Sharks have some great options. light weight, safety and weight for a decent price. If you go touring, and also drive in villages and cities, a modular helmet is a good solution to. Honda have their own H2C budget helmets if you finds shark to expensive. https://www.thaihonda.co.th/honda/motorcycle/helmet I prefer buying my Shoei helmets in Europe, and bring them to Thailand. Asian head is a bit different from average European head.

Depending on what you use the helmet for, but once you got one thumb sized bug hit your face once at greater speed than 60km/h you prefer full face helmet. Was riding with one who got his cheek cut open by a big mf a few years ago,.

Enough of this bull pie contest and generalized stupid comments and discussions you continuously contributing to because of your black hearth and jealousy. Must be hard to observe happy couples walking around in sin city

Riding motorcycles in Thailand - What you need to know
Hummin replied to CharlieH's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
You need to know the local pattern of driving, and keep the traffic behind you. Full safety gear for big bike and long trips. I do ride in flip flop and without helmet to 7/11, but I know it is stupid. Still,,, Riding bikes in Thailand requires an active riding style, unless you leave your destiny in hands of other people. Safe riding -

I have a different view on my lifestyle and activities today, than back then. There is not much to do in life when you have some excess energy, creativity and think A4 life is the dead end. I was lucky to have challenging work as well, so I could channel my energy through work as well. Anyway, I think we need to aknownledge A4 lifestyle is a dead end when everything getting to polished and structured as well illegal. Some people are born worriers, and need alternative lifestyles and challenges in a world where there is no more fighting for their existence -

One who have done it, and not riding as a passenger in a minivan in Thailand after two paid suicide rides, still think you have statistics on your side if you choose minivan transport, even in Thailand. One of my friends and who I met throughout my base jumping carrier who are not with us anymore in the video below. My statistics based on maybe I met 300 basjumpers from all over the world, 67 are dead by base jumping and a few more died of suicides, car accidents, skydiving, drugs. So in total 80 maybe without trying to figure out every one who is still alive or not. High risk takers tends to meet Darwin somewhere along their journey, ending up dead or somehow crippled for lifetime. I'm maybe 2 out of 3 who made an active jumping carrier and got out of it without any harm or damage. I know many who got mental health issues after facing friends die in front of them, and never recovered either. -
If inflammation, check your diet, and your daily routines. Good back solution to strengthen your back without pushing to much while it hurts, easy walks at sand beaches, soft relaxing massages, and swimming for the beginning.

Well said, but still, to kill someone, could just be knocking someone down at low speed coming straight out behind a truck or car, and your attention is somewhere else at a car speeding past. Impossible to know and judge based on the OP. -

From experience, many groups ride way faster through populated areas than most, but so do many thais, and when accidents happens, It is because of others lack of paying attention, and do as they useslly do, just crossing the street without even looking, but that is no excuse. Me, we as a group knows this, and therefor more careful around villages and other populated areas. -

I'm sure one or a few in the group had video of the incidents, and their riding pattern up to the incidents happened. To many stupid members jumping emotionally on their keyboards without knownledge or facts. If he proved driving recklessly, he will pay great for his mistakes. Sad for the family involved, and his life will never be the same again. -

Life is full of conflicted activities, we all have one or more on our conscience. Risk takers, and people who is good at taking calculated rusk have its purpose when crises appears, where others do nothing out of fear, freeze or pure egoism let others do the dirty job for them without risking anthing themselves. When that is said, risk takers comes in many forms and shapes, and not one is alike the other one, except the copy cats who comes after the pioneers have tried and failed for then take part for their personal egoistic reasons. -

Not really, but accidents happens, same as if you drive high speed at the highway to much to often to stupid, you will finely have an accident. Back in the days when I started we figured out an estimated statistic 1 fatal jump pr 1000 jumps, in the early 2000 around 1 fatal jumps pr 2500, but organized jumps we had from KL tower and Petronas excided those numbers greatly and very few accidents happened in organized events world around. Can't say an exact number since I have been out for so many years now, but more than 10 000 jumps for each fatality. This is high risk activity that is easy to do for anyone who want to do, but reckless stupid activity pays off in worst ways, as well lack of talent and understanding. I survived around 500 jumps before retirement. I started out without any profiled jumpers around me, and very few base jumpers where active at that time. Many who had done one or two, but very few who jumped actively. Bandit jumps in the city at night was one of the most thrilling exiting jumps I did, as well day blasting in Paris jumping the "Le Grande Arch" at Saturday lunch time. Was chased by security and police for hours. Great party at Budda bar later that evening. Opening new big walls was another thrill back then when nobody else had jumped before you. -

Base jumping, not skydiving. Skydiving is from airplanes, and base jumping is from fixed objects, such as Building Antenna Span Earth- 52 replies

They have patience, time and human resources. Ukraine have only aid from allies. The fighting spirit is about to die, it is just a matter of time Ukraine have to give in, and we the allies, is running out of important resources and high tech weapon to continue supporting Ukraine. One more major conflict, and we are struggling. That's the hard facts -

Have I judged you for you and your lifestyle, or your generalized opinions?

How many times do you and scuba need to repeat that in every possible tread available, without knowing the people you continously repeat it to? For some it might be true, but why is it so important for you guys being the messenger of the gospel?
