You do not need to do this report.
The consensus theory is that the next report will be due 90 days after the current report done or not done.
However that is only a theory because it's assumed that immigration won't want their offices packed the day after the reporting amnesty ends.
Thanks for the quick reply,
but still a little confused, (which is normal i suppose, when anything concern Thai immigration)
So (in theory) i miss this 90 day report, and then reapply when my next 90 day is due >
what happens if we are wrong ? Would it be just a fine, or something worse ?
thanks again

It’s not that difficult to order battery from lazada and change it yourself,,,or many of the small phone shops can change it.
Thanks taninthai,
was going to try that first before ordering new Pad,
Would rather let someone more skilled than me change it
Seems a shame to scrap what is still a very good machine, just for a battery
Car is in repair at the moment so a real pain trying to get to town, will wait till car is ready
Thanks again

Hi there, not sure if i am just being very thick, but am struggling to know if, and how to do my 90 day report
Its due tomorrow, 19th June, so do I, or do I not, need to report, until after the 31st ?
Have tried doing the online way, which i managed no bother last time, but now cannot even get into the pages. Have tried on iPad,( wont bring up access to pages, times out) Android phone (app wont let me register ) and on my PC, which again, will not let me get much further, when i click on "I agree" then next page, i get the boxes asking for mobile, or not mobile, neither of which works I am using Google Chrome to access these sites, so not sure what i'm doing wrong
Any advice would be much appreciated, Going to the office in person would be a real pain, car is in for repair, so hard to travel the long distance there and back

Yes, in my case the insurance company raised the premium from 14.000 to 17.000 THB, though I expected a no-claims bonus. T.I.T.
In my case, went down from 10,300 to 7,900 THB after small accident

May I sumarize : 800k Two Months before! NOT less than 800k for 3 months and NEVER less than 400k SIMPLE!!!
that depends on your office and the idiots working there. I had a copy, in Thai, and in English, showing this 2 months before, but was told NO, 3 months and refused to look at the paper, saying they did not understand it. Then they proceeded to fine me for being 1 day late in depositing the 800,000 due to being one day late according to their thinking
So no, not simples !!

So they still have checkpoints ?
Surely all the locals know of them and just use side roads to avoid ?
It is all i ever did when out on my bike, lots of ways to go round them, saves the pointless, photo, licence, passport, and questions check, and of course, the standard payments for anything they can come up with.

I was finding that excessive external heat was causing battery rundown, and started placing it on cooler surfaces or used the stand-up case to let heat dissipate.
Thanks, i often use the case , but have had it shut down before when it overheats, usual when i'm outside in the sun, so avoid that now
Think i will go for a new IPad air, Just take a couple of weeks for delivery, then its trying to find a decent case for it, cos the new Pads are slightly bigger than mine, which is a pain, cos i bought a really nice leather case while in the UK

Apple batteries have a tendency to fail quite suddenly. For a replacement, I recommend Dr. Smartphone in BKK (Asoke)
(18/8 Fico Building, 5th floor, Unit 504 21 ถนนสุขุมวิท Sukhumvit 21 (Asoke) Rd, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110)
Professional, fast no-nonsense service while you wait.
Thanks Logic. Any idea what sort of price for replacement ?
Suddenly !! It went from being long life to less than 1 hour, . Didn't know this could happens. Always thought the battery would fade more slowly over time

Did you try to reset it? I once had a problem after an IOS update and my iphone didn't charge anymore. After I reset it the problem was gone. It hasn't be the battery. Try to reset it first.
- Press and hold the top button and either volume button on your iPad.
- Continue holding them as the screen turns off.
- Continue holding them until you see the Apple logo.
- Release the buttons.
Yup, hard reset, didn't work , but thanks anyway

I don't disagree... But when the lights and siren are blaring away, it's an emergency vehicle. Stand your ground at your own legal peril.
why would they need to be so close to the car ?
It looked like the other lane was empty, so why not use that lane.
An ambulance or fire engine, yes, move out of the way, police and other idiots can make their own way through

Next time in the UK, let your Thai friend go and deal with the Transport office in Thai and see how far she gets. You don't seem to understand that even between you and your Thai friend who speaks English, there is a sh#tload of meaning lost in translation. Try learning Thai and you will see what I mean. Loosen up, you'll live longer. ????
yup, in the uk, would get proper service, which would include paperwork translated into whichever language was required, unlike in Thailand
Lost in translation, Ahhh, so the paperwork we were handed and told to fill in, the copies of Thai ID cards, House book etc, that were demanded were only a figment of imagination, and lost in translation ?
Care to explain how, the extra paperwork, became a sh##tload of meaning lost. I think they made it very clear, and much to the annoyance of the Thai speaker, no paperwork as requested, no tax.
Why would speaking Thai, as the conversation was, make any difference to the outcome ? As already stated, if you read it properly, extra paperwork was requested, without which no tax would be forthcoming . What would you recommend a Thai speaker say to the person behind the counter, "get stuffed" ? F##k off? or just accept, right or wrongly, that that is what is needed,
Loosen up ? Sometimes i do ,that depends on the customer service provided to me.

