Yep. When Trump say that's the way it's going to be, then that's the way it's going to be. Except for here, and here, and here. President Donald Trump said in an interview on Fox News that the administration is working to develop a temporary pass for immigrants who work in certain industries, which would mark the latest shift in the administration’s approach to immigration enforcement for farmworkers https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/trump-administration-working-temporary-pass-immigrants-farm-industries-rcna215806

Any of those parents seeking work will now find it more difficult to do so as Trump once again has come out in favor of an amnesty for illegal aliens in agriculture (one of his big donors) and hospitality (in which he himself owns properties). Hospitality, in particular, would be a good job source but Trump is both making citizens compete with foreigners for those jobs and, as a result, chase down wages even further.

People become radicalized when they cannot afford 1) a place to live 2) health care and 3) opportunities for a decent education. It's practically past the point of return in all three of those categories. Gutting medicare/medicaid could be the last straw. Mortgages/home insurance/property taxes already forcing people out of their homes. Student loans putting people in debt for the rest of their lives. And now those lives themselves being threatened with medical facility closures, a lack of access, and spiraling costs. All to fund tax cuts for billionaires. It is beyond stupid for America's rulers to push people into such extreme conditions. In the past the formula for American success was built upon 1) cheap land and 2) high demand for labor/salaries. That's gone, now.

I'd like for this to be true. I think. Prior to Xi, the way things were moving with gradualist and relatively soft spoken foreign policy, China was pretty much set to have everything just fall into its lap. The cat was belled, however, with Xi and everyone made aware. Even the greedy sellouts on Wall Street and in Congress. No doubt many Chinese leaders would like to get things back to where they were.

2025 SSA Form 7162 - "Hello, are you dead yet?" forms.
John Drake replied to connda's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
There was an online forum with an SSA official and I managed to put this question to him. He said they were working on doing precisely that, using the MySocialSecurity account. That was two years ago, I think. -
British Lump of Lard Hauled Off Thai Lion Air Flight
John Drake replied to John Drake's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
How many people wake up in the morning and think "in just a few hours I'll be spread out on an airplane aisle, police and airline officials surrounding me, filmed and recorded on people's phones with the video sent out across the world and becoming an international news story, as well as likely being banned from all future air travel." How do you escape from considering the shame and humiliation you will now live with for the rest of your life? -

Yea, I would hope they would check with her company at least to verify. But if they're being at least this reasonable that is a relief. -

They make luggage fit a specified physical dimension. They can do the same with people. Have a sample seat sitting at the departure lounge. If someone can't fit in it or they spill over, they must buy two tickets. -
Random Immigration Checks

I'm on a retirement extension but have sometimes wondered about switching to the marriage extension. But always wondered what would happen if my wife was out of town or country if they decided to visit. Her business has her going to Jakarta and Beijing for three or four days at a time a few times per year. Would hate to draw the black bean while she was gone. -

I don't hear anything from him. It has always had horrible candidates. But now they are winning. And they are set to go on winning because of two things, the cost of housing and debt, in particular student debt. That's what is behind this frenzy for socialism across the country among people below 40 years old. There are solutions, some popular and easy across demographic lines, but the billionaires aren't going to allow the problem to be solved. Both parties' billionaires.

The Conscription Act of 1863 allowed wealthy New Yorkers to pay Irish immigrants to substitute for them (in the substitution pool) instead of fighting in the Civil War. Immigration at some level is always about making the wealthy wealthier, safer, and comfortable at the expense of the workers and middle class.

Between now and the election, Adams needs to coordinate with ICE to run daily sweeps through NYC and clear out the illegals. https://www.thecity.nyc/2025/03/13/how-noncitizens-can-participate-elections-civic-engagement/

Interesting. But what about Curtis Sliwa? This poll says Sliwa is ahead of Adams. One of these two needs to stand down and support the other. A May poll conducted by Emerson College, PIX11 and The Hill showed 10% of registered voters support Adams, compared to 13% who support Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.

Trump is more likely to be the Anti-Christ than anything else. If you seek his monument, look around you. The cultural flowering of the Age of Trump is represented by the likes of Catturd and Laura Loomer.
