Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Hummin replied to Rimmer's topic in The War in Ukraine
And the result of his bravery we see being played out real time today. As I answered in the other post, we do not know what would had happenend if he had fled, and the status of Ukraine today, but for sure, the total destruction of borders cities would had been avoided, and many civilian lifes would had been saved. Not to think about 100 of thousands of soldiers. Who knows the true death tolls on both side by now? -

Well he expected a short war alike Georgia, he was wrong. Now he plays to long run, and who is hurting? We had people here and world news predicting collaps of Russia in 6 months, then 8 months, then after 12 months, now? Russian building connections world wide, while the west controlling amount of weapons delivered and what tech Ukrainians are allowed to use, and which targets is legitime. Ukrainians is being tired down on the frontline, terrorized for years, and how long do you think Zelensky will manage to keep the moral up? How many more years with trench war will it be? It is something about treating the devil, and make the devil greater. We will never know what would had been the best solution, now we have to deal with status Q, and that is to make sure Putin do not win. -
Israel targets Hamas military leader; 71 killed in Mawasi strike
Hummin replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
The problem is, you trust the Israely goverment and IDF solely, and not open for any other information. You are played big time, and useful for the Israeli propaganda. An easy target mildy said. The more I see of some posting here, the more I actually dislike the Israelis, so on the other hand, it works different and against its agenda for others, even Hamas is an terrorist organisation, and a brutal one, the Palestinian cause is easy to sympatze with, and not the Israelis who have a long history of cruel and brutal methods to gain more land. But again, what the Israelis doing, is been done throughout the history, and if it wasnt the Israelis, it would had been the opposite way. Thats the nature of it, still there is innocent people who suffering for a bigger game, -
I built a complete gym from this guy/company. Machines, racks, dumbells and freeweights. Additionally I got treadmill and rowing machine, and many different accessories bought on Lazada. I think I invested maybe 300k in my gym, and worth every penny. Today, I might had invested in anchors points and elastic power bands, but still, cant beat the feeling of real weights. Simple and works for affordable prices. https://www.gymware.com/index.php

What makes life in Thailand still so great?
Hummin replied to BangkokBernie's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I could live in Pai for awhile actually. It is nice down by the rivers a bit outside where the rivers seems clear and clean. Refreshing to sup and kayak padle there as well swimming. Got my dirt bikes where there is hips of options for expeditions in any directions on jungle tracks and dirt roads. Can travel for days in that area visiting smaller resorts. Thats kind of exotic and different. -

I know everybody lies, thats the nature of it. Still the truth is as I said above, no matter what the numbers is, civilians is targets, and being terror bombed by a terrorist state doing war crimes who have abused, deteined and killed innocent people for decades, and stolen their land. Thats the truth. Hamas war crimes and terror attacks we know, and no need to comment, it is terror on same level as Israel. Two evil doesnt make one righ! When you admint that, I will not comment anymore, but your bias and a few others, is annoying and ignorant -
There is alot of crazy people in the states, but for politicians to take out each other, would not be tactical smart. If ones head is a target, everyones head is a target, and same rule is between leaders in war. They very rearly take each other out if not overwhelming power, and little risk for revenge. Will be interesting to look at the polls after this attempt, I guess his popularity will increase dramatically, and if he had succeeded hell would had broken out.

Boredom is the biggest challenge in Thailand. I at more ease and kreativ back home than in Thailand. The best thing with Thailand for me when first came here, was walking the beach and swim in the morning. But after that you got a 14 hours to fill in with something. -

Its in the Russian blood. The chaos after Jeltsine needed a strong hand, unfortunate it became a well trained KGB agent with motivation for a great Russia again. Just Pray Trump never gets back in the seat on the other hand. -

What did you expect thinking back on all neighboorhood interventions, not only Russias since the 9o'ies. It is an automatical response from any power who feel they have anything to say or loose. What is mindbugging, is what EU and Us promised before the invasion started, that led Zelenskyj think he could win anything by stsmaying and fight this war. -

It's open for everyone, but for most life starts to get a bit different when reaching a certain age, and 75 seemed right. I'm aware of some is 80when they are 60, and some is 80 and seems to be in their young 70'ies. Just a number
