The IDF have just released an intercepted recording of two Palestinian operatives discussing how the rocket that was fired by militants from Palestinian Islamic Jihad from a cemetery adjacent to the hospital, misfired and caused the explosion. I have just listened to it, and they are obviously not talking in English, but it has translation subtitles. Chilling how they dismiss it as a bit of bad luck.

By far the most twisted logic I have seen on this thread, and I’ve seen some bizarre comments. So what do you think should happen to the Hamas terrorists that returned to Gaza after slaughtering 1,400 Israeli civilians, including babies, pregnant women, the disabled, and old people; ask them if they’d be jolly good chaps and go to The Haig to stand trial ? And what of the 200 odd hostages taken, just leave them there to be slaughtered and paraded through the streets on pick up trucks in front of a jeering mob.

So, continually supporting the Hamas narrative, and didn’t know that their political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, resides in a luxury hotel suite in Qatar, and that Al Jazeera are based in Qatar.

This is an appalling humanitarian disaster, and to immediately jump into point scoring mode, and preemptive blame apportioning, when the source of this strike remains unverified, tells me everything I need to know about you, as if I didn’t know already. The IDF have said “From a comprehensive debrief and fusing all the operational and intelligence systems, it is clear that the IDF did not attack the hospital, but it was hit as a result of a misfire by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organisation" They (the IDF) have said they will produce evidence to this effect. The IDF have the most sophisticated targeting systems in the world, and have everything to lose and nothing whatsoever to gain by such a strike, on the day President Biden arrives in Israel. Conversely, Hamas and PIJ have everything to gain for their propaganda machine, and enraging neighbouring supporters in order to escalate this conflict into a much wider one. I can’t help you if this is all a bit too complex for you to analyse, and you just want to jump to the conclusion that suits your continuing anti-Israeli narrative. Firstly and fore-mostly, it is a terrible disaster, but I will wait for some verification as to the cause before apportioning blame.

The fact that you want to dismiss this well reported news as propaganda, means you are defending / dismissing the actions of this organisation. Please be aware that Hamas are a designated terrorist organisation, and by defending their actions, you become a de facto supporter of terrorism.

Do you support the actions taken by Hamas on Saturday 7th October 2023, which are the actions that are directly responsible for the tragic death of these young children ?? Do you also have enough clarity of thought to understand that the actions taken by Hamas on that day were done deliberately to bring death and destruction on their own people, in order to make them involuntary martyrs for their propaganda machine …….. I didn't think so.

I have read a lot of this posters comments and have found them to be written in clear concise English, and often offering good information and insight. If you feel his language to be “authoritative” it might be more to do with you than the way in which he expresses his views.

Well the inhibiting of people’s ability to evacuate, has all been done by Hamas; something they have stated clearly as a policy, and have even set up road blocks to this effect; so sacrificial genocide of their own people on the part of Hamas might well be true.