Seems like you indeed have an attitude problem. If you were able to speak the correct language (hint: not english), you wouldn't run into these issues and would know there is no guarantee needed. They try to accomodate you by trying a bit of english whch they never properly learned in school and get <deleted> thrown back at them from a foreigner. You wont get far or happy going down that path. Prepare for more runarounds in the future ???? I know you might think you are doing it right but I'd beg to differ. Let's see how long it'll take until you give up hehe
Thanks for your late reply, but perhaps you should know, ( hint not English ) ,all this was carried out in Thai, not English, so no mistake in translation in the statement, Need Thai guarantee !! Need ID card, Need house book, - No mistakes !
So a Thai, working in a position dealing with non Thais, is unable to speak English ? So not very good customer service is it ?
Yup, probably a lot more runarounds, and a whole lot more of losing face for them too,

Hi there , wondering if someone can give me some advice
Have an iPad air2m around 4 years old and until a week ago, perfect.
But its suddenly decided to lose its power, so quickly, can watch it count down till it shuts down. Get less than 45 minutes on full charge.
Can i just get a new battery fitted ? I'm in Nakhon Phanom, so definitely no access to Apple shops,
Was thinking of trying some of the local Phone stands in the shopping centers,. If battery replacement is not possible, then would need new iPad
Is Lazada any good to buy from ? and still be able to register it? Around 13.000 baht
Or do i pay much more and go direct to Apple store for delivery, but would take much longer, around 18,000 baht
Am happy with the Air2, plus have bought expensive case for it only 3 months ago,
thanks

Well, for at least 10 years people have been talking about the big crack down coming on agents.
It is never ever going to happen it is way too much money being spread throughout the entire system.
Now way, no how.
And, actually the agent facilitated applications are down now. So, less scrutiny will probably be used by IO's to get the applications through, not more.
The 25,000 b someone mentioned is not terrible as I know guys in Bangkok paying almost twice that now.
To add, not everyone who uses an agent is some non qualifier. In fact, the several I know in BKK are actually wealthy and do not want to hassle with waiting at immigration and the process, so they pay.
Paid 12,900 for visa in Pattaya 3 months ago

I mentions a week or so ago that the Mrs said that most Thais want to borders shut. Humm. TVer's scoffed. Yet, here we are.
Go figure, 'eh? Shoot the messenger.Doe's she also say this includes the dirty Thais who bring the virus back with them ? According to the goverment, we have no cases from the existing people in Thailand, which included Farangs
Why the worry with the virus, the scared Thais, who often either go without masks, or fail to wear them properly, yet will accept the death of thousand of their children on the roads ?

Some whites might, and some previously privileged blacks perhaps. But all on all no black wants to go back to a time where they would get murdered and whites would get off without a trial. People ended up disapearing never to be heard from again.
Was this happening when the so called Great Nelson Mandela was running the country ? The hundreds of blacks who were murdered and disapeared, The blacks who were promised good housing, fresh water and sanitation, jobs, etc. And how did that work out ? How about the blacks who murdered and stole the farms from the whites, the same white who managed to make that part the bread basket, with jobs for thousands of people, how are they doing now that they have the land back ?

op it seems to be that the common denominator with your problems with the DLT and car repair shop is you.
attitude is very important when dealing with people in offices etc, from a position of authority, i used to say when dealing with people, give me attitude get more of the same back.
sorry mate, far too old to start kissing someones <deleted> !
Attitude, so asking why, when told to do something by a pen pusher is Attitude ? All they have to do is explain why things are needed, not just stand there and so "you do" or :no can do"
But as usual here, people think a pen pusher is authority and will never question what they say, even when they know what they are being told is incorrect.
So the repair shop works for me ?? his contract is to the insurance company, not me, so why the need for all the paperwork from me, paperwork that their client, the insurance company has many times over. Is it wrong to be told Go away, no can do, because i dont have the paperwork that they forgot to tell me i needed ? Is it wrong for me to ask why they need it from me ?
or do i just say yes sir, no sir, and do another 95 k round trip and another morning wasted, just because he won't ask his client for the paperwork , instead of me
Do i have an attitude ? maybe, . I treat most people as i would like to be treated, with the respect they deserve, which in some cases here, can be very little.

Sounds like a new boss flexing his muscles, done mine for years car and bike no problem. I can see something like a loan but tax please you get 500 or 600 bhat every year. But Thais get also needing extra paper work.
Yup, but not new boss, i think
I agree on things like loans or HP, but a simple road tax?
What do they do with all this paperwork ?
do they even look at it ?
cos i get so piddled off i just scribble my name on it and either scribble my signature or just put an X, and nobody ever questions it
-
on another simialar vein regarding paperwork and WHY?
had a bump in the car, new back bumper, new back light
Takes it to garage as per insurance, told to come back with paperwork ??
Need passport, Visa, house book and her ID card before they can even look at the car
Also need to bring the BIG back bumper to the garage for them to look at
Cut it in two so i could get it in car, then they complain that i should have kept it whole, even though it won't fit in the car and is obviously badly damaged
Went back yesterday to see when its getting repaired, told i needed another copy of passort, insurance paper. first. Again i get crazy man look when i ask why i need these when their contract is with the insurance company, not me, Now find they want a week to refit a new bumper and back light ? I say 2 day, they say not possible !!
Love this place, but sometimes feel like banging heads to get sensible answers from them

Nice one.
Is there any restrictions on where you can renew your annual visa ??
They finally accepted it after consultation with others, but i visa issued by an official immigration office , not matter which one, is surely not a reason to refuse to issue a new green book, or to renew the tax disc ?
Really confused on 90 day report
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

Thanks for that quick and sound reply
