Now I have met a many senior citizens of 60 with Chinese wives of mid thirties. Seems a magic number.
800k x 2 plus legal fees should do the trick. Plus legal fees because no one likes to go through the hustle of running hundred times to the Immigration office with bundles of translated documents and a legal translator.
Wanna get a good old lawyer who knows the system? I know him from 1976. He still is there, bit grey though and now affluent. Used to work from under the Highway overpass at Soi 1 Sukhumvit, nowadays on Silom Road.
But I don't give a hoot said the nightowl.

' Parinya was found to have opened several companies in Thailand and Hong Kong in connection with the case. Finnish Bitcoin owner Aarni Otava Saarimaa was lured into transferring Bitcoins worth almost Bt800 million to Thai suspects for further investment in Thai and other securities as well as for use in Macau casinos. '...
People are greedy ..
Would have been enough to convert the BC and live a cool life somewhere. Aarni Otava Saarimaa .. not enough ? africasiaeuro

Our society is sick. Undescribeable cruelty should be punished North Korean style.

Back to Khaosarn for a visit? What for ?.. The hawkers were the main attraction. Rest is of little use. What is so difficult to understand.

What did I predict.. Nobody will ... Includ8ng myself. Nonsense decision to drive away tourists.
There arw many alternatives : Hanoi, Nhatrang, Pnomh Penh, Hochiminh, and Vangvieng. So here we go. Failed. Bad for tourism.

Another case of TIT. The person is as usual ignorant about Geckos.
I am sometimes shocked about the level of ignorance.
No wonder why Thais call Farungs the way they do.
They consider them as Farungs pale skin money givers.
Anyway. Ask somebody who knows more about the Gecko s importance in Thai culture. Gin yoong mood laeow. it's part of a Thai important part, and not only for the latter.
Don't put your house in disarray because of it.
Honestly, if I was the Immigration boss, I would ask every Farung to study culture and language before handing out resident permits. Chaff separates from wheat.
You Farungs ought to learn about your host country more than just the female body parts.

Lol I'd like to add some excellent Thai song that goes nicely with it. It's quiet too saucy for normal standards.
So I decided not to sing it. Still this is fun.

I wonder what must be harder to swallow for the authorities: The dead bodies or the fact that most drivers in Thailand are the ultimate killing machine.
Our pop star Thai friend herself zooms on the Highway like nothing. But then she is a good driver ( a stunning one well known ).
When driving myself on the Ayudhya Highway I fortunately never came across some luni drivers.
However I already see ' daeng ' when I have to take a public cab ( as much as I don't want to ), and the driver asks: ' Highway '? Because once they are on the Chaengwattana race course or Ratchadaphisek they step fully on the throttle. One wonders if they are on a suicide mission
It takes more than one ' cha cha krub ' before they start realizing they aren't alone in the cab. There the problem is: 'how dare you ask me to slow down'.
To blame are the authorities. They are unwilling, unable, and disinterested to stop the suicidal maniacs from over speeding.
The best trick that seem to have worked for 30 plus years is to look at the driver and car carefully.
I start a conversation in Thai where is your hometown, which invariably means he is from Issarn. Then I switch to some Thai classic upon which he will ask me: ' Puying Thai suay mai? ' Which I of course confirm with a big smile.
By the time we reach the highway we already have a jovial relationship and he won't curse me silently: ' Farung Aiheeya '. I am all ears to his personal problems, including the hard and long hours of work, which is a fact.
Some compassion for his situation will go a long way and assures a safe ride.
An elderly driver has been on the road for decades, and keeps his vehicle in neat condition. He doesn't want to loose his main source of income.
Nothing goes without luck though.
Better to turn a few drivers away and wait for the next one than to end up in a ditch or Hospital, or even cemetery. Sawadee. africasiaeuro Cuneo Italy,

In harsh words, a Farung dies like a dog on the street. Noone to come near him. Nobody gives a hoot about him.
Except for his money.

Justice is injustice. Family is destroyed.
What will it help now if one is found guilty.
One should never get to a stage where one is subjected to the court system is all what you can take from this . Especially in countries of doubtful lawkeepers.
LOS or LOT.
A hopeless dream.

Your head is filled with farang court nonsense. Poor thai vs thai is what it is ..no buying a verdict here
nobody - especially ppl without any compassion - will escape their own fate which will catch up with them eventually. When their own time comes they will cough up their own garb, bit by bit. Question of time.

Thanks to Merkel. In Pre Merkel days such would not have been the case.
She made it all possible.
Stirring up racism once again in a country already hurt by it's past.

One reason more not to hitch a ride to Bangkapi on SanSaep. Splashing waters don't require much more pollutants.
Police to be commended.
Dismemberment requires lots of physical efforts, what motive could be behind it. Money 1. Jealousy 2. Revenge 3.

