Everyone remembers it, but the bill "resolved the border crisis" by allowing a 5,000 a day and hiring more judges and border agents to process them in more quickly. 5,000 a day is 1,825,000 illegal aliens a year. There are twelve states with populations smaller than that. That's like letting in a city the size of Philadelphia every year. Now add to the over a million legal immigrants a year we take each year, and it's like letting in a city the size of Chicago, the third largest city in the US, every year. Great plan.
