When there is a waiting period for new cars, why would one think they's been sitting around for months for waiting to ship? As I understand it, the manufacturer's warranty starts from the date the first owner receives it. If someone is selling a "new" car without a new car warranty, while it might be a great deal, the car is not new.

If I bought an older vehicle with an automatic transmission and no service records, I would then take it to B-Quik (or some-such) while the oil is very hot and have them do the "re-refine" filtering/flushing process. Then, after driving it for over a thousand km I would take it back to B-Quik (or some-such) and have them drop the pan, replace the strainer and change it to the correct, factory specified fluid. Then after driving it another ten thousand km I would take it back to B-Quik (or some-such) and have them change it with the correct fluid again.

Not sure where you drive, but I see them all the time on concrete roads, so not just on black top.

Nice new pumps and convenient to where I fuel and have the car washed. I think I was getting better milage, but have not checked in a while, and it takes a lot of data to really see a difference. Yes, I have a member for PT, a small discount on fuel, 50% off on 10 drinks month at their PunThai coffee shops and 10% of Coffee World shops. I like the PunThai shops and where I get the car washed it is huge and has great seating, which works out nice. My wife has the Blue Card and does something with the points. -

So one to ten, how did you like it? -
Yes, we all know how much you love having a leisurely lunch at a pump while on a road trip...

But Trump's not a Democrat, so what the confederate flags? Everyone knows Democrats are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, Bull Conner, George Wallace and segregation. -
I heard Trump is a big supporter of EVs

What test are you talking about, and what is AVia? -
No, you replied to a post with something that had nothing to do with it. Fact. This is the post you responded to: Fact. To which you responded: "It's well documented that Trump's trying to get out of putting up the bond. Fact." Fact. That has nothing to do with: "Everybody else needs to post 110% before an appeal." Fact. Now, do you have anything that supports the claim that "Everybody else needs to post 110% before an appeal." or not?

A lot of people love this kind of stuff, and it was a pretty epic production. Huge plot holes have to be ignored, but audio and special effects are great. -
Electric Vehicles in Thailand

Date, brand, kilometers at fill, liters, total cost of fill-up, cost per liter, kilometers per liter previous fill-up, fuel type The last four columns are totals since purchase: Kilometers, liters of fuel, Kilometers per liter, miles per gallon. The brand and fuel type so I can sort and check the average milage of different fuel brands and types. Someone claimed: "The fortuna <sic> will be drinking like a camel @120kmh." so I made a joke about camels going a long time without a drink. Then for whatever reason you jumped in and effectively called me a liar, (which annoys me (when I am not lying) more than when some random know-nothing talks smack about my ride), so I posted records that support my claim. Not sure what you are trying to do by jumping in and calling me a liar. Care to elaborate? I do not think buying an EV is silly, and I never said as much. I have said there are some reasons for buying EVs are silly. That said, I do think that someone posting on a car forum that knows they are looking at fuel records can't even tell the date in a spread sheet and figure out at least a few of the other columns is a bit silly. -

Since I've been in Thailand, I've had two Toyotas (a pick-up and a Fortuner) and four Isuzu pickups. I'm driving a Toyota now, but do not think you can go far wrong with either. All were good units with not problems. I like the Isuzu better and think it's the better value and it's on a newer platform. Almost (I think) 10% cheaper than the Toyota and the service is about 50% cheaper and no up-selling. I've a number of Fords in my life including two pickups. One was 20 years old when I sold it, and the other was 30 years old when it got stolen. They were both great, but I did have to put a clutch in both as well and brakes and whatnot. Unless you're really out in the sticks, I would not get the 4 X 4. Costs more to buy, more parts, and costs more to service. I had one for four years & 200,000km when I lived out in the province and loved it, but I only ever used the 4WD once, and that was just to try it. Had two Highlanders after that. If you don't need the 4 doors, don't get it. Costs a good bit more and the bed is much smaller. That said, the two-doors only really have two seats. Go and look at them and drive them. Buy what you like.
