visa. No one has a right to a greed card by the way." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rubio-revoking-columbia-agitator-mahmoud-khalils-green-card-not-about-free-speech "New York state Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz, a Republican, also bucked the narrative that Khalil's case is focused on First Amendment rights, saying he wasn't arrested 'for holding a sign or chanting in a quad,' he was arrested 'because he actively engaged in activities aligned with Hamas, a blood-soaked organization that massacres civilians.' "'Let’s dispense with the nonsense — this isn’t a debate over free speech; it’s a matter of national security, plain and simple,' he said. 'The First Amendment protects words, not actions taken in service of a terrorist cause.'" https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pro-hamas-activists-deportation-not-free-speech-matter-law-trumps-side-experts

Mahmoud Khalil is not facing deportation because he gave a speech. He was an active supporter of Hamas and his actions were a threat to Jewish students at Columbia. Trump’s Bold Stand Against Campus Antisemitism Sends a Clear Message
The pro-Hamas, I mean pro-Palestinian, students did NOT protest when Hamas attacked unarmed Israeli civilians on Oct. 7, killing children and the elderly, burning houses, raping women, etc. On the contrary, many pro-Palestinians praised or at least excused the attacks as "resistance.". And as @Nick Carter icp noted, there are several conflicts in the world involving disputes over territory that have caused more death, destruction and displacement than the Gaza war. Millions have died in Sudan and the Congo and tens of millions have been displaced, but the level of protest in the West is miniscule compared with anti-Israel protests. When was the last time you heard of a protest against civil war and the massacre of civilians in Sudan or elsewhere in Africa?

U.S. State Dept to Use AI to Revoke Visas of Foreign Students with Alleged Ties to Hamas
That's correct. Revocation of student visas and student status is an administrative measure at the discretion of the U.S. government. It's not subject to challenge or review in the U.S. court system. The government doesn't even have to disclose the reason for denying or revoking a visa. That's long-standing practice which has been upheld as Constitutional by the Supreme Court. Bottom line: the U.S. government can revoke a student visa and order the removal of a foreign student for any reason it chooses. The U.S. has 1.2 million foreign students enrolled in its educational institutions. Every day it orders the removal of dozens, if not hundreds, of foreign students for violating the terms of their student visa. Foreign students must agree in writing to respect the laws of the U.S. as well as the rules of the institution where they are enrolled. They are free to take part in political demonstrations, but any illegal action would be grounds for visa revocation, whether in connection with a demonstration or otherwise. That is great news, but hopefully just the start. Considering Columbia has $5 billion in government grants, only about 8% has been cut. Columbia's total endowment in 2025 is $14.8 billion. Columbia deserves to have funds cut as the admin refused to take action in response to blatant harassment of Jewish students. The best news is that ICE agents have arrested Mahmoud Khalil and the government is taking steps to revoke his green card. Khalil was the leader of the anti-Israel protests at Columbia and is the best-known Hamas supporter in the U.S. He's also openly antisemitic. The Trump admin went after the top shark and not a small fish in the pro-Hamas pond. https://apnews.com/article/columbia-university-mahmoud-khalil-ice-15014bcbb921f21a9f704d5acdcae7a8

Secret Space Colonies? Shocking Claims Suggest Mars and the Moon Are Already Inhabited!
I heard about the theory of a base on Mars in the 1930's serial, Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars. Dr Zarkov explained it, so it must be true. And when I lived in Pattaya, I was certain some of the ex-pats I met came from the planet Mongo.

New York Bill Aims to Criminalize Terror Group Flags at Anti-Israel Protests
The crime is not just holding a flag. As the OP explains, the intent to "harass, threaten, or intimidate" is what makes it criminal. My bold text. The text of the NY state law that is being amended to include terrorist flags: https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/PEN/240.31 The national flag of Palestine would NOT be forbidden under the statute, only the flags of terror groups like Hamas or Hezbollah displayed with the intent to intimidate others. There have been cases where Palestinian supporters have waved terror-group flags in the faces of Jews or in front of synagogues. They already have been banned: NY Gov. Kathy Hochul bans the Confederate flag, other hate symbols on public property New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed legislation Tuesday barring the display of symbols of hate on all public property and equipment after a fire truck decorated with a Confederate flag sparked outrage last year. https://www.nysenate.gov/newsroom/in-the-news/2021/anna-m-kaplan/ny-gov-kathy-hochul-bans-confederate-flag-other-hate

Israel Hamas War the Widening Middle East Conflict
Pro-Palestinian groups in the West have at protests been calling for a ceasefire in Gaza since Oct. 8, 2023. Now that Hamas has rejected an extension to the first phase of the earlier ceasefire agreement, I wonder if these groups will continue to demand a ceasefire? It ain't the Israelis who are saying "no" this time round.

Was it this T-shirt? Or one of these? I remember there was some controversy when a Thai artist designed and sold these T-shirts.

Are these specs adequate for a home PC?
That's a decent price for a 24" all-in-one Lenovo with those specs. It certainly has a strong enough CPU and sufficient memory for ordinary home use. It's easy and cheap to add more memory if you need it. As long as you're not trying to play the most advanced games or edit videos in 4k, you should be fine.

Wow! I think your Hungarian friend may have moved to Jomtien. He's famous for using that strategy to get working girls at rock-bottom prices. I could name him, but I don't want to gab or someone might flame me.
