  1. No official honda information?
  2. Honestly, not much less than 800 baht a night without pool worth looking at. Some seaside guesthouses at jomtien with big rooms have great deals for around 18k a month, no pool though
  3. Ever lived there? Shared bath rooms? No pool, breakfest?
  4. For those who invested on 1nok - 6,3 baht and sold at 2,83, made quite good money. I know one who invested above 6, and managed to get out at exactly the lowest point.
  5. This the cheapest standard with breakfest I use when traveling, except some convenient stays at Hop In where they are decent central. Very rear I come by any cheaper than this lately. During covid it was 700 baht included breakfest. https://maps.app.goo.gl/p1HYJkPruo2TRL5Y8
  6. I was ready to spend 8 million baht at a condo with sea view, and those who I liked was around 12 and up, so I postponed it for better exchange rate. Since then our valuta have plummeted several times. So I have spent alot less than I planned to.
  7. Well, some there is no hope for,
  8. Of course, but Im able to understand some thai, same as I understand Spanish and German, and also some useful frazes
  9. I totally agree with your points of view, but still, just to refer to your last sentence, it is a risk Im willing to take and if I loose no regrets. Now she learning my language, because she is moving here to me, so the situation is turned the other way. The hospital I used in Bangkok all of them spoke english who as appointed to me when arriving as well the other staff and dr. The local hospital, also at least those who gave me my covid vaccine, and the dr I spoke to there when I registered
  10. Live like you would do home, as you where working with routines waking up early and start the day with something that engages you, as well home cooking is valuable advises.
  11. I will be fishing -) Have been to the tracks and tested my bikes, getting boring after awhile, even you compete against yourself. Watching sports is not my strongest side, I like to do them myself. Exception World games or bigger events in sports I enjoy watching. Motorsport is not one of them
  12. 2,5k posts in the beginning of next week, since April C mon
  13. Take that as a compliment, thank you 😄
  14. We all seems to be stuck here daily for now, Im looking for a substitute, but it is only as much I can do in gym, and fishing at the moment, as well hiking, when not working where I even have 12 hours to sit here daily just to pass time. Quit social media to deal with my addiction, and ended up here daily
  15. Everyone who get stucks one or the other place tends to be a little bit stuck in their mind to. Just a few friends i used to ride with, who was as fresh as me, and have been through a few rough rollercoasters with women, now have a very narrow view on women in general, and especially thai women. Im quite sure they where aldready damaged before they arrived, and thought everything was going to be better here, but now stuck on short time only. And every time they go with a new fresh lady from dating sites, realize they are up for a whole plan of future with expectations far above what they desire.
  16. thats an honest reflection, and for most, hard to admit. So respect
  17. It was the hottest year in Thailand for me, and it was a good reminder if this is the normal in 10 years Im out
  18. Nice climate and clean air, fresh quality beef? Another semi dictatorship and turbolent politics and not as safe and friendly outside tourist areas. but still nice climate, nice beaches, warm and educted available women. Cant drive as free and safe without risk for being robbed on motorbikes back country, but hips of other possibilities to have another adventures in the rainforrests and other places. https://www.iqair.com/brazil/ceara/fortaleza
  19. Then Isaan is not for me, Im long gone, and most likely never visit Thailand again. I already left Thailand for now, and my wife follow next year. Still going to spend cold season there thow.
  20. If you regret something, you learned something by admitting you did something wrong, and willing to correct.
  21. The last 8 years visiting and living in Thailand, it was the hottest year I have experienced this spring/rainseason or lack of start of rainseason. I cant really tell before that because I always stayed on Islands or beach destinations
  22. or worse you think they are, and they are not, so easy to misunderstand and make confusions, as well say wront things convinced you speaking fluently thai. My wife always points out when I meet foreigners who say they speak flyently, they do not, but they are to politie to tell them as well correct them
  23. Drinking and bed friend above 75, doesnt seem like a useful mix. Even now I struggle finishing being intoxicated
  24. Im happy I semi retired early, gave it a chance and found out this was way to early, and also I learned for me Thailand is not where I want to be when Im getting older. For those guys who retired early 2000 it must have been great, or better because of stronger valuta compared to Thai baht, the atmosphere, and I also believe it have been alot warmer the last 5 years than my earlier experiences. Myabe just because I get older, I do not know, but I struggle with doing things outside when it get to hot, and do not thrive being locked up inside in aircondition rooms instead of outside doing something.