Critics may query this attempt to cleanse their spirit. Nine days seems a rather vague attempt to chastify a group of youngsters at that age. Forgotten before it even started.

Hard talk: " You reap.what you sow ".
Business school owner. One business you haven't learnt.
"But I don't give a hoot" - in reference to the best columnist LOS ever saw.

Not bad considering the time it took for someone to raise the topic.
How long is Suvarnabhum operating now ? Thirteen years precisely.
First impression one gets at Cobra swamp: Sinful expensive outlets of Restaurants on 2nd Floor. They compete each other with price hiking techniques. Kuaiteow moo 180 Baht on a good day.
<deleted> one must ask why.
And yet, Tourists are being relieved of their last Baht.
A thousand here Baht, a thousand there, someone making big bucks on the back of the Tourist suqers.
Good we can enter the Lounge.
The Obudsman has now been involved. Do you really want to know my opinion about the outcome ? Better not... cause it ain't go s..t to the price hiking efforts of the Airport Elite...
Make that buck elsewhere as easy.

TIT. To use some old term. Nothing more nothing less.
Call it realism.

Truly speaking: Without the slight hesitation - if accusations are true.
Happen to know another fake priest in Bkk who reads the sermons during day and has a different nighlife altogether. Just by coincidence this one is an Aussie too.
Bangrak seems to be the venue for such individuals.

Wow !
And how will Tourists react to this?
Without Hawkers no Khaosan. Death sentence for PhraArthit, Samsen, Soi Rambutri inclusive.
Wise decision Mr. Governor ? I doubt it very much.
Sometimes we must weigh decisions such as this.
They have a great impact on the Economy.
I have seen moves of this sort in African countries too.
Some president wants to tax the streetbeggars for example.
Looks like another move of the World Elite in order to get a bigger share of the market.

This is BS at its best.
If the so called investors are pedos themselves then this makes sense.
Otherwise it's crap.
Of course as we all know this is a sensitive question.
But to link a stock with this crap defies all sanity.

The falling of shares of Tesla and comments regarding the diver are sheer coincidence.
Tesla has a number of problems not because of a comment made.
Their car Li-Ion batteries are weak. Frequent burn outs happened.
Now Elon realizes that his type of battery isn't the most suitable after all.
Car sales will drop after people see the increasing numbers of Teslas in flames.
Ridiculous to pay such amount for a car with such flaws.
Thailand with open arms
Thailand welcomes people of this kind H.N.W.I. in short. Bucks relate to smiles and hugs.
All new investment new jobs new everything. Win win for both parties.

Defenders of Vern should say : Let him prove his innocence in a clear yes or no statement.
On the other hand Musk could prove his Minisub wasn't a PR stunt that may bring 10000 jobs for Thailand.
Which is of more essence - the pedo or the Minisub?
If I was the Thai government, I'd choose the Minisub over the Pedo statement.
Maybe it's time the Thai authorities add their voice to this impasse.
To be most grateful to the British diver is one thing they already proved by giving them an Elite card each.
Best solution for all: Let Musk and Vern bury their grievances and concentrate on the essential things.
Shake hands a la Trump - Putin style.
P.M. Prayut invites both to sit on a table and the world watches a friendly handshake.
Not too difficult if you think.

Trump is right to admit past mistakes in foreign policy towards Russia.
You isolate a Giant and make him look like a rogue isn't bringing any benefits.
As a businessman Trump knows how to deal with problems diplomatically.
Russia is an important member of the world community.
You can not ignore Russia given it's economic and military powers.
It was wrong and counterproductive.
Trump's approach is geopolitically seen correct, irrespective to what one feels.
Only dumbasses like McCain would see it otherwise
But what has McCain ever done else but to destroy. From Vietnam to Syria, McCain has only caused misery and destruction.

Killing the Khaosan goose
in Bangkok News
Posted
As an old fruit juice seller on Soi Rambutri used to tell us: ' Thai young guys and chicks come to Khaosan Soi Rambutri on weekends to booze at one of the many bars along Rambutri - get drunk then go and f..k '... So the words of the old guy who worked next to the VW bus there. Nice chap, he and his wive sold fresh pure only juices for 80 B. They pushed him out finally. 'They' wanted more money from him.
No, it's not only the foreigners who love Khaosan for what it is: ' Hot entertainment place where everybody ( including our popstar friend ) loves to walk, play, eat and drink during evenings.
Why anybody wants to destroy this is beyond my imagination, except perhaps some big shot wanted a big cut and he couldn't get it..
No outsider knows the reality - yet. Let me go and I will.
Cha ruk khoon.
But I do give a hoot.
