If it's for cultural and deepened mixing with the young local species of the opposite sex, with an impressive pannel of STD's, highly boozed, perhaps one could obviously consider Pattaya??!!!

 Pattaya is highly advised if you enjoy getting bashed up by the locals, late at night for no reason, enjoy having your picture all bruised on the local press, or if you enjoy skydiving from high rise buildings..!!!!.....

and if your philanthrophy urges you to distribute regular amounts of tea money, the Pattaya Police Motor Road Blocks will take you to paradise!!....Enjoy!!

as we were saying in a thread yesterday but no one seemed to understand or believe...whatever.....

This is a catastrophic situation for importers...a realistic rate today for the THB would be around 40 to 45 THB for 1 US$. Exports will benefit, tourism will boost, investments etc etc…..

As for those who expect a price fall, do not dream as the greed of local retailers/distributors being what it is, even if imports cost less due to the strong THB, the prices won't be adapted to benefit the street consumer....

this is how Thai's get spoilt, rude and dishonest and this is how prices get inflated!!!...it is a duty of every  farang from a strong currency country to be responsible abroad, tip and pay to local standards and not make a show of wealth just due to favourable exchange rates...would you leave a 40US$ tip my dear fellow in TrumpLand? Not enough white people in the Philippines. I was living in Boracay and had a great apartment, a woman, and a beautiful beach, but the nightlife was not nearly as good as BKK. I am in my 30s, though, so that may be a bit different.

PROS: Excellent local beer (Red Horse), no drinking restrictions, and a great beach.

CONS: Little to do and limited nightlife.

we have a saying here....never carry your beer to Munich!!....and a decent girl in the west will always pay her airfare and her share of holiday expenses...if she cannot due to lesser wages then one can understand and put in a bit more before the trip......but if she can afford, but expects the guy to shell out all costs... ...then it's plainly..."NEXT"!!...split costs proportionately if necessary, but always make the girlie put in a share of  travel expenses....IMHO that is a basic to a healthy and uncupid relationship!!
