Just see how much love and compassion there is in every tread when someone feel like they where called out. They just push a confused negative emotion on every post they disagree with. Think they do it anonymously

It was more wider genre of topics before. Farming, sports, construction,.but I guess the continously negativity finely killed the spirit to contribute with anything at all. After all, everyone who build and have a life outside Pattaya is complete idiots and also paying their prostitute wife for sex. Give it enough time, and this forum is just a bunch of negative creeps.

Have you been thinking about going tona retreat somewhere? Koh Phangan or Ching Mai ? I was at Koh Phangan a few day at a retreat, but I focused mostly on yoga and breathing techniques for my freediving. Some few good places there and very socially established. What do you want to achieve?

Exploration of the Virgin Birth That Maybe Wasn’t

Whatever Jesus once was, it have become pure politics at once the romans accepted the faith in the years of 300. First Constantine the great and later Theodosius -
Even in our village they started 5:30 with music, drums or chanting in a lovely mix, and it is on and off all day, and sometimes all night. At the Hotel next to Central in Rayong we had concert going on until midnight both days. Tit

I do, but couldn't help being reminded George's topic when we walked the beaches especially around the 7/11's. Also seeing elderly men sit alone eating in quite large numbers do give an impression of many lonely in those areas. Might be they are happy, I wouldn't know what kind of happiness that would be, being alone day after day, just relating on friends around in Pattaya, the older I get. That is not what I'm searching for my later days, being alone without a gf or wife, and hopefully the wife I got today. Making us in to the 22. year together when I reach my 70. Anyway that is my dream, and I will make sure I do what I can to make it happen.

Wise word, very wise word, considering our previously talks about beliefs and beliefs systems. Logic is an easy word to pronounce, but practice logics, or common sense, seems to be a different matter for most -

Seems many members happiness is tied up politically, economically, or in good health or their relationship to gf, wife or family in general. I do not believe happiness comes from friendships, but friends contributes to better social life, and also comfort. I would ask the members here, what would you do to make 2025 better than 2024?

I would like to agree, but any activity that requires reaction, reflexes, time, timing and execution of instincts or planned reaction decreases the older you get. Driving a car is more forgiving than having an accident with motorcycle. Small accidents can turn out worse for an elderly due to healing time, and also small incident can lead to chronic issues, that normally heals when younger.

I hope so, but can't stop thinking, I'm going to do what I can to not end up like what I felt I saw, and think I saw.

Just visited Jomtien and Pattaya, I have to give Georgy right. So many old men strolling around alone, eating alone, sitting alone and more elderly men sitting at the beach roads. Can't remember I see so many before without the spark in their eyes, and just look like walking dead. Something have happened sine last time I visited. Sad, really And also noticeable men with holiday gf or wife, the same, no smiles, no sparks in their eyes. Jomtien and Pattaya have truly became last stop for many who moved to paradise. Not even old many of them 60'ies and up I would guess, but acting like 80

For short rides, atv is a great choice for those who manage to step over the seat. Add one.box at the front and one at the back, you got room for some decent shopping as well.

It is the Chinese restaurant syndrom. My best guess, money laundering and investment scam. We will see what the government will do next year, and do as promised starting to shut down the business.

Most should quit the motorbike riding long time before your age, but if that's one of the things giving you the power to live, enjoy as long you can. Ride on

Got a mom with developing dementia, and she is still happy even she knows it. Struggle more with periodically gout. Myself, I want to live as long I manage to enjoy my morning coffe and still have an positive outlook on life in general. I would not put a number to it. My father at 85, still thrive, have plans, happy to see family and friends, go Spain for 6 months a year, drive car, still walking 5 times a week, but stopped running a few years ago. If I'm like him, I would be happy to live as long as possible. His Mom got to be 94, but his father died at 77. Two of my friends fathers, fell off their boat while fishing alone in their 80'ies, doing what they loved most in their life. Coincidence? Maybe.
