Nice try ????

I succeded, I retired at 47, now I have safety assets spread out. I have my future options separate, and I call that plan a, b and c. I'm committed in Thailand, but not stupid.
-
I plan, I learn from my mistakes, I fall forward when fail, I take risks, I trust and I think outside the box! Of course Denzel have a plan b! He got assets, he got credit and royalties, and he got wealth.

a half kg of laughing gass could be nice to

You make plan A and B, and if B also goes to hell, you use plan C. Elementary

Still 15 years total 22 years at that time. Wife own land houses, and a landlord in the village, so everything will be downpaid after 10 years. After that every year will be a bonus year. Low maintenance fee also play a role of course.

Buying an apartment can be a success if you find the right location and run by a good management which already is 5 - 10 years old. It takes a bit work, but it can be done. Renting is just throwing money out of the window if you have long term perspective. But it is the safest to rent of course for other reasons. Neighbour's is one strong reasons to rent only if you going to live there yourself.
-
AS a plan b, I can buy an apartment in Bangkok as an safety asset, but I'm unsure how it would be to sell and bring cash out the day I might need it. I do not trust Thailand, to invest to much here, and I'm unsure of my future here after 70.

You need to be a tax payer to have property in Norway, however you can own leisure property. I'm still a taxpayer with an adress in Norway regardless how many days or years I spend abroad.
-
If you have a house and would like to return or keep a plan b, you sell your house, and reinvest in an apartment. I haven't been back to my apartment since 2013, and basically run by itself. When I'm back in Norway, I only go for work, family and friends, the apartment I manage to solve online only. I had the same tenant now for 7 years.

Is it better to be single or attached in Thailand?
Hummin replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
For some it take years to brake up, and who to blaim? The relationship itself as an institution? Or the one who accept to stay in an unhappy unhealthy relationship? Some can't just save themselves, and need coaching, unfortunate to many grasp bad coaches, and therefore the popularity of toxic characters like Tate gain popularity. -

Most of the time I speak about my experiences and my needs as well expectations, and my ideas, unless there is historical and scientific proofs to lean on. I know for most being in a healthy relationship is better both for physical and mental health. As you say, it is not for everyone out of many reasons, and for some complex reasons. Some is just better of single for their own sake and others -

Do not worry, I think most of us understand your intellectual capacity and capabilities. At least you recognize click baits. All of them, so we don't have to. Thank you for your contribution -

C-mon, if you having your best time in life at the moment, and later you brake up, you still had your best time in life up to that moment? What happens after is then, and you getting new chances to fix what was the real problem leading to disaster. Up and go and try again. Living alone is not an option, not living in bad relationships either, but I will never give up. Men live more healthy and longer with a good partner! Pure statistics -

Single in Chiang Mai and Samui, you will run out of options who do not know you, or who know someone who know you out of those who will mingle among western foreigners. Even Hua Hin the word of you travel faster and longer before you find a new one ???? Single would be best in BKK if Asian women is the only target. In my younger days, had more luck in places like Ao Nang, Koh Tao, Samui, when it came to Western women. -
I have family and 3/4 of my resources back in homeland, and still freelancing for work occasionally. Never going to burn my bridges!

Behind pay wall, so just wait and see, as well reported in Norwegian news last hour as well. Putin finds it interesting thow an amusing to last news about Poland and great for more propaganda. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-09-21/poland-says-it-s-still-supplying-ukraine-with-weapons#xj4y7vzkg
-
I cant find an article where they try to make an u-turn on the statements, but in a few hours there will be several news articles trying to calm down the prime ministers statements. Poland have been one of the biggest contributors, and will still be one of the most important allies. The statement was about their new weapons as far I can see for the moment. More will come in the next ours to clearify what he really ment.
-
That is a big misunderstanding, and most likely a calculated click bait from the media. Polen is Natos big dog, and will jump if told.

Beautiful areas, but I would prefer Chiang Rai first I could also lived in Korat area as well, a city which have everything but also have the landscape, national parks and mountains close by, as well getting the infrastructure with elevated highways to BKK, and not to forget the high speed train also coming.

It is to easy to write off Ukraine now, since the world (Western Allies) is on their side and will not let Ukraine go down the drain. You also forget Ukraine have great mineral resourches as well important food resourches much needed to the world. The truth is, Russian Invaded Crimea and later also Ukraine border cities as well tried to capture the capital. Even there where russians and Ukraines who speak russians in those border cities, they where Ukraines and the rest is pure border conflicts made by insurgants backed by either sides or independent groups making living in those areas a hell. Both sides use propeganda and Ukraine was one of the worst corrupt countries in Europa. What will happens after the war one day end? We will build up Ukraine, make bilateral deasl with them, and control the resourches they have for our best! Ukraine will not loose. Simple as that

The Marshall Plan made unbreakable bonds for Usa and their markeds, and was a great long term investment for Usa, that still pays off.
