Here we go again with another Lazada topic. It's not Lazada's fault if you are cheap asses. You buy a 2tb usb for 70 baht you deserve to be scammed. You complain about reviews on a 7 dollars trimmer, really? Buy a Philips or Braun trimmer and pay it 4000 THB not 300. Otherwise, don't complain.

Disagree.. If you change your mind, or it's not as ordered or damaged.. you don't have to wait for a refund which can take a week or more.
With COD the process is exactly the same.

I wonder why when you go to USA you have to undergo a full police screening and if you have even the most stupid charge like DUI or marjuana possession when you were 18 years old you will be denied the visa but USA themselves let their scumbags, convicted pedophiles and murderers go around with a fresh passport even if they are on bail ...

I’m considering a Honda lawnmower via lazada from a Thai company in Bangkok. I’d prefer to pay by my U.K. credit card (20k baht) rather than cash ,but does COD give me any real benefits? For non delivery or faulty item my card has a chargeback facility… plus I get a better rate on it .
No benefits for COD. Always pay by card, not sure if your UK card will work though AND if the chargeback would be as fast

Always confusing to read posts from people who haven't had a problem with a certain platform and who seem to think this somehow nullifies the reports from those who have.
Speaking from my own personal experience, checking the reputation of a seller doesn't help when Lazada refuses to publish reviews from other customers that mention counterfeit goods. I got landed with 10+ packets of counterfeit guitar strings from vendors with good ratings on Lazada. They claim to have a zero tolerance policy for counterfeit goods but, in reality, what they actually have is a zero tolerance policy for customer reviews that mention the counterfeit goods being sold on their website.
As I said before, you are an example of person who is unable to shop online ( no offence, you have time to learn)
I searched "guitar strings" on Lazada and first result is a pack of strings by Gibson costing 78 baht. Same from another seller 59 baht. The Gibson genuine strings sell from around 7 dollars to 30 dollars in any shop online and not. So can you please tell me how can you think of getting a genuine product (which in this case happens to be even an import product from USA) for 2 dollars?

Same here over 300 orders, no problems
I have also an infinite list of orders paid by credit card and bank on Lazada and Shopee ranging from 20 baht stuff to 50k baht order from Apple official store (on Lazada). Customer care is great, if chat is not available can speak by phone and they have excellent English speaking operators. Always received the few refunds I needed smoothly.
Before buying ALWAYS check the reputation of the seller.
Salty comment: very fun to read posts of people UNABLE to buy online and blaming it on the platform..

I just opened the Twitter thread linked and someone answered:
"Good luck. My wife successfully registered us 3 times only to then be rejected later. She got told over 60 Thais first, she won't be eligible until at least July or later."

He just wants to adventure the Thai girls a bit.
Your statement is not really true.
I once dated a woman, working in a bank. They only thing what she cared about was, how much money she could get.
Sure, there are exceptions but for many, the pressure is so high to provide for their family and in their eyes the only way out is, to find a "wealthy" farang.
Do you know that teachers get very easily bank loans and some of them are maxed out.
Always handy to find someone, taking over the responsibility.
There are lots of good girls out there. Just open your eyes and never talk about money. If she really has an interest, she will stick around.
I talked to one last year. Chatting for days.
One day she asked me what my job was.
I told her "nothing, no job". Intitially, she was sad for me and said that it must be due to "Covid" and things will be better soon.
I told her: No, I do not work in Thailand, I am lazy.
Never heard a word from her again 5555
They have no clue what "retirement", "dividend", "rental" income is.
If you are living in Thailand and need some fun through website I think it's very easy, just always lie lie lie in any case and never reveal your address (some girls are crazy and stalkers). Just make them believe between the lines that you are full of cash and they will believe it.
Of course, if you live in Europe and waste your time on a Thai dating website looking for a wife, you are already ready and set for troubles.

You say your friend is around 60 and not exactly Richard Gere and in Belgium (why he wastes his time looking for Thai girls?) so obviously he will get answers from professionals or desperates or scammers. AFAIK those websites are also populated with genuinely nymphomaniac girls who have a regular job and don't need a single satang (teachers, bank employees, etc..).

Help me to understand better. So the right thing to do to stop the spread of the UK strain is to only stop foreigners and not Thai? So let's say a foreigner was close to a Thai before the checkpoint, the Thai cannot be infected? Or Thai people are immune? Let us understand this logic... If we can speak about logic in this whole nonsense..

Your internet friends who sent you that figure didn't bother to tell you that Delhi is a fast growing, large city. From 2015 to 2016, the population grew by a million people. So, yeah, deaths went up.
A leading cause of excess deaths in Delhi is air pollution. If there were only a way to convince people in Delhi to wear face masks.
My internet friend is a government source, result n°1 on Google.
The death RATE, being a RATE, is weighted. So I want to ask again, if you minded about Delhi in 2016 or you just care about them now because it's cool to be a covid warrior in every situation?
Again, the news says her death is being investigated. So, sorry covid fans/warriors!

You are in the right place. Shortly the experts of this forum will tell you where the suckers are more dangerous..stay tuned.

As far as I know, posts that deny Covid, anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theories are not allowed on this forum. To the best of my knowledge Thaivisa does allow free speech but has its limits. In the case of posts conating covid denials and anti-vaccine messages, I believe they are banned because of the damage they can do through potential influence.
The poster I am refering to is sailing very close to the wind with his comments. In my opinion he has tried to get his point across (covid denial) by not directly stating such a position - although it is clear to me what his underlying message is.
I am not in a position to block him or delete his posts - that is the job of the moderators but just as you say he is entitled to free speech, that also applies to me calling him out on his veiled message doesn't it?
You may note that in his subsequent posts, the subject member has not denied what he was getting at.
Instead of running to the moderators crying because I stole your candies you should just learn to read the news. Nowhere is said that she died for coronavirus. It says that she tested positive to coronavirus and her death is being investigated. What if she exercised under the rain, got a fever and died for her weak immune system? We don't know... And the doctors are investigating. So why you want to convince us she died for covid when even the news and medics don't say so?

You can do it xx times successfully but that one time the price moves while you are waiting the transaction, you lose everything...

For god's sake man, give it a rest - I know what you're getting at. Covid deniers are not welcome here - even those who try to veil their wording.
Two young lives have been lost - one not even born!
Preach your rubbish elsewhere - preferably somewhere like Dehli right now - I'm sure you will find lots of people willing to listen.
Hopefully the moderators will recognise your veiled comments.
Why not get me to walk with a star on the chest , burn a serial number on my skin and put me in a shiny friendly re-education center?
Ps: in 2016 the mortality rate in Delhi spiked by +11%. That's way worse then Corona. Did you pray for Delhi in 2016?

"You Honor, I know that it appears that my client killed the victim, but, in reality, everyone dies, so what's the big deal?"
Well, if you can prove that no 30 y.o. pregnant woman has ever died due to high fever before covid era, then we can consider the possibility that she died for covid. Until then, we can say that she died, and tested positive to Corona. Why they didn't test her for example to Cytomegalovirus? Or to HHV-1? Or HHV-3?
Maybe she was positive to all these 4 viruses. So now, what she died for?

I like how every covid case in Thailand is a dirty falang or a Thai infected by a dirty falang. Covid never jumps from Thai to Thai.
Just in case you think Lazada reviews are genuine.
