Hi guys, hope someone can help me
I have the 800k in the bank for my retirement renewal in April and will keep as per new rules
But
I would like to change to the combo system, with 65,000 a month into the bank. At least with this i can spend it as i need to i believe, rather than having the lump sum sat there doing nothing
When would i need to start transferring the 65000 a month ready for next years renewal ?
Would that start 6 months before, which with the 400k in the bank should meet the requirements ?
Asked at I.O office last week but couldn't get an answer, she just kept saying you" ok, you have money" so gave up
Would appreciate any help from you guys, always seem to be a mine of information for thickies like me

help wanted guys. getting confused now
at the moment i have the 800k + in the bank ready for my annual visa in April but
i would prefer to do the 6500 a month transfers, using transferwise
How long must i show these transfers coming into my bank ?
when would i need to start doing the transfers, 12 months before next annual visa, 6 months,
can i reduce my bank to say 40k and use the transfers ?
would prefer to keep the money in my uk bank and move as needed
Sorry if these are silly questions, but seems to be so many ways to do things, and now with the new changes as well
Thanks Guys

Retirement in Phillipines, age 37 or above, $10,000 (310,000 THB) in bank get lifetime retirement visa, no passing go, no hoops or wais to do and no ninety days or rentry...plus is reduced by 50% if ex-services....thats how toyland compares
is the 310,000 baht to be kept in the bank permanently ? sounds good to me, whats the cost of living like there ?

Ahh
Thanks Elviajero
If it's only a 2000 fine when I get back then that's fine
Sorry about the confusion on dates
I should have report d 15th October, and will be 20th November when I get back
No problem with the fine, was worried about effecting my retirement visa
Thanks again, can relax now till I return

Hi guys
Just noticed that I should have reported for my 90 day on the 15 th November
I live/report in Nakon Phanom, but am on holiday in Hua Hin till Thursday, then Bangkok, then Phuket till the 19th
What is the best way to sort this out ?
What sort of cost is involved
Go to immigration in Hua Hin ,? Bangkok ?
I'm on a retirement annual visa if this helps
Thanks for any advice

its at the cheeks where it feels tight, the head is ok
i prefer a snug fit but this is the first full face helmet i've tried so wasn't too sure about it, just felt a little too snug squashing my cheeks, but then read your supposed to squash a little

hi there looking for advice on decent helmets
was thinking of a Shark helmet, full face with sun visor
price before discount is 13,000 baht, will sell for 10,000
not sure of the model, but is this make ok for the money, or should i look elsewhere for different make
will be riding 300 bike so want to upgrade from my cheap 2,000 baht helmet
Also, the helmet is extra large, but still quite tight on my head, by which i mean it a push fit and not wobble, but feels a little tight , is it like new shoes, they get better with use ?
will they ease off with use ?

Was your return open or did it have a specific date booked for return back to UK?
If it was more than 30 days did you have any questions about visas or onward flights?
my return date was fixed, about 27 days from entry to make sure i had no problems with the immigration
then went and changed my 30 tourist to a 90 day one, then finally to a 1 year one
but had heard about refusal for no return flights.
had a problem early last year when the return flight was about 40 days, took some explaining that i was going to Vietnam for a couple of weeks , but had not arranged the flights but was told OK, but had to leave before 30 days or else

i came out from the UK last year with a return ticket, still here
didn't use the return ticket back to the UK, so just another no show
but the price was cheaper for a return ticket than a single one way, so was better than buying single ticket and then a onward cheap ticket
