Same as bob, I present personal experiences, and I have a few friends who runs hotels and restaurants who had the same experiences. No pier revied science, just observations. Most of those who normally travels for holidays abroad, now travelled in Thailand. Middle and upper class do have different standards than average Bob and Joe. I really do not feel the same as Bob and feel Im pretty much treated the same way as before.

Thais who travelled to places mostly visited by foreigners, contributed to a different athmosphere, and those who work in the tourist industry, liked what they saw. We travelled alot during the covid, and it was the best time ever without crowde places of western or other asian tourists. You have to remember, Chineese tourists is not especially popular either.

I never stop to be amused, when coming back to Norway during this area of keeping emmission down. All my friends and most other average people, have invested in new high tech homeproducts, transportation, home inventions or just for fun gadgets. And something new appears for every time I return. Boats getting bigger and bigger engines, El bikes more advanced, China cars everywhere, robot grass cutters, kitchen gadgets, cabins with electric drive ways to keep snow and ice free entrance in the wintertime, And people continue complaining no matter how much more things they do not really need have to have because neighbours just got one. Families have food delivered on the doorstep, HM clothing is cheaper than Thailand, or in general, good quality is cheaper than Thailand, so there is no excuse to not buy more than you need.

I'm sure the world would had been better of without you and me, and 7 billions other of the same 😉 If we was never burned, we would not know right? At the end it really doesn't matter, so why not just go full on blast as long it lasts?
