  1. That would be our best option for most of us! I have given up finding any trusted Information in this tread related to the information we have for now. We just have to wait and see how this will play out for the future. I'm ready to check out at day 179, or make it 178, just to be sure ????
  2. To be earnest, those chickens, is not worth the time ???? Tried a couple of the local chickens, and as said, not much to do with them, except make a delicious soup on it with all necessary ingredients and you want taste the chicken at all.
  3. See the post before yours. It explains it very well. We are back to the basics, to acknowledge we living in an unpredictable country, and never cut your ties with wherever you come from, or position yourself with no outs. Fits very well in my world. For those who already jumped on the tax train, for the purpose of paying less tax total, might regret lærer, or maybe not. Wait and see.
  4. Even before all facts is on table? I have learned that the storm we see after press releases by thi government, useally is just stirring up alot feelings, page by page members arguing and making predictions, and i the end nothing changes. Most here Im sure coming from countries who is part of the tax deal? If not, wait and see what you actually have to deal with. The only thing I have said, Im not going to pay tax to Thailand if there is no benefits for me, just paperwork.
  5. Christ sake, so much doom day negativity before anyone really knows how this is going to turn out. For most my best guess, it will continue as it have done, but for those who already have tax number, it will be easier to squise a few more baht from. The very same who claimed a tax number on long stay visa, have done it to save paying tax to their orign country. It is a very good reminder, that what we have today, might not continue the same way in future.
  6. Seriously, it is thailand and same as Philippines, there is chickens everywhere. Fence off your land, and if it gets inside, let your dog solve the problem. Except from that, not much you can do, and if you remove the problem, it will only be temporary.
  7. Chicken soup
  8. To pay tax in Thailand and get the tax paid deducted from double taxation, most I know who do it, pay someone to do it. Scandinavian law take 25 000,- to do all necessary paperwork, including tax declaration in Norway.
  9. Phase 1 23.06.26 12:00 Phase 1 06/23 2026 12pm
  10. If I pay taxes in Thailand, I will deduct my paid taxes in my home country, and that's why other expats got their tax numbers, to pay less tax. Most of the European countries have that tax deal.
  11. Why did you get a tax number in first place? Pay lower tax here, and save deduct tax paid home?
  12. I dont think I pointed a finger at you either ???????? Just pointed a finger at small men with no honor
  13. Thank you for mentioning that, and as said earlier, small men who bother to use confused icons as it is, and call it stupid, have nothing to contribute with. Lazy bastards I would say with no honor. Do I care? Should I care? If you could be so nice to explain what you think was stupid to ask what his solution was? To many different people on this board to care at all about a few nut heads.
  14. Everything can change if they going to tax me for no benefits in return. Now I bring steady cash flow in for no cost at all, and have no rights which I accept for now. And thanks to the one who gave me the confused icon ???? You are an inspiration.
  15. Exemption, tourist visa, extension, fly out fly in, and now getting my third retirement. All depending on my work and travel. I planned my renewal for future to be when Im for sure here, so from now retirement.
  16. Well, big business Musks is depended on the government support to reach his goals, ev cars, tunnels, space rockets,,,,,,,,,
  17. Oh, ???? Thanks you proved my point
  18. Politics is subjective with very few proofs who is riding the wave someone else created or not. Impossible to measure few years against 10 - 20 and 30 years. Believing One president changes the economy in 4 years is utterly stupid, especially thinking variable factors conserning happenings outside control. The weapon deals he did with Saudi, we will regret
  19. The problem is, when our authorities decide something, it is a slow train wreck, while China turn around and got the hypersonic train and resources to accomplish what they decide. When the we learn to pull in same direction, we might win, but I have no hope spoiled westerns ever will understand how this diversity hurt us. I do not agree in the green solutions, but I understand the importance to jump on the train to get a head start and win the race. Making the car and wehiricle industry green, means alot of jobs, and lot of opportunities for the future.
  20. It is us against them, as always, so if you are even right about a fraction of what you believe, Russia always wanted a bigger role and bigger part of the cake, as everyone wants. Usa trying to be the world leader as good they can, but unfortunate loosing the battle at their own soil.
  21. My next motorbikes going to be EV. Not yet, but in a few years I will exchange my crf 300 And later my big bike will be EV to next year I will buy a new last year model b7 double cab Triton I guess on campaign. No way Im jumping on the EV for a car yet.
  22. Joe Roagen do have som people skills to have good conversations with a wide range of people, but he is all over the place, from serious science to aliens.
  23. 4 years is all he needed to ruin Obamas work, and steal the good work, for then ruin it! No wonder the country going down the drain
