I was going to say...aren't there still some provincial Immigration Offices that, at least in the past, have simply refused to accept online 90-day reporting?

I went to Mukdahan office a month ago. ( No one else there. )

Had my Thai wife with me.

We talked for a long time, but they did not take my 90 days reporting.

They told me I did not need to do that under the exemption.

( My permit ion to stay' has run out a long time ago.)

    According to this site: https://www.prachachat.net/breaking-news/news-507835

The changes will come into effect 120 days after they are published in the Royal Gazette (so not this year), and a big bike is classified as 400cc or more.

You then in fact got 3 kategoriens now.
At pressent you can drive a motorbike op to and inc. 110cc on a bike licens up from the age of 15 until 18.
And can drive any bike when over 18.

Seems it will now them be that you can drive up till 400cc if over 18.

If bike is over 400cc you need to be over 18 and have a big bike licens.

The prices given for hotels are ridiculous. No way Thais are going to pay 18,000 Baht a night for a hotel room even if it is called a resort. Another scam hoping expats will byte

The resort we have right down the road, is 550 Baht a night. I don't know where you find one at 18.000 Baht, but agree nobody is going to pay that.

Good news. I'll wait for the Gazetted version on Friday to see if anything might change for the better for me as regards a 1 year extension by marriage at Kalasin.

But my thinking is to get an exit strategy sorted now. By 26 September there might be more travel restrictions in to the EU than at present! Possibly more lockdowns there. I only ever wanted to secure the next 12 months of stay here then leave for several months anyway. So far: told would be denied if I actually applied.

Anyone else had this at Kalasin? To recap: On Savanakhet issued non O multi based on marriage. Entered and given 90 days. Visa then expired. Extended the 90 day permission by 60. By then not possible to cross to Savanakhet. Start of amnesty shortly after. The 60 day extension expired on 9 June. Kalasin 10 say they want seasoned 400k in bank then I can apply no problem. Not able to do that. Income method? They started raising hurdles. So they advised I go to Savanakhet again when I can. I haven't been back.

And I don't want to wait 30 days under approval even if they accepted my appication!

I am in exactly the same situation. I was told (in Mukdahan): Have 400K in your bank before end of July. We will then give you 60 days extension.
After the 60 days extension, your 400K is seasoned, and you can apply and get 12 md.

(After the 60 days seasoning, you are free to withdraw the 400K, as soon as you have got your 12 Md.)
My problem is that I can not get the 400K by the end of July.
As I see it; now I have until 26 Sep. to try to get hold of the 400K.

So, to summarize for a marriage visa:

Extension or stay - not covered

Single/Multiple entry visas covered by amnesty.

    ?

Your 'Extension to stay' is automatically extended until 31 July!

My Non-O multi entry Visa (Given on grounds of Married to Thai) expired in February, I came back to Thailand (After a 30 minutes trip to Laos) on 25 February before the Visa expired, and got 90 days 'permition to stay' (Until 25 April). That was automatically extended until  30 April, and is now again automatically extended until 31 July.

When  (If) the border opens before 31 July, I have to go to Lao sometime before 31 July to get a new Visa. Until then I don't have to do anything (Including 90 days reporting )

This has all been confirmed by Mukdahan immigration.

Sorry, the dad should take part of the blame. Guns should always be locked up in the home.

Wrong!  The father ( or rather the parents ) should take all the blame!

The parents have the responsibility for kids 9 - 10 year old.
They are responsible for bringing up their children.

A soldier Dad and a teacher Mum, and they still do not know ( or don't care) how to bring up their children. Then there is not much hope for Thailand.

Thais don't understand the concept of critical thinking...the teachers have no idea what it means..government officials ditto.

    I don’t think that is 100% right
I think the government know exactly what they are doing in this case.
They want to make sure that no Thai student start to think by themselves, or start to question what they are told.

That is the main thing about the Thai education system. Teach the students from day one, to do as they are told by those in power, and do not question anything.

Clever self-thinking people are far too hard to control, therefore teach the students from day one, not to think by themselves

My wife has two boys aged 15 (twins), and at times I get frustrated with her when she doesn't allow them out to mix with friends or hang out at a large shopping centre, or ride the motorbike, unless its locally up the road to get something for her, I remember being able to hang out and do stuff when I was growing up.

Then I read stuff like this and say to myself, a mother's instinct sometimes knows better. Whether she is right or wrong, or whether it will affect the boys development in future years will only tell and when I discuss my frustrations with her sometimes, she kindly replies, darling, I am not going to my sons funerals while I am alive ????????

    Your wife is absolutely right.

Yes you ( and I) where allowed out, but that was not in Thailand. Your wife know Thailand and make her rules from that.

My girls are not ewer allowed to ride in the back of a truck, even when told by the school to do so.

Did they say whether a TM30 must be filed when returning from another province or just from out of the country?

My wife asked the immigration in Mukdahan straight:

Do you need a T30 if my husband goes to another province?

The straight answer to that was: NO. We only need the T30 if he has been to another country.

That question has been asked 3 times, and every time answered the same:

“Only if he has been to another country”

  10. I applied for my first ‘‘extension of stay to support a Thai spouse' 3 years ago, and showed a embassy statement that I had an income of about 80.000 a month.
I was told by the immigration that I could get a retirement extension with that income, with less paperwork.

I replied that I still would like the extension on grounds of support a Thai spouse'.
Was then told that is up to me to decide, and was given the ‘‘extension of stay to support a Thai spouse'. No problem.

A bit off topic, as it is about marriage extension.

My wife was told by the emigration, that if I wanted to use the income method, I would need 40.000 a month transferred to my bank account for 12 month before the extension.

They do not care where it comes from, and some of it can be transferred from my pension from oversees, and the rest can come from her income. (Transferred from her Thai bank account.)

As long as 40.000 went into my Thai bank account, they would be happy.
We could of cause use of it for living, as that is the main purpose for it.
