Don’t know about farangs from any other countries, but I do know that wary few Danes would go on holyday to Thailand, if they get tracked like that.
I myself don’t mind, but people do generally not want to get tracked.
For some reason they would not want anything to show that they are, say in Bick C. That they don’t mind paying by credit card, that also shows it, is another story. The long and short of it, is that this app, will make sure that most tourist will stay away from Thailand

From where I live to where I drive at night is a fast 4 lane road with many bikes with no rear lights. What is it about these riders that they want to endanger themselves and me for the cost of a rear bulb?
An some without any light on ant all, and not even a number plate that could at least reflect your own lights.
Off course none of them have any proper reflector's at all. -

None of these vaccines have been tested to the same standard as was previously required. Previous record was 4 years and these COVID ones haven't even got 12 months behind them. Anyone that claims to know what the long term consequences are is lying.
We all know China's record on health scandals very well so obviously Thais should be worried about this vaccine. Unless you're 80 years old I wouldn't even consider this until at least 100 million Chinese have taken it and then wait 12 months.
After using the vaccines, Norway now say it look like the vaccine is not safe to use on anyone over 80 years old.

The MG 3 seem to have all the power you would want. The automatic gearbox also seem to work fine.
But I could imagine the 1,5 engine being too small for the MG 5.
Biggish problem I find, is that the car do not understand English when you speak to it. Only Thai.
The GPS speak English OK.

I own and MG 3. Smart car. Have had it 1 year from new.
Very satisfied with it. A few smaller things could be better, but you can't have everything,
Handy small car. Goes well, good GPS, and auto pilot, etc. Very good service.
The MG 5 is bigger, but as it has the same engine, it must be more sluggish.

I am sorry, but there is something I don’t understand.
You need a US$100,000 of COVID 19 insurance, but as they clam there is no COVID 19 in Thailand, and you therefore cannot get COVID 19 ones you are in Thailand, or at least the risk is very minimal.
The insurance company therefor run very little risk with that insurance. Therefore it should be very very cheap. Maybe with one price for the first 14 - 30 days in Thailand, and very cheap for the rest.
Have any Thai insurance company had to pay out anything on that insurance up to date ?

Even people, who have reasonable money, don’t usually have that amount joust sitting in a normal bank account.
They have it in shares or other investments that pay a higher rate of interest.

A 10 wheel truck with 40 tons of steel mesh !!! Way overloaded and highly dangerous as was proven.
You might be right, but not necessarily. Lorry's in Denmark has 40 T as max. Sweden higher. (60 T I think)
(OK you don't load with 40 T. as 40 T. is total weight.)
But I agree. the number of dead on the roads always surprise me. The way they drive I would expect it to be much higher.

And we all know that the death toll shown is far from the actually number, as it only count persons dead at the scene.
Like to know the number inc. persons dead within 3 month after, because of injuries from a accident.Would also be interesting to know how many get severely injured for life, because of traffic accidents.
With the amount of accidents involving motorbikes with driver and passengers without helmet, there must be some with sewer head injuries, where the person nearly would be better off being dead. -
Let's face it... Impossible to understand women.
Impossible to under stand Thais.
How do you expect to understand Thai women? -
I am on Non-O Visa (actually expired in February ), been using Border run ewer 90 days until border closed.
Been on Amnesty until that finished.
Got my 60 days extension on 22 Sep. until 25 November.
I went to immigration yesterday, to ask, to be sure...Was told I am OK until 25 Nov. Before that, then come back, and I will get another 60 days extension then. ( but must pay 1900 B. for that)
This is all at Mukdahan.

"Certainly the place they quarantined and conditions there need to be examined."
Most likely she did pick it up while in quarantine. But as we know that all Thais always do there job very well and newer do any shortcuts, it is hard to explain how it could happen.

How would they know who the tourists who are supposed to wear bands are vs the expats who are already here ? I could make a band out of Chang poptops is that would help.
Dont worry.. No problem.. Next order will be that ALL expats in Thailand have to wear the bands.

So my Non O 60 days extension based on family, that came into effect on Sept 27th, still expires on Nov 27th?
I think so... I did the same and expect this make no deferens for us,
You say Nov 27. Sure of that??? Sure it is not Nov 25. you get 60 days. not 2 months
Mine is until Nov 25 according to the stamp.-

I did show 13x4 weekly payments with a spreadsheet from the bank but the IO wanted only 12x1 monthly payments. No, the problem was with this 1 IO as I had extensions approved before by other IO's.
If that IO will not accept that, why do you then not simply go to another IO, to get it?

I am sure only a few will use this.
A few that is married unofficially ( not registered married ) might use it.
It will bring about half as many to Thailand, as they are now forcing to leave after the 26 this month. -
Live close to the lake in Nikom. I have newer seen the water as low as it is now, not even during hot season.
I think they could do with some rain. -

congratulations, it is. However it is more lethal than the common cold and a little bit more lethal than influenza. There are 3 different types of Meningitis, there are many different corona viruses, doesn't mean they all act the same or have a similar virulency
That is right. I also think you should not take a case of this virus as lightly as many seems to do.
They have found, that in many cases, especially in younger people that has had it, they suffer lot of, sometimes very serious, aftereffects later.

I am a bit confused and 1st of all i would like to make sure i am still ok with my visa right now before even going to ask to immigration (Hua Hin in my case) or to an agent.
My visa expired on february current year. But i left the country some days before so i had the 90 days until the 28th of April.
Since that i did nothing else cause there has been the amnesty.
I still could use the card of the 60 days extension right?
So if i ll obtain the 60 days starting from sept 26 i'll be ok until nov 25.
If all i have said is correct why should i go visit an agent with almost 3 months left?
thanks
I don't think you need to se an agent right now.
I am in exactly the same situation.
My wife called an agent ( As she speak Thai, and I wanted to be sure not to have any misunderstanding)The agent told her, that there is no hurry. I should go and get my 2 months extension, and then come to see her about a month before that run out (25 November). Then she would get me a 12 md. retirement extension. Price 20.000 Bht.
I am well over 50.
(If I wanted marriage extension insted, it would cost more)
Of cause I don't like to pay 20K, but
1.) I am despret.
2.) It is not a lot more than I would normally pay in all.
(12 md. non-0 multy entry. = 5.000. 1 night in Lao to get the Visa. 4 times Visa to Lao = nearly another 5.000. 4 times bus to Lao over the bridge etc.
I live near Mukdahan so it is not much trouble to go to Lao, but still it all add up.
I think in all the 20K is only 5-7K more than it would kost anyway.

Ubon Joe!
Have this anything to do with people who have a non-o visa, staying
here on a "married" extension? Very confused, never really clear,
and with something like 2 hours notice!!
Or has it to do with people on the tourist amnesty?
I fail to see that they want the whole population with "retirement" extension
and "marriage" extension people jump in their cars and drive lika maniacs (Thai Style!)
to beat the deadline (today!). If anyone can clarify, it will be you!!
Sorry if I seem daft, but it is mostly clear as mud!
Cheers!
It MIGHT have. Because I am here on Non-O married, ( Renewed the 90 day permit ion to stay ewery 3 md. by going to Lao.)and as I wrote they did not want the 90 day reporting.
