You can have a bank account with Twise. I had to set one up for my 82 year old friend here when his UK bank closed his account and he could not return to the UK to open another one. It was the London branch where my transfers go through. Changed his pension funds to be paid in to it and he is notified by them when any money goes in. A possible option. A friend of mine here, in his early 80's last year, was given notice by his bank in the UK that they were closing his bank account as he did not reside in the Uk!! Being unable to get back to the Uk because of ill health to open a new bank account, I managed to set up a bank account for him with Wise themselves and get his pensions paid into that. Did mine today for another 5 years in Kanchanaburi. Did the 1 hour listen and answer questions on line last week and was given a scan code and reference. All the usual paperwork photocopies. Rocked up at the office this morning, got in a queue and papers were checked. Stamp on break. Moving eye test.
