Just read this article and I have a question.

Just got my Non-O 1 year Visa. when entering Thailand, I was asking some immigration officer at the airport how I have to report but he didn't answer me and gave me instead a phone number: 1178 (if I remember right). So I have to report to my area-immigration officer every 3 month and that's it?

Thailand getting the grip finally. A good example is TESCO LOTUS, CAREFOUR ...etc. Local markets gets shredded because nobody can compete against a giant like that. Would be nice to see some of'em shredded.

My 64-bit Acer laptop was first running on 32-bit XP, and recently I did a fresh install of Win 7 64-bit.

The latter is much faster, especially running with FF, Thunderbird, Comodo and Avira, all in 64bit.

On the beginning its always faster. After some time you will be surprised how laggy it can get...

Actualy, the 'attack site' problem comes from students which using 'go.th' websites and running a lot of spam/scam/...'

I saw those block for a few years already. That immigration site is blocked because someone might have flagged it at mozilla

as bad -for whatever reason.

I checked it out right now, it works. Must have been some DNS problem from their site

True in Bangkok is working fine for me (youtube, hotmail, twitter, CNN ++), no speed issues and IP trace shows no interceptions. can using a proxy be illegal ?? I have been using a proxy to get UK BBC TV and other tv channels for over a year now Ooops...
