???? Im not here to make you open your eyes in a case you obviously takes personally. Either you understand it or not, it just takes a little bit view on a matter from another side of it, not only through your own Illusions. Have a good day

Normally before when younger I met people where I travelled through activities, parties, and sports. I met my wife through friends in a tourist destination.

If your loved one gives you a severe rash, I would reconsider my love for that person

We just have to agree to disagree, no problem. Im not going to waste my time on someone who do not see the difference in the power balance between women and your self in your home country who most likely is independent and their future is not based on having a economic strong husband (western I suppose?) And a woman from Thailand who most likely make less than you spend in one or two days at holiday, than here make in a month. A woman's who's reputation and face will fade the more men she goes out with, as well her self respect fading away. Anyway, culture, psychology and where we was 50 - 70 years ago, is long gone and forgotten, and that surprised me thinking of the average age in here. To be true, I have never met so many deleted people and egoistic people in my life with no emphasis or respect for other people as I have in Thailand, and who openly brag about. Makes me wonder where you have been while living here longer than me.

1.5 million Thai youths are suffering from depression, numbers rising
Hummin replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Valid reasons I do not want kids In Thailand growing up here! I would not know how to be a good father, not manage to give them what I believe is a healthy and sound childhood, as well the best experiences to manage life when growing older. Good Education and sports is to expensive here, and It would left me as an 70 year old father when they probably needed me most when they finish the school, establish family on their own, and having Grand children who also needs a grandfather to look up to. -
What I say by experience travelling and living in Thailand for 20 years, many tourists exploit women who are not prostitutes, and use their trust and feelings for only receive a goodbye after end of holiday. They girls left behind after been promised a future. Cant understand that is so hard to understand they have feelings to, and do not expect or want to be used as holiday candy. I understand they are stupid and should have known better, same as every tourist who fall in love and leaving Thailand with promises the girls will wait for them, and first thing the girl do, is to pick up a new victim. More genius men here seems to understand the later scenario better, than the girls also gets scammed.

Respect is overrated! To many people expect respect without deserving it, or never done anything to deserve it.
-
You cant think of scenarios where tourists exploits women in Thailand? Hansume "rich" foreigners promise a bright future, use the ladies for free, and leave them, and then go somewhere else? There is a number of members here who claim they never paid for a lady, but have a book full of tricks how to find normal ladies, use them, and leave them.

Thats my point, but there is no control mechanisms or quality control or standard of who should be allowed to guide people like other critical institutions where harm and exploiting is a risk. Im sure we can agree there is a jungle out there of charlatans who benefits of peoples trust in their practice. Abuse is a common problem when it comes to belief systems no matter what it is. Anyway this is a roundabout discussion with no end and no answers except it is a norm, and we are manipulated to believe what we want to believe and make that as our truth. We make our own Illusions, and thats why everyone of us should be careful to say we know the truth.

Low life's is those who come here and exploit women and give them nothing, except broken dreams. Socalled freeriders who finely push girls in to the more serious business after numbers of fails and vad experiences, and become a pro!

There is alot of shame in failing to!

In matter to spread religion and spiritualism to inspire others, and let other people know there is a way, it is necessary to take ownership and capitalize it.

You travel with one card only? -
True, but my fav age 35 +- have never been a problem when I was younger and now mid 50'ies. Thailand is the best budget country where you get a little bit of everything from dirt cheap to cheap 5 star experiences that really is only 4 star ????. Clima used to be a huge factor, but it is hot wet and cold as any other countries, but still better. Nothing beats the big bike adventure riding in Thailand when it comes to roads, other Infrastructure and possibilities. You can keep on going for a few 100ks and never gets boring, and you are never afraid to loose your license, but in change for your health and life. Makes it more interesting ???? Used to love the beaches and the beach life, now it is ok with a few weeks a year, or a few long weekends at our favorite Island. Life is less complicated in Thailand if you manage to stop be irritated by minor idiotic things, that can be big issues if you let them become big issues, as we read in the later tread where a wife run over the neighbors dog! Never let yourself become stuck anyplace, meaning be ready to leave what you built or paid for in change for something better.

Wife Drove Over Neighbour's Dog
Hummin replied to Brewster67's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
Well living in a non gated neighborhood, comes with a lot of negatives, I would rather move than live in a place where I did not thrive, and getting fantasies about killing animals and people. Simple as that -
FS people quote Einstein as an expert on religion, even he may have answered a few questions about who created all this, I do not see his answers as any more important than any other individuals. He might had valid points when it comes to how everything is built and came together alike studying a car, but who was the designer is not given by studying the cars when finished assembled if no signature. Who designed the pyramides?
-
Thats exactly what Dawkins and Fry is calling out, not individuals who believe in something!?

Best way is to adress it to the owners, threaten them to pay the damages to your car if their dog run out and hit the car before you have the incident. Normal practice in our village is to claim some chickens missing is the dogs is let lose and is a problem. Or they just poison them if not take better care or not pay up. I do not recommend poison, it is a horrible death for them -
Spirituality is not just spirituality, it is also control, money driven, exploiting of confused mental ill needed people who have totally lost direction in life, promises given, money taken, and execute both mentally abuse and sexual abuse. As well capitalistic driven hence book, membership, volunteer work for the organisation/temple, be it work for free, collect or missionary work. There is alot of brainwashing and control involved by using simple mass succession methods to convince and give people socalled true experiences. A dirty business same as organized religion with same goal. I say this as a picture of many organizations who run spiritualistic camps and organisations not individuals who manage themselves without exploiting others.

It will never be the dogs fault, thats my statement. It is the owners and the regulations that should protect the dogs and people that is missing.
